The Weather

Weather: After an unnaturally long and difficult winter, spring has finally come again. Flowers are blooming in the fiels, the trees are green with new leaves, and perhaps most importantly, the prey has returned. The weather is still cool but quickly warming up, and sunny days alternate with light showers.

The Packs

After a long, cold winter plagued with unnatural occurences, the evil spirit finally revealed itself. It took control of those wolves who had drunk its poisoned water and pitted them against their untainted packmates in a vicious and devastating battle. Nevertheless, together with the guardian spirits of the packs, they were able to defeat the evil spirit and regain their fallen friends. But the landscape has been changed drastically, and the packs themselves have taken on new shapes.

Where do you fit?

Loners
A Loner is a wolf with no pack. If you choose to remain this way, you must accept that you will not be welcome in the pack lands except to request admission, nor will you be able to hunt in them. You are, however, expected to respect the alphas of the packs as well as their pack members, so be careful what you say or risk the consequences.

Kehme
The Strong
The former packs of the Da'Lith and the Erkeni combined to form the Kehme, a larger and stronger pack named after the Da'Lith alpha's brother and the Erkeni's first alpha. They are chiefly warriors and hunters, with great pride in their physical skills. Loners seeking entrance are first required to prove their fighting prowess.

Lairehl
The Compassionate
Composed of both the original Tyrehl members and the spiritual Lai'no, these wolves value kindness and gentleness. They are generally patient and understanding, and much prefer talking to fighting. They are the peacemakers, known to back down rather than fight unless backing down would bring harm to a packmate. Wolves who wish to join these ranks are rarely denied.

Calazehr
The Darkhearted
The combined Zehr and Caladur packs, now called the Calazehr, are a force to be reckoned with. Here reside spies and cold-hearted killers those who bear no burdens on their consciences and feel no love for others.

Veren
The Family
After losing their lands to the vicious Calazehr, the former Veren pack seeks refuge in the unclaimed lands. They remain together, a pack without a true home, merely seeking to survive. With relationships plenty thicker than blood and an alpha litter on the way, it is unlikely that they will accept newcomers into the fold.

Will history repeat itself?

Plot Updates

The evil spirit Angel has finally been defeated, with the help of two brave wolves who sacrificed themselves to the cause, Tristan and Zyattiath. Those wolves poisoned during the ordeal have returned to their original state, with only mild weakness that will quickly fade, leftover from the strange magic. But with each pack's ranks decimated, the disappearance of the spirits, and the lands in disarray, drastic changes were made. The Zehr and Caladur have combined, as have the Lai'no and the Tyrehl, and the Da'Lith and the Erkeni. The Veren have retreated to the neutral lands, their former territory taken by the newly powerful Calazehr.

Name: Arienne
Age: Around 6 months
Gender: Female

Appearance/description: Arienne, in all aspects, has taken after her mother. Her size, even now, is a little on the smaller side, though this is hardly a very important matter to her. She figures as she grows she will eventually fill out and be around the size of a normal female wolf, but she’ll still end up being a tad under par. Her fur is thick and fluffy, just slightly more so than her siblings, and is further proof that she is a spitting image of Lakota. There is a touch of grace to her now that will carry over once she is an adult, and will probably end up being more evident over time.

Even as a pup her coat is white, only slightly touched with gray since she is a pup and is still sporting a puppy coat. As she grows the gray will fade, revealing the brilliant, pure white of her mother. The only little difference she has is her tail, tipped in black, while the rest of her keeps up the pretty white image. Her eyes are, considering her age, rather expressive, and always seem to hold a caring light to them. They are dark brown in color, though appear to lighten in certain lights.

Personality: As she has taken after her mother in appearance, Arienne has done the same with personality. She has her mother’s same kind personality, always seeing the good in others and never judging anyone harshly the first time around. She could almost be considered an optimist, though she does tend to look at things from all points of view instead of coming to a quick decision. She doesn’t really get shy around others, but does remain quiet until she finds she has something of importance to say. Even statements made to put someone in their place will be said nicely so not too much offense is taken. Her loyalty runs strong, and her family ties run deep, so she is willing to do practically anything to help her pack and living relatives. She doesn’t try to be a leader around her siblings--Talos won’t allow it--but if the need should arise she has no problem handling the authority.

Despite her kind ways, anger isn’t a foreign concept for her. She feels it every once in a while during a conflict with her siblings, but instead of letting it get to her she excuses herself and takes a moment of alone time to calm herself down. Of course, she tends to try and rationalize the way she feels, but usually she ends up seeing how silly the whole argument was and comes back to play and socialize with her brothers and sister. When she does get angry, Arienne doesn’t lash out at anyone or start screaming what ever insult comes to mind first. Instead she tries to keep a calm and collected head to either explain herself or end the argument as a whole by agreeing to disagree. She may not show her anger, but even after a fight she can still hold a grudge and if it fits her mood not bother who ever made her mad for a certain period of time.

History: For being so young, Arienne and her siblings have actually been through quite a lot. Her parents, the ex-Alphas of the Tyrehl, had given up their positions of power in the hopes of leaving the pack in someone else's paws. Soon after relinquishing their titles, they settled themselves in the neutral lands where they had a litter of pups. Conditions were harsh because of the never ending winter, and the shortened supply of food because of it. Somehow, the little family prevailed against the odds, and kept up a small den within the neutral lands. They were even happy with the life that had been dealt to them.

The spirit mess seemed to create a lot of chaos over time, and even their secluded group was touched by it. Though his loyalties with the Tyrehl pack had been broken, Vyess still felt a strong pull to join in the fight and try to put a stop to the malevolent spirit Angel. Farewells were given quickly after he decided to go and fight, knowing he would only go if he felt it was the right thing to do. From the relative safety of their hidden den, the pups and their mother waited, hoping that their much beloved family member would return to them. Unfortunately, it wasn't him who came with news of the spirit's defeat. A friend of the family, the Beta of the Tyrehl, came and found them following Vyess' wishes, recollecting a softer version of the battle and Vyess' last words to her. She took the family back with her to the newly made pack combining what was left of the Tyrehl and Lai'no, where Vyess' family was to be watched over and taken care of.

Life was greatly different here, what with the awkward tensions that hung between the two old pack's wolves having to merge and mingle, as well as just having so many other wolves around when they were used to the quiet of their hidden den. They were well taken care of and provided for by the pack members, but it was clear that Lakota was very much distraught over the loss of her mate. She passed away not long after arriving, leaving her children in the care of the Lairehl pack.

Well, technically you still need a signature, but I don't feel like nitpicking. >_>
