THE VEREN
Some of you might have noticed that the Veren Pack once again exists. "But Arri," you say, "what about the plot?" Well, that's all still in place; the Veren are a pack in name only. They don't have any territory of their own, since the Calazehr took it.
The way I see it, it was silly for the Veren not to be a pack just because they lacked lands. Based on their thread in the Neutral Lands, many of them seem to be sticking together anyway, so I see no reason that they can't still be the Veren. Besides, that allows for more fun - they can still accept new members, if they like, and they can try to get their land back, or whatever. Also, four packs probably won't make that much of a difference in the number of members, especially since the Veren are relatively self-contained.
So they once again have their own color, accepted application forum, update forum, and description in the marquee. Just like old times, eh?
If the description I wrote for the marquee doesn't sit well with the Veren, let me know, and I'll fix it. Also, please notify me if any of the former Veren have not been moved to the new group. I did my best to remember who used to be in the pack, but it's been awhile.
ADVERTISING
I wrote up (read: copied from the marquee) a
new advertisement to reflect the site's changes. If you guys wouldn't mind helping me spread the word about this place, hopefully we can get things going again! I haven't been on any roleplaying sites in ages, so I'm kind of out of the loop; most of the sites I've got favorited are inactive. If you've been roleplaying elsewhere, please do advertise there!
Let me know if you think any changes should be made to the advertisement, as well. I'm never really sure what makes a good ad.
