Male, grey and brown, yellow eyes, tall, powerful build
Personality: Talos lives up to the first-born stereotype, being dominating, ambitious and commanding. The only wolf he listens to is his mother, and he'll go out of his way to take care of her. He's usually impatient and bad-tempered, acting more like his father's brother Chael than like his father.

Second born: Arienne -- taken
Female, white, dark brown eyes, built like Lakota
Personality: Arienne appears to have inherited everything from her mother, both appearance and personality. She is, as a rule, calm and lighthearted, with a knack for diplomacy.

Third born: Kaylen or Farrah (Either works)
Female, white and grey, amber eyes, built like Vyess
Personality: She's fun-loving and adventurous, with an enduring optimism and a love for meeting new wolves. Nothing seems to get her down for long. She has an explosive temper, but on a long fuse, and so she is almost never truly angry.

Fourth born: Nexus -- taken
Male, black, yellow eyes, built like Vyess
Personality: Up for grabs (I was thinking perhaps quiet and reclusive, but whatever works)



All of 'em are up for adoption. And by the way, then won't be in the loner lands for long - there's a sort of side plot planned. Just in case you were put off by the fact that they're not part of a pack. If you end up playing one of the puppies I'll PM you and tell you what's going to happen.

You can do some powerplaying in the RP sample if you like, as long as whoever you powerplay is portrayed correctly. Just remember that it's supposed to show how well you can play your puppy's personality, not someone else's. Appearance and personality should be the same length as in a real application.

Depending on how long it takes to get all the puppies adopted, they'll either be born before the finale, or immediately after.

Appearance:

Talos will grow to have a body to match his personality. Even as a pup he shows traits that he will grow up to be strong and muscular. His frame is alittle taller then most pups at his age. Yet it all works out just fine for him. By the time he reaches a few months of age he will have out grown his siblings already, and his muscular frame has started to develope. Though he is tall, he isn't exactly what you would call slender. His shoulders are squared in a masculine manner and his legs are wide, powerful pillars. A feature that is alittle shocking to see upon a puppy is perhaps his boldly crafted crown. Eyes are set deep, making him appear wise and understanding, contrasting with his build. Indeed he will be a big male once he is through growing.

His puppy pelt and his adult pelt will differ only alittle. Mostly his pelt is grey in color, a darker grey then most would have thought him to be in the long run. The majority of the grey that colors his pelt is a deep soot grey, almost black in some areas while lighter in others such as around his face and legs. His underbelly and chest are the lightest areas on his body, almost a soft cream yet just alittle to dark to be considered just that color. Along his muzzle and ears his fur turns into a dark rust trim. The same color forms a saddle patteren across his back, this patteren runs through his tail, yet fails to color his sides. Eyes are a pale shade of amber that grows darker near his black pupils.

Personality:

Being first born and therefore the oldest of the litter means alot to Talos. Even off the start he tends to be bossy towards his siblings and dominate from the start. Talos has a bad temper on a short fuse, and doesn't see a problem with it. It doesn't really matter how offense the crime was, its mostly all treated just the same. So beware don't cast him a dirty look or so much as speak down to him without accepting the consequences. Though he is dominating to his siblings, he is closest to his third born sister. His patiences runs out for Arienne, therefore doing anything with her is just a fight waiting to happen. Kaylen/ Farrah on the other hand, he gets along well with and rarely fights with her truely. Its simply in his nature to be a smart ass big brother who just has to be dominant over everyone.

As mean and bad natured as he may seem, he does have a good head on his shoulders. His only problem is admitting he is wrong when he is in fact wrong. Once Talos has set his mind to something, it gets done. He tends to follow the theory of 'My way, or no way,' therefore unless someone wants to do things his way, then he usually does stuff alone.

He is closest to his Mother and only ever really listens to her. Though he acts all big and bad, and really he thinks he is, his Mother is his weakness. Personally he sees his father somewhat as a pushover and usually ignores him when spoken to. After Talos learns of his uncle Cheal, Alpha of the Dalith, it will be him who Talos seeks out to meet. Those that are strong and value that are something he would just love to apart of. Unlike his own father, who was once the Tyrehl alpha.

No one every wanted to do anything when he wanted to do stuff. What a bunch of low lifes... He thought to himself. Talos wasn't one to take being rejected very lightly. At nearly a half year in age he was disgusted to find that his sisters would rather stand around and talk about cute males then actually go out and go something with the wonderful, handsome brother of theirs. It just didn't make sense, what did they need to talk about anyways, it was rather simply in his mind. Either a wolf is good looking or not, nothing really to discuss. Shaking his head irritably he trotted away from the little group of girls. Allowing his tassle to rise above his back he flicked it irritably in the air, and then took off to do what he wanted to do. Not like he was going to stick around and discuss males with his sisters. It wasn't even like they had any hot friends.

What a let down, that could of worked out... The thought crossed his mind and he simply pushed it away. Not sure what he would have done around a pretty girl besides perhaps sit and look handsome. Maybe not that would have just gotten boring anyways, he would want a female that was both pretty and adventerous to hook up with. Not that he was thinking about finding a mate just yet, but making friends never hurt anyone did it?

Powerful pillars worked, making the muscles in his shoulders and back flex and stand out alittle more then usual. His strides where long and covered distance easily even at his young age. He was big for his age, and still growing on top of that. The cool air entered his raven colored nose, and exited with each breath as steam. It was nearly noon by the time he reached his desired spot, he often visited this very spot. Pale amber eyes looked around as he relaxed, his frame holding a dominant posture none the less of where he was. Rust tipped auds flicked at a sound and his eyes followed his ears to find what had disrupted his peace of mind. Squirrels.... He though to himself, They never learn to shut up. Rolling his eyes irritably he stepped towards the small grey animal. Watching as it dug into the soft, damp soils of the earth. Pale eyes steadied on the plump frame, watched the fluffy tail flicker above the animals frame. Lowering his frame he waited, tassle out straight behind him. Muscles froze, his breath became quiet as his eyes met the raven orbs of the target.

Waiting.... Waiting.... Waiting..Wait. I'm done waiting!

The squirrel had made the mistake of returning to dig, it would never know the face of its kill. Large powerful frame landed upon the plump body of the squirrel. A small screach sounded then all the silent and the limp frame hung proudly in his jaws. The adrenaline of killing something was still in his blood stream, making his dominant stance more pronounced as he wandered back to his spot. Sitting exactly upon the Tyrehl, Dalith border, the mere scent of the powerful pack made him excited and he set the squirrel down on the border and waited. His patience would run out soon enough and he would eat the squirrel and wander back into Tyrehl domain. It was the same story everytime, but once day that would all change.

Sorry, Angel, I thought I'd give other people the chance to apply if they wanted, just in case, but I meant to post earlier than this. So, obviously,

Pup you want: Nexus
Wolves You Play: Fenris, Amethyst, Raijuu and Aelith(not born yet)

Appearance: It might never be sure what Nexus will look like when he is older till he gets there, but for the mean time he is small and sturdy. Being the only black pup in his litter, and the youngest, Nexus has the obvious ‘different’ gene. Even though one day he will almost be built like his father, being a pup it is never easily told. At least his legs are built strong, but Nexus tends to trip over himself when running fast. So most of the time he can be a bit ungainly, a simple price for such momentum. His fur will change a lot over time, but will keep its black root. Different tints and shades of black cover the young pup’s body. Here and there are signs of brown, but it could just be the trick of the eye on the Nexus’ pelt. One thing to look forward to is Nexus’ huge paws. He will have to grow into them, but even as an adult he’ll be smaller than most. Born with blue eyes, it won’t take long for Nexus’ to have eyes of amber and gold. He will grow up fast, but most likely, he won’t even reach the height of his sisters any time soon.

Personality: Nexus’ ‘different’ gene, as he likes to call it, is also different in his personality. It might just be a phase each youngest pup of the litter goes through, or it might just be this one, little pup. Compared to the rest of his siblings, Nexus likes his alone time. He is the shy and quiet wolf, usually a follower watching from afar. Meeting new wolves is also hard, for they tend to seem so much bigger than he is. Now Nexus isn’t a runt, but he sure does hate being small. So, this black fur ball takes an interest in birds that are smaller than himself. It might not just be that they are smaller than Nexus, but probably because they can fly and it is the pup’s only true interest. Watching his siblings play is a bit boring, Nexus likes to stay out of a lot of fights started by his brother. Even so, there always seems to be a little voice in the black pup’s head. This voice, or energy, seems to store up and wait for the right moment to release. Going too far with this pup can sometimes be deadly. Nexus tends to like his privacy, but if evaded with force this little wolf will show force back. As a pup it might only affect his siblings, but as he grows it will affect anyone of any age or size with a sad ending.

RP sample with the puppy: The grass is always greener on the other side, how wrong they were. One small, black pup stood out against the snow white setting around him. If it weren’t for the time being midnight, the little wolf would had stood out even more, but he kept himself to the shadows of every tree and rock. Looking around with his golden eyes, not a speck of green could be seen in the moon light. He grunted and looked some more. Every time he turned over a rock, there was snow, every time he rounded a tree, there was snow. Nexus, the black pup, couldn’t quite understand why everyone would talk about greener grass. He knew he shouldn’t take much notice of what others said, he didn’t take much notice of others anyways.

Watching a sparrow fly by ahead, Nexus turned away from the green grass thing and followed the flying bird. Bounding over clumps of snow and rock, Nexus almost flew right by the birds resting place. Skidding to a halt almost falling on his face, the young pup quietly searched out and found the bird sitting up top a rock. His eyes widened, watching the bird with interest. All it did was sit there, cleaning its wings and twitching its feathers. Nexus laid there in the grass, getting bored. After a while of this the young pup finally did what his brother would have probably done long ago and chased the bird down, missing it by only a few inches. Growling on the ground he watched the bird fly away before finding a new interest in a firefly. Wagging his tail, Nexus followed the glowing insect through the trees, back the way he had come from with a few stops and turns here and there. Finally, as he and the bug came to a clearing, Nexus stopped once more as the bug dipped to the ground almost right in front of the black pup. Cocking his head, and then grinning, Nexus lunged at the bug with a great pushing force from his hind legs. His muzzle hit the snow, and everything grew dark.

Walking back home, or to where his parents and siblings were at not far from where he had gone, Nexus only had to make a quick stop to shake his head clear of the snow latched onto his nose. His head was raised, but he didn’t stop to chat with anyone, in truth, he avoid just about every one till his mother came out with a curious look on her face almost asking what the little pup had been doing. Nexus just grinned; his teeth glowed in the dark, and then walked into the dens. Behind him his mother shook her head for the pup had finally caught something. Never would anyone have had expected a firefly though, and Nexus took an interest in it when the rest of his siblings came in to sleep and he glowed in the darkness of the den, his teeth shining yellow and red. It didn’t take long though, before the bug got away, leaving Nexus to his dreams of a world much, much different from his shy, reclusive and silent own.

Heh, the thing with the firefly was cute ^^

I know this is extremely late--considering the pups were created over two years ago >.<--but I finished the application. ^^

Pup you want: Arienne
Wolves You Play: Anaxi (getting rid of I think), Celestia, Falek, Nierra
Appearance: Arienne, in all aspects, has taken after her mother. Her size, even now, is a little on the smaller side, though this is hardly a very important matter to her. She figures as she grows she will eventually fill out and be around the size of a normal female wolf, but she’ll still end up being a tad under par. Her fur is thick and fluffy, just slightly more so than her siblings, and is further proof that she is a spitting image of Lakota. There is a touch of grace to her now that will carry over once she is an adult, and will probably end up being more evident over time.

Even as a pup her coat is white, only slightly touched with gray since she is a pup and is still sporting a puppy coat. As she grows the gray will fade, revealing the brilliant, pure white of her mother. The only little difference she has is her tail, tipped in black, while the rest of her keeps up the pretty white image. Her eyes are, considering her age, rather expressive, and always seem to hold a caring light to them. They are dark brown in color, though appear to lighten in certain lights.

Personality: As she has taken after her mother in appearance, Arienne has done the same with personality. She has her mother’s same kind personality, always seeing the good in others and never judging anyone harshly the first time around. She could almost be considered an optimist, though she does tend to look at things from all points of view instead of coming to a quick decision. She doesn’t really get shy around others, but does remain quiet until she finds she has something of importance to say. Even statements made to put someone in their place will be said nicely so not too much offense is taken. Her loyalty runs strong, and her family ties run deep, so she is willing to do practically anything to help her pack and living relatives. She doesn’t try to be a leader around her siblings--Talos won’t allow it--but if the need should arise she has no problem handling the authority.

Despite her kind ways, anger isn’t a foreign concept for her. She feels it every once in a while during a conflict with her siblings, but instead of letting it get to her she excuses herself and takes a moment of alone time to calm herself down. Of course, she tends to try and rationalize the way she feels, but usually she ends up seeing how silly the whole argument was and comes back to play and socialize with her brothers and sister. When she does get angry, Arienne doesn’t lash out at anyone or start screaming what ever insult comes to mind first. Instead she tries to keep a calm and collected head to either explain herself or end the argument as a whole by agreeing to disagree. She may not show her anger, but even after a fight she can still hold a grudge and if it fits her mood not bother who ever made her mad for a certain period of time.

RP sample with the puppy: (I’m going to be lazy and write this as if I’m adding her to the Lairehl thread, and then use it for that after it’s been accepted if that‘s okay.)

She’d woken with a start at the sound of a howl. The dens had been awfully quiet up until that point, and the sudden noise jolted the sleeping pup from her rest quite noticeably. As the scare began to wear off and she recognized her surroundings, Arienne began to relax and settle back down once again, gently sighing as she recalled her dream that had been interrupted. Another of her family again, in their little hidden den where they’d stayed with their biological parents. The memory was bittersweet, and she almost wished she could have slipped easily into slumber to revisit it for a while longer, to see her parents again in that dream-like clarity she wasn’t able to have during the waking hours.

But even as she lay there, attempting to fall back asleep with her soft brown eyes closed, it wasn’t working. Sleep now eluded her and she felt herself growing more and more alert and awake with each passing minute, and in her new alertness she began to think about the howl that had woken her. It must have been one of the leads to this pack--her pack, she corrected herself, and not for the first time. She still wasn't very familiar with those of the newly formed Lairehl pack, but it was easy to surmise that only those of authority would bother calling a pack meeting, which it sounded like the howl had been doing.

Should she join them? A quick glance around told her none of the other pups were currently present, though she couldn't be entirely sure they were attending the meeting either. Talos was more of an adventurer, and there was a good chance he'd dragged the others along with him while Arienne had been napping. She gave a quick shake of her head and pulled herself to her paws, stretching momentarily before trotting towards the den entrance and peeking out from the shadows. The faces, though more or less still nameless, were familiar at least, but she recognized the leader, Nave, and the beta, Celestia, quickly enough. The beta seemed to have taken their care upon herself, and Arienne was slowly beginning to accept her as a caretaker. Stepping quietly out of the dens, she walked calmly towards the group, inquisitive brown eyes glancing from one wolf to the other. Coming up beside Celestia, she gave the older female a small, polite smile and took a seat among the rest of the pack's members, double checking the area for any of her siblings.

Oops, sorry, I have no idea how I missed seeing this!
