w00t. If anyone remembered my new year's resolution to write an album's worth of music, we're getting there. We've got one song COMPLETELY finalized (unless we decide that we want everyone to play, in which case we'll think up a couple variations on the bass line. But we've got about 5 more SERIOUSLY in the works, and there's a good chance that we'll be able to record when we're finished writing them, as the uncle of our guitarist (Ikora) owns a recording studio. So for everyone who's not in the VOD, and will therefore not have easy access to the album when it comes out, I might put it up on itunes, and myspace, so that the common american has access to it all. =] Anyway, keep that information in mind, and in a couple of months (probably a little more, given our obviously lacking work ethic,) be looking for Optimus (our band) on your various music websites. Sorry, I don't really like advertising, but I'm completely pumped about this. We've got some majorly butt kicking songs.

Well... the finished one, not really. Not right now. I might make a MIDI of it, I suppose. Not this weekend, though. Too much stuff to do. But all the songs I have anywhere close to finalized (which is about three) I will MIDI as soon as possible, without words, I'm afraid, because I don't have the resources to simulate lyrics. But just for now, here is a VERY, VERY rough version of the song that we've written that I like the best. It's called Electric Assassin.
For the refrain and bridge, it's missing lead guitar, and I don't think Ezmar has even heard the whole thing that I tabbed out, and in the end, it needs his approval, I guess. You'll need to download the
Power Tab Editor to utilize the file. And don't hand it around too much, as it's not finalized, and I don't think it has a copyright as it is. I'll remedy that soon, though.
I put it up as an attachment to this post. And I don't quite know how that works. So figure it out, I guess =P
