Hi to all, I know I've not been on here for a while, but I blame my car - and all its crappyness.

It's off the road because the MOT has run out, and it didn't have a cat in hell's chance of passing, not even with a heafty bribe to the MOT guy. I know you will all slap me if you see me for not getting a MOT test done - just to see what needs fixing, but as I knew better (like all us younger generation do ), so now I've no money, no front end on my car, and 2 engines....whats a dubber to do ?


Well, I've got one main idea in mind, but I need a 1.8 carb head to go onto my 2.0 Audi 80 bottom end, I'm not going for 1.8 injection because I can just afford to put in (just over) a quarter of a tank, and they don't like to run too low, but running a carb isn't too bad (and i know what you're thinking, if I can't afford to run it, why bother with a bigger engine?!.... Because i want one ).... thats the only reason, plus, I might be able to keep that little bit closer to Danny when he blows my doors off at every set of lights.

So, if anyone gets wind of a 1.8 carb engine please get in touch, I have found one, but its £200! And its a bit steep as I only want the top end.

Oh, and where on this "world-wide-web" can i find new small bumpers, I'm going mad!

Why not put a gti head on it and block up the holes for the injectors and fit your carb and inlet manifold. I personally like it with the big bumpers on but thats coz I've got one the same colour.

not much good well a mite hav found aother car anyway and just get rid of mine it has no mot and tax and av fallen out with it it needs break lines weldin 2 new doors and a re spray a think am guna cut ma losses and get rid
