Last night Kristen Bell tweeted from her twitter (IMKristenBell -- yes it is really her) about the Veronica Mars Movie saying

"VM movie fans- rob and i took it to WB- and they said "there is no enthusiasm" to make it so fans have to convince WB! rob and i r in!"

She also went on to say

"ive told em i want to so bad- i think they dont think it will make any money so they want to be sure people will see it. big business. ugh."

She thinks sending letters and feedback to Warner Bros. saying how much you would really love to see a VM movie would help out a lot! So if you are one of the fans who want to see Veronica Mars on the big screen, be sure you to let Warner Bros. know how much you want it to be made!!

Viene a decir q x parte d la Warner no hay entusiasmo y q no pondrian dinero a menos q supiesen q la gente fuese al cine a verlo y q KB nos anima a enviar comentarios y cartas a la Warner Bross solicitando la pelicula de VM...

In March, show creator Rob Thomas gave an update on the developing Veronica
Mars movie, stating that “while the pitch went well and I don’t think the movie’s dead, right now it’s looking depressing.” We haven’t heard anything since, and assumed that it’s fallen into the deep dark depths of development heck. Ad now the star of the series, Kristen Bell, is finally conceding that a film will probably never happen.

Bell tells EW at the Saturn Awards:

"I don’t think it will ever happen, and here’s why: Rob Thomas and I had a powwow, and we were both 100 percent on board. We took our proposal to Warner Bros. and Joel Silver told us that there is no enthusiasm to make a Veronica Mars movie, and that is unfortunately a roadblock we cannot compete with. Maybe if we bombard them with letters? Maybe they will change their tune."

Doesn’t sound good at all. I have a feeling that we haven’t heard the last of this project, and eventually things might come together … but will it be too late? I’ve said this before, but I think this requires repeating: How old could Veronica be before the concept just turns into your typical detective mystery?

Part of the appeal of the show to me was the unique spin of setting the detective story in the world of High School and College. And the only way to bring the story back to the school is to set it at a high school reunion… and I’m not digging that idea. And as much as fans are craving for another fix, I’m not sure the story of a 30-year-old Veronica Mars might be all that interesting. And I say that as a fan of the series. Hey, we’ll always have the DVDs, right?

Aquí os dejo una traducción un poco cutre de lo que yo he entendido del post anterior:

En marzo Rob Thomas, creador de la serie, declaró que el proyecto de la película de Veronica Mars se estaba desarrollando. Dijo que mientras todo fuese bien él no pensaba que la película estuviese muerta aunque parecía algo deprimente. Desde entonces no se ha vuelto a oír nada del tema y todos imaginamos que el proyecto se ha dejado aparcado. Ahora la estrella de la serie, Kristen Bell, anuncia que la película probablemente no se llegará nunca a realizar.

Bell dijo en los Saturn Awards:

“Yo no creo que vaya a ocurrir nunca y el motivo es que Rob Thomas y yo tuvimos una comité y los dos estuvimos al cien por cien en la reunión. Llevamos nuestra propuesta a Warner Bros, y Joel Silver nos dijo que no hay entusiasmo en hacer película de Veronica Mars, y que desafortunadamente no lo podríamos completar. ¿Quizás si nosotros les bombardeáramos con cartas? Quizás cambiarían su opinión.”

Puede que me haya saltado algún trocillo, pero lo que yo saco en claro es que la pelicula no se va a hacer por el momento... pero que seria bueno que los fans mandasemos cartas o email a la warner pidiendo la pelicula.

yo estaria dispuesta a ir a verla al cine 10 VECES!! y por supuesto el DVD jejeje xD
