I chose Ps3 because I think it's the system that overall has the most potential out of the three. Most Xbox 360 games are also going multi-platform over to Ps3 and vice versa. IMO the Ps3 will eventually catch up with the 360 and produce games as good or if not better than say Gears of War or even upcoming Halo 3. As far as 360's games go they are great but the 360's library lacks variety, it seems that they are very shooter oriented and lack in other genres. I personally have a Ps3 and a Wii and the fact of the matter is for me the Wii is a great secondary console but not good as a main console. The Wii just doesn't have the software available to satisfy the core gamer I think, but is great fun when your in casual gaming moods.I like all 3 systems and think that the Xbox 360 has the best software out of the 3 but the Ps3 and Wii have been out for 6 months compared to the year's head start the Xbox 360's had.

My opinion is the same as his. However, I also add that PC can be a great platform as well. A good PC can more or less suppliment an XBox, as their games are typically released on both platforms.
PS3 definately has the quality, but lacks quantity. Wii is fun, but falls short both on quantity and quality. The only really worthwhile game is Twilight Princess. I trust in Nintendo to release more though (Super Smash Bros Brawl FTW!). XBox is great for quality and quantity, but PS3 has potential to do much better in both, and XBox lacks variety.

As for what I actually use for gaming, I have a PC and a Wii. I'm hoping to get a PS3 to go with this kickawesome TV we got though. (Mainly for Oblivion)

EDIT- LoneWolf, I couldn't help but lol when your avi was going to the beat of my classical music, as if the cat was conducting the music. :grin:

I have allways been a loyal fan of the Playstation and the PS2 so I think that the PS3 will rule. But so far I have played the Wii and Xbox 360 but I'm waiting to play PS3.

Oh yeah, FP! YOU GOT ME ADDICTED TO LUCKY STAR :angry: I'M LISTENING TO THE SONG MOTTEKE SAILOR FUKU RIGHT NOW AND I JUST WANT TO SAY;
thank you, it is funny.

Yeah, Lucky Star is pretty much awesome IMO. I've ripped all the songs from their Motteke Sailor Fuku remix album, as well as songs from other CDs from "videos" on YouTube, and they're also pretty much awesome. (Except the Glucosa mix, which is boring as hell)

On topic, I've had a moment of doubt today in my decision to buy the PS3 this month, but my fears left me when I remembered that it's backwards compatible with the PS2, which has a plethora of exclusive titles I want *coughDevilMayCry1,2&3cough*

Oh, and since he doesn't seem to be saying it, I'll mention that our friend LoneVVolf there has the Wii, PS3 and the Xbox 360, which is why I was having that moment of doubt. I mean, Fable 2 is only for Xbox 360 and Windows (probably Vista. blegh.)
