-No pointless swearing. If you need to curse to make a point, try to keep it clean. Excess swearing will be edited from your posts, and can result in banning. (Minor curses, such as "hell", we can live with.)

-No flaming. This means insulting another user. However, if your just joking, it's probably fine. I say probably because sometimes jokes can go too far. For example, insulting someone's sexuality, religion, or race.

-No posting of inappropriate material. This includes sexually explicit material, pornography, and anything needlessly disgusting. The latter point is subject to interpretation.

-Please try to be polite. This is more of a guideline than a rule. Not to say you can't be negative or judgemental, just try not to be insulting.

-No spam. This includes needless posts or topics such as quick agreements without backing, such as "Yeah", and pointless topics, such as "I'm bored." When in doubt, don't.

-No illegal material. You know, like drug dealing and stuff.

-Try to post topics in their appropriate forum. If you're not sure, say so and a staff member will check and see what they can do. Check to see if another topic pertaining to the same subject has already been created. If it has, bring up your point in that topic. Any excess topic will be deleted ASAP.

-Please keep your posts at least readable. I cannot stand when someone's posts don't have grammar and proper spelling and if I see a post like that don't blame me if I edit your post and slip in some legibility. Most people don't have this problem, but if you do, please run your posts through spell (and grammar!) check first.

-Admins reserve the right to alter the rules as we see fit.

-Not a rule r guideline, but I should mention here that any coments/questions/complaints/suggestions can be PM'd to me or another Admin or brought up in a topic on the forum.

-These rules apply to all members, including those who didn't read them.

Don't worry if these rules seem a bit hard to follow, we're pretty empathetic.
If you would like to have a rule added or reconsidered, please state your point of view either in the Suggestion Box for public discussion or PM an Adminstrator or Moderator about it and they will be obligated to bring it up to the rest for discussion and consideration with other staff members.

*Failure to follow these rules can get you banned, in extreme cases. (Warnings will be delivered if an Admin thinks you've been breaking the rules with regularity.)
