Hi dear Javewu,
I saw your post in twtaoism.net and knew that both your Chinese and English are perfect, so, did you ever plan to translate any Taoist scriptures into English? if you do, it will benefit lots of people, I believe. |

Dear Bro, I have tried to do that, but was advised by a High Priest not too, so at the moment, I tried not too, only certain sentences or phrases that I find worth sharing with the others, I will make a simple translation |

Dear Tao Bro, Not that bcos we dont want to share our knowledge with the others on Scripture, but bcos it's forbidden in all Chinese related Religions. Reasons: Different ppl will have different understanding on the Scriptures (according to one's self-cultivation level or education level). Once we do the translations and the people who read and take it as a standard form of explanation for the Scriptures (which later we found out that it might have different meaning), we might be making some serious mistakes, etc. So, we prefer ppl to read it first, and then digest and make sure oneself understand it and then make enquiries, we can only make our comments or do preachings when ever the person is in dilemma, etc. |
