A basic "pack" meeting.
This is a rank give-away for those who don't have ranks.X3
|
The territory was silent at the time. Or at least this part of the territory was silent. The sun was blazing against the rubble and pieces of sidewalks that were scattered. It was nearly an inferno at the time. No worries, the sun was slowly going down and in a matter of time night would settle and it would be peaceful. This was very close to being an unbearable hell, but Aaliyah had been through worse before. This was just fine to her.
There was a slight snarl upon the face of the wolfess. Her elegant body shifted as she walked forward. Her nostrils fumed with scents. She sighed deeply and continued to wander forward. She was calling a pack meeting to gather the wolves who needed their proper ranks.
She was not at the most pleasant mood at the time, so it was best not to push her buttons. Her paws pressed against the ground and she looked over at a large boulder. The boulder was semi-flat but still had its rough edges. Her eyes squinted and then off she was. She reclined upon her haunches on the flat part. Her head arose quite proudly. She was holding her proper high rank. She then flexed a bit and yawned.
She was not very certain on what she should do, so she sat there for a moment. Her black pelt slightly ruffled as a warm breeze passed by. Concentration my dear, the voice came into her mind. She gave a demanding growling sound hoping the others would hear. The sound increased as the female got a bit antsy. She paused after a few moments.
This pack was for the rank-less members at the time. Aaliyah wanted to see what the wolves were capable and work from there. She was hoping they members were not slackers or anything of the sort. This would all work out if they stayed out of her way. She was a bit angry for no reason whatsoever; it could have been the heat. Now all she had to do was wait, patiently, and patience was not one of her traits at all.
ooc; Horrible post.x_x;; Being rushed.I'm doing a project and cleaning up the house at the same time.

It was very warm today, it had been all year round since the climate had changed dramatically. Empathy hated the warm weather, but she got used to it as the days crept by. Her fur was longer than most, but it kept her cool for some reason. She had adapted and changed with her surroundings. It was her first time out and about exploring her new packlands, she wanted to meet with the alpha to see about her rank. She could see herself being in beta, but the alpha didn't trust her all too well yet, so she'd have to hope for that one. She had been the beta of her last pack, a pack of twenty four other wolves, were they ever hard to control. She shook her head, remebering those days. It wasn't too hard surviving, they managed, it was just hard to keep them all happy and in line.
She had let Malaise and Roman out by themselves for the day, but made them stay in call range. She thought they'd be happy to be out by themselves, bot having their mother hounding them all the time. She loved those two puppies to death, she kill herself before she let harm touch, or come near to either of them. They were growing, faster and faster each day. She couldn't believe her eyes when she looked at them sometimes. She smiled proudly at her job of raising them so far. This pack seemed nice and cozy, small too. That's the reason she had let them out of her sight for today. Everything just felt so safe and peaceful, she loved that feeling. She did not know why, she wondered what they were doing right now. Probably getting themselves into trouble and what not.
She swung her head up quickly ears pressed forwards. A call had been sounded for all the pack members to come join. It was probably her new alpha, she wondered what she had wanted. She shrugged, hopefully it was about their ranks. Empathy turned and looked around and lifted her own muzzle towards the sky to call on her two children to come with her. After she let out the howl she turned and dashed off through the buildings and woods following the howl. Everything rushed by her so quickly. Adrenaline pumped through her body, she was excited to settle down, start a new family. She slowed her pace as she got closer from where she had pinpointed exactly where the call had came from. She slowed her pace to a fast jog before reaching her alpha.
Empathy dropped her tail and her head, creeping up next to the alpha to lick her chin. She nodded a greeting before backing off of her to wait for other members to show. The black and white female knew her place and line, even though not exactly, she knew she was below the alpha. Hopefully she would lay to claim to the beta posistion soon, help keep the pack in check. She sighed blue eyes wandering around keeping an eye out for her two children. She hoped they'd show soon, because if they didn't she'd have to excuse herself and run to find and check on them. She looked up at the alpha, asking her a question. "Good afternoon, I'm Empathy incase you had forgotten, I was wondering why you had called the pack together for today? she asked gently, not wanting to push the alphas bad mood. She understood those days, all too well. She offered a comforting smile, her large phisique showed great promise and power towards the pack. She was bigger than most females; wolves in general. She would take her place high in the chain, no one could overpower.. well barely anyone. The alpha probably could, but she didn't know. She sat and waited for an answer from the fey.

Corey often made his way towards nowhere in particular. This brujo usually never had a set destination, he was often found roaming and wandering in hope of finding something interesting to do with his life which he seemed to be wasting at the moment. But not since he had met a certain ebony she-wolf earlier on that day. She was an alpha of some sort, of a pack that was forming within these strange lands... He was more than happy to join, if he was to be accepted. And right at the minute he was following her scent which was very dominating over the other smells that were floating around in the atmosphere like lost ghosts. His nostrils flared, filling with all sorts of different fragrances, yet still could he make out the female wolf's personal mark. And so it wasn't much trouble finding her. Besides, he heard her call, her snarl which was full of impatience and demand. She mustn't be in the greatest of moods... To be quite honest, neither was Corey. He was all hot and bothered, for he really was not used to such heat. The weather around these parts was tremendously inconvenient to a wolf of his nature... Oh how he wished to feel rain or snow. But he knew that was highly unlikely. But he knew that night would soon fall upon the lands and with it it would bring a blanket of coolness.
When the large brute laid eyes upon the alpha for the second time, he lowered his head in a courteous fashion, lowering himself as to not look so large. He knew how to show submission and respect. He nodded to the other present female, who was of course a complete stranger to him. He looked her up and down, a quick study on his account for his own reasons. He was sure he would get a chance to get to know her and Aaliyah soon enough. He returned his attention to his new alphess who was perched upon a boulder of sorts. "M'lady." He stated politely, a warm grin gracing his maw yet his eyes were set serious and hard. He did not know why she had called and what was going to happen, but he was sure that she would explain when the others, how many others there was he had no idea, arrived so he presumed that there was not much point in asking. And so it was all up to patience really, something he was blessed with, even when stuck in such heat.

-slides in- Eee, sorry for the wait everyone. ^^; I'm changing things around with little Zephy' for a bit, so don't mind me. Anyway, lets get this thing started, shall we? :]

For this particular late afternoon, the sun was just terrible. Then again, everyday was terrible to Zephyr. One could actually see the heat billow up from the asphalt that resembled one huge frying pan. Fortunantly the creatures who lived in such a harsh enviroment like this evolved an extra layer of thick padding on their paws. Or at least one hoped so. Padding through the sizziling late afternoon, Zephyr was wandering about the claimed territories of Main Street. With the past couple of days spent in her little makeshift home in a rundown Bakery by the petshop, the sable MacKenzie grew tired of being cooped up in an oven atmosphere of a building. Where was there to escape from all of this? Nowhere. The Bakery building had been rennovated into her little escape, a somewhat shelter away from everyone else and the heat (even though it didn't help too much on the heat factor). Though Zephyr clearly understood that all of Main Street was held in control by Aaliyah, she couldn't help but be a little protective of her Bakery "den". It had a lot of useful resources, and in truth Zephyr wasn't willing for her small abode to be overriden by strangly mutts on the street. Anyone was welcome in, but they had better respect the Hunter's private space.
Her neck hung low, coal snout sniffing at the hot ground below her. Another reason why Zephyr was out and about at this moment was because Aaliyah summoned for a pack meeting. Woo, fun. Not really. Daytime traveling wasn't her thing, not even at the twilight hour. Ah well. Her childhood friend was a strange one to her, but then again...the black wolfess had strange rituals of her own. No doubt in mind that Zephyr knew Aaliyah wouldn't call a pack meeting unless it was of dire concern. She figured she would stop sniffin' around and get her tail moving before the Alphaess wouldn't be too impressed by a member who was late to the meeting. A bland smile spread on her black maw, knowing how impatient she could get. Her claws clicked upon the desert like ground as her citrine sights focused ahead. Nostrils flared, smelling the scent of her Alphaess and also of two who were unknown to her. New bloods.
It was then her paws brought her to the site of the meeting. Her brilliant eyes spotted Aaliyah and two other unknown faces. Hm. Immediately her paws slowed into a bouncy trot, then naturally sauntered over next to Aaliyah, where she stopped. Ebon lobes quickly flattened, her figure bowing down in submission and respect to the other femme. Her tail semi-tucked, only giving a quick flicker of friendliness and her tongue slipping forth from her sable jowls to issue a friendly lick next to her chin. It was rare to see even the most subtle of smiles appearing on Zephyr's visage, but this was her Alphaess and puppyhood friend, how could she not smile? It pulled back on her leathery maw to give a somewhat toothy grin. It had been awhile since she saw Aaliyah. "Greetings, Aaliyah. How do you fair this afternoon? It has been awhile since we last saw eachother. You summoned for a pack meeting?" Her golden eyes lit up with a bit of life. Zephyr was pleased to see Aaliyah again, and was wondering what she had been up to. Noticing the slight irritation Aaliyah had with impatience, that small smile stayed on her maw, all knowing of her impatience. Inked hind legs settled in a sit not too far from Aaliyah. For a moment her eyes briefly shifted over to the other female and male present. With her smile still on her muzzle, she gave a silent nod of greeting. One inked wolven brow, however, raised in quuet question. Was this the whole pack so far? There had to be more, no? If there were, they had better pick up the pace.

This is for Roman, sorry wrong account (:When the call sounded, he hurried to his mother, following close behind her. Malaise was somewhere behind him or infront of their mother, Roman was not quite sure. His gray eyes were planted firmly on his mothers forepaws as he padded up beside her. He did not know why had been called but his mother was sure into going. So Roman would just shut his mouth and join along, hoping that this infact the thing that needed to be done. The puppy slowed down a bit, keeping his mother in view while doing so. He did not want to get lost at all and the pack leader was calling everyone. Humming a tune in his head, the male carried on proudly. The family of three had not been here for a long period of time nor had they met a lot of fellow pack members.
Hi thurr. His voice was drowned in puppy talk, something which Roman hated. They had arrived at the place where the gathering would take place. Sitting himself next to his mother, he leaned against her, resting his muzzle in her fur. I Roman, he added, giving a small grin. Now Malaise would arrive... or would she? Maybe she ditched it and went off to explore. If she did so, it was her loss, Roman would get credit for it. Grinning even more, he sighed gently. This was going to be a very fun way to spend his day. Roman didn't mind, he was with his mother and he loved her dearly.
