Welcome to New York City, year 2096, after Global Warming. New York is no longer a home to humans, though some still linger. No, it is now home to the canine's of the world. Wolves, coyotes and dogs make their home here, trying to survive as the City changes rapidly. There are still streets that guide one forward, but strangely enough forests have started to grow in the middle of streets. Rivers are being produced out of nowhere, running through alley's. Skyscrapers are now home to packs, trying to survive. Other animals make their home here, deers and birds.
Global Warming finally came, bringing death to many. Surviving animals were pushed into cities to survive, some feeding on their own breed or humans. This is where the tables turn. There are few humans left in the City, most of them hidden away, afraid of the creatures that live above. The air has cooled down a bit but still is pretty warm, the creature's coats have adapted to the sudden heat, fur cut short.
Most of the humans had tried to flee, hoping - or wishing - that'd they would be spared. Many humans died from the extreme heat, unable to get away to cooler land. Currently, most of the humans live in the Arctic lands, where the animals inhabit the middle land. New York City, a once buzzing city with humans and technology, is now covered with grass, moss, trees, rivers and any other wildlife terrian. Though the stores and tall buildings still stand tall, maybe even a few cars parked here and there, the animals call it their home.
