Well this is the Interviews and Magazines thread. Post any interviews or magazine articles you've found involving AFI, obviously. So here are a few to start. I'll add more when I have the time. Enjoy! (:

AFI in Kerrang: 1 2 3
AFI in Alternative Press: 1 2 3 4 5
AFI in Blunt: 1 2 3
AFI in Revolver: 1 2 3

Edit: Most of these articles I found on Gaiaoline.com in the AFI guild.
{ I do hope I made this thread in the right place. If not, please move it. }

This is what the article was. The one that no one can read because the picture is small:

Davey Havok

1. Favorite CD
Gnarls Barkley- St. Elsewhere
My favorite CD to come out of late is "St. Elsewhere" by Gnarls Barkley. It feels to me a bit like DJ Shadow with strong, bluesy vocal lines that Moby would love to sample. Beats and blues, what else do you need?

2. Favorite "Product"
Hamadi Leave-In Conditioner
Hamadi Leave-In Conditioner keeps the puff out. No animals are harmed in the flattening of my hair, plus, the product smells like Froot Loops.

3. Favorite Gadget
Sidekick
Some may say that I am the favorite gadget of my sidekick but do not believe this. Our relationship is quite symbiotic.

4. Favorite Book
Glamorama- Bret Easton Ellis
Though I'm not finished, I'm in the midst of one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a long time- Ellis' Glamorama. Th esetting, the plot, the characters and the dialogue are all fantastic. Victor is the perfect "It" boy.

5. Favorite Game
Group Slap
One of my favorite games involves getting a group of friends and smacking each other in the face. When done in public, especially if there's couples involving guy and girl slapping, it can be quite a good time. Everybody wins!

Hunter

1. Favorite CD
Fugazi- Repeater
This is actually the only CD I own. You see, I usually only buy vinyl, but my friend gave this to me in high school. Don't misunterstand me though... I love Fugazi.

2. Favorite "Product"
Soap and Water
I don't know if a day goes by that I don't use soap and water. It's really quite versatile. I can use it on my head, on my hands, on my car... even on my cat!

3. Favorite Piece of Clothing
Pant
I'm really into the pant. I can't buy just one! (they come in pairs, usually.) I'll put on a pant or two any time I want to hit the town in style. (By "hit the town in style," I mean not get arrested for public indecency.)

4. Favorite Gadget
My sidekick
This guy joins me on all of my crimefighting endeavors. Some would like to criticize him for his choice of cape and boots, but I can assure you, dear readers, his heart is as pure as snow. Wherever evil deeds are taking place in this world, you can bet that my sidekick and I will be there to put a stop to it... or we're at least pretty cloe by, stuck in traffic.

5. Favorite Book
"How to Read a Book" by Mortimer J. Adler and Charles Van Doren
It took me some time to figure out how to open this book, and even then I wasn't quite sure what to do with all the words in front of me... but let me tell you, after finishing this book, I have a much greater appreciation for things like the library and Barnes and Noble.

6. Favorite Game
Hungry Hungry Hippos
These fuckers haven't eaten in a while, and now they're beyond hungry... they've reached the critical "hungry hungry" sdtate. In order to ensure the survival of these colorful beasts, one must feed the famished hippopotami the white plastic balls they desperately crave.

Adam

1. Favorite CD
Dear You- Jawbreaker
The most important record to me in and for the last ten years is "Dear You" by Jawbreaker. Songs like "Accident Prone" and "Jet Black" feel as melancholy yet cathartic as they did the first time I threw the disc on in '95 and I'm still looking for a house party in SF as bitching as the one described in "Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault."

2. Favorite Book
Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne
Possibly the funniest book I've read since Catch-22, Youth in Revolt chronicles the adventures of Nick Twisp and his successes and failures in love and life. It's set in my hometown of Ukiah as well...

3. Favorite Clothing
1960's Levi's 501's
In a world full of knock-offs and reproductions, actually finding a pair of O.G. A Line 501's from the early '60's is a feat in and of itself. Finding a pair that actuallt fits your ass well is nearly impossible. Patched everywhere, full of holes and definitely on their last legs, my tailor literally rolls his eyes whenever I walk through the door with these jeans.

4. Favorite Gadget
Sonicare Electric Toothbrush
Not to reveal too much of my personal OCD but god damn! Thsi toothbrush cleans those little fuckers so well! Thanks to Sonicare I think I have the cleanest teeth in rock!

5. Favorite Game
The Pusher
Yahtzee? Monopoly? Is there a name for that game where one person kneels behind someone and another person pushes the unsuspecting mark over their back?

Jade

1. Favorite CD
Refused- The Shape of Punk To Come
An amazing leap forward in the punk and hardcore genre that showed a whole generation of bands the possibility of progress through experimentation.

2. Favorite "Product"
Kiehl's Silk Groom
It's a leave-in conditioner, and after trying countless hair products, this is the best secret weapon to tame thick and crazy hair. Combine this with a flat iron and you're unstoppable.

3. Favorite Gadget
Definitely my Sidekick
Being on tour it's the ultimate device to keep connected through e-mail, instant message, etc. I sound like a commercial.

4. Favorite Book
The House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski
It's a damn creepy read, one of the weirdest books I've ever read and authentically scary.

5. Favorite Game
Heroes of Might and Magic IV, Homey.
People may make fun of me every time they walk by my laptop and see me playing it, but it's worth it.

6. Favorite piece of clothing
My houndstooth scarf
You can wear it with a blazer, a jean jacket, or with a t-shirt and people will be straight flockin'!

and a freaking RAD COVER of Drum! Magazine with Adam's sexy sexy self on it:
