We will be having a new feature this season as well called very un-uniquely, NBL Sunday Night Baseball. That's right, beginning this season, every Sunday night, we will have a doubleheader gamecast for our "games of the week". In the first ten weeks of the season, each team will get a chance to host one of these games, and then after that we'll pick the games by flex scheduling a week prior to. I've been trying to figure the best way to get gamecasts better into the regular season, and since Sunday is the laziest day of the week, it makes sense to try it this way.

Alright team, this is the start of the season, the start of the rebirth of the Dragonkillers. This is our first game tonight and i'm getting the chills walking out here with you guys on historic Wars Field. I've had quite a few battles here in my heyday, and i'm sure they still aren't fond of me, so this has alot of meaning to us. Nothing like a huge rivalry to start off the new chapter in our saga. This will be the first of our many showdowns with the Orange Star Generals, let's make sure we start this off right. See that barren fence out there in right field? I'd love to see property of Bern emblazoned there, but it won't come easy. They are a talented team. I feel we have alot of talent here too, but talent doesnt get you glory, we have to work hard, with the work ethic this franchise is known for. It will be a long season, but we need to keep up the work throughout the entire season. Nothing less than your best work will be accepted here, but that is the only thing i ask of you. Work your hardest and what comes to us, comes to us. At the end of the day, we can't be regretful if we know we gave it our best. Now Protoman, you get the opening day ball. I know they will be trotting out Elecman tonight, which will be quite a, no pun intended, electric matchup. I know you won't back down from such a challenge. Show them that you are the O.G. of robots for a reason.

Well, it looks like a start to another season, and I'll be honest I really like our chances this season, I'm really confident with this team. I haven't been this confident with a team in a long time. We've got five great pitchers, and we've got a solid bullpen and a great closer. We've got a solid all around offense with great contact hitters and power threats to bring in all those runs. I feel like we're going to go all the way and I think we'll be winning A LOT. We're going to have fun this season too, don't expect things to ever get too serious here, I expect you to work hard and play your best but in no way will I be asking for you to do anything more than that. If I can see your best effort I'll be proud of you, but if I see you slack don't expect the playing time because you won't deserve it, I've got plenty of players that will happily fill in your spot. I don't expect any of you to have that happen though, this is baseball and there's no reason I should have to worry about anyone, because this is a fun game, it's a difficult game, but it's fun. So let's start of this season strong in front of our sold out crowd.

We've got Emil on the mound looking to start off another great season and the line up will be put up after I'm done, let's just go out there, pitch great, back up that great pitching with a bunch of runs and come out of here with a win.

Well, we had a disappointing end to last season, team. I haven't really been here for the past couple of seasons, but I'm back now. We've still got most of the team that managed to make it to the NWS 3 seasons ago, and I don't see any reason we can't make it back there again. That journey starts tonight.

Anyways, alright guys, opening day. Huge game against the Dragon Killers. This is a new era for this team. You guys were the first dynasty. And now I want you to be the next. We have the pieces. Now we just need to put forth the effort. I am fully confident in this team. It will be a very tough year, the toadstool league just got much harder. And our division will be back to that 3 team race between the Dragon Killers, Pokemon, and us. But I'm confident.

Also, I'm sticking with my same philosophy I had at Yoster Isle. No hotspots. This is a team. We work as a team. I don't want one player winning it for us. I want the whole team winning it together. This may be unorthodox, your previous manager certainly didn't do that, but I plan to.

Elecman, I know its been rough without a manager, but you have been one of the best pitchers in the NBL for a while. This is an offense with a lot of power, so you'll have to be careful. Control will be very important here, and while I know that isn't necessarily your specialty, I know you got enough command to overpower them and outsmart them. You got this.

Alright guys and girls, you know what day it is, it's opening day. It's the opening of a brand new season. Everybody's undefeated. Everybody's fat, happy, and ready to embark on a new journey of wonder and excitement.

To nobody's surprise, the schedulemakers have us starting this journey against our rivals from Yoshi's Island. Just remember that this is just one game, it counts for one just like all the other games in the season. There's no need to work yourself up unnecessarily. As opposed to jumping up and down and head-banging and all that jazz, I'd rather we do a little bit of that every day for 100 games. Be always vigilant out there, when the opponent is down or loses focus for a play or two, that's when you have to take the extra base, and make the hustle play to get the advantage.

I'm tossing Princess Peach out there to start the season. Peach, Astros isn't here anymore, but a newcomer takes his place. No need to go all crazy like last year, just use your knowledge of the opponent and pitch well. Offense, we're expecting more out of all of you this season, and it starts tonight.

The boos from the AW crowd cast down on him, and then he reveals his hand with his four championship rings, kisses his fist and raises it to the crowd, with the boos raining down even more furiously with YD bowing to the crowd. He then goes over to Astros to shake his friends hand*

I think ill take you up on your wager. Loser of this series has to emblazon "Property of" the other team on their outfield wall for the rest of the season

Whoa, wait, we're on national television and it's the early game. Shoot, I better make this quick then. Team, we're up against Tethealla, our primary rivals seeing as half their guys fled the coup just to stack their team with home-grown guys. People like Lloyd and Colette and Emil, who started their careers here and just packed up and left. Let it be known that I don't like the Thrashers one bit. Beat them.
