Metroid Zero (For Wii)
Ok, Samus, chasing a rogue ship, ends up following it to an unknown planet. The atmosphere is rough, and she crashes. She's fine, but her ship and her suit are damaged. She gets out and only has her emergency pistol with her.
It can kill people, but its still weak. Its best used as a saber, like in Brawl. But, the main way to gain an advantage, is to use stealth. For example, you can hide against a wall with an enemy walking your way. As he walks by, you trip him then shoot him. Stealth is one of your best weapons
Eventually you find a wrist blaster type thing, that shoots small missiles from your wrist. Not as strong as the Prime missiles, but they are stronger than your pistol. And, eventually you find power ups for your pistol. Like a charge shot, stuff to make it stronger, and stuff to make it shoot more rapid
You eventually find a machine gun, though it has limited ammo. You can find ammo along the way
About 75% in, you finally repair your suit. So, for the end of the game you use it. And the last boss is a bitch. Hes freakin hard
The game would be a third person shooter. When you enter shooting mode, it goes in to an over-the-shoulder view (Think GRAW, RE4, Splinter Cell). For a stealth game, third person is best suited IMO
Anyways, you start with three modes of play
Easy- For the casual gamers, very easy
Normal- Much harder. The game on Normal is harder than most games
Hard- A little bit harder. More enemies and stuff
And, once you beat normal or hard, you unlock this...
Insane- You play the whole game with your zero suit. And so, the last boss is REALLY a bitch. You don't get a machine gun until after the part where you are supposed to get the suit, because enemies get much harder here.
And theres many secrets you can find to add replay value. Theres these tokens hidden that unlock stuff, like you can change the color of the zero suit, play the whole game with the power suit, get machine gun in beginning, etc. You can't find these on easy mode. And, theres even more of them on Insane mode
You can also use your saber as a grappling hook, and not too far in you learn to use it to grab enemies and sling them against a wall.
I can explain controls later, but sound cool so far? Oh, BTW, when you get your suit, it still stays in 3rd person.
