We're getting rid of the Hogwarts. Professors are collateral damage (sorry).

Ministry is getting restructured. We are keeping three departments. I think this will allow for more mingling within each department and between each department.

* First, only three members should go under each Ministry department. Once all three departments have three members, keep filling until we have five per department. Then we may begin expanding, making more departments.

Well ill be in international magical cooperation. I hate to be a b**ch but I dont really see like how it would hurt to have all of the real departments?

Could we do like a poll or something? I know we want to attract more people to RDA and people are definitley more likely to go to a site with a complete ministry. Having this kind of ministry sort of makes us look like a crippled site. Just my opinion.

Jean, this is just the way it's gonna be for right now. Once/if we get more loyal members we can add departments. Your character can always be transferred to another department later on. We will try to make this clear in our topics for new registering members so a small ministry and missing Hogwarts does not make them pass over us.

Once I can put a coherent thought together, I'll respond to you, Jean. If we can get more loyal members, even three, we'll be able to expand the Ministry. This is how I suspect the site will work the best.

And it gives us immediate roleplays. We have departments, and members in our departments. We can now roleplay with each other easily.

Ya and i totally understand that. Im just trying to picture myself as a HP fan looking for an RP site. Would i want to go to RDA or one of the bigger more active sites? You know?

I wish we had all the departments but I get why we don't and think it's smart but I also agree with Jean. I just think we need to get ourselves out there any way we can to get more members so we can make this the best site we can.

People aren't going to look at each thread. They're going to see if there are roleplays. If we can get those going, we should be fine. We get new members, we expand. More jobs open up.

We need to focus on increasing activity if we are ever going to get new, active members and flourish.

So I guess youve already emailed all the past members and what not? Have you put us on other sites in thier affiliates section? Because when I join a new site I tend to see if theres anything interesting in thier affiliates forum, and all of our affiliates aren't that active so if you found a site that is just exploding with activity see if you can sneak our name in their.

Sorry, Bill. We have regrettably cut that department for the time being.

You can be a Daily Prophet writer, a St. Mungo's Healer, or an employee in the one of the three Ministry departments listed in the first post (Accidents/Catastrophes, International Magical Cooperation, or Magical Law Enforcement).

If our members can actively post for a week or so, we may be on our way to expanding the Ministry.

Bill- If you are returning back to the site, please pick one of the above listed jobs. I know your current position is not listed, but once we get more members back we're gonna add more positions and you can always change back. I'm really sorry about this.
