Seagate HDD RMA, straight to singapore, no fees

ito yung link para ma-verify nyo kung pasok sa warranty ang hdd nyo..

fill up the forms na lang for rma registration.

after that, print out the return order form.. check nyo na lang yung packaging rules nila.. pero mostly ito yung kailangan..

clam shell(the plastic shells of seagate when bought)

be sure na dala nyo yung return order form kapag dadalhin nyo or ipapadeliver

yan.. basta gawan nyo lang ng paraan na hindi magkakaron ng physical damage sa delivery..

hindi pwede yung may physical damage at tampered yung silver thingy dun sa gilid ng HDD..

at kung sinuswerte kayo.. pwede pang mas malaking capacity ng hdd ang bumalik sa inyo! hehe..

dun pa rin po sa fritz logistics.. nagtry po ako ngayon kasi nagcclick ulit yung pina-rma ko.. ibabalik ko bukas.. hindi ko nakita yung site na ibinigay mo dun sa seagate.. click mo yung link sa taas tapos enter mo yung s/n and model # ng hdd mo for warranty.. then click mo yung create rma.. tapos ayun fill up lang.. tapos sa billing ang piliin mo is fritz logistics..

ok na bro. thanks. papa rma mo ulit yung replacement drive mo? :confused:

i filed an RMA, got the number and stuff, kaso i think i have a few problems..

1-> may bad sector na ung hard disk ko =(
does that count as physical damage?

2-> di ako complete sa mga requirements, so far all i have is the anti-static bag. yung foam saka clam shell naitapon ko na, tapos i don't remember the store giving me a seagate box.

mapro-process pa rin kaya to?

ma proprocess yan. yung akin din anti static plastic lang and foam tapos may 4kb in bad sectors tinganggap naman. natangap ko na email from seagate singapore na pinadala na nila replacement harddrive sakin. :aversion:

update ko lang kaka receive ko nung akin. 80gb sata naging 80gb sata parin. hehe.

yup ako si arkady ng tpc.. hehe! pano mo nalaman?
uu pina rma ko ulit kasi nagcclick nanaman.. hindi yata kinaya ng psu ko.. kaya nga pinalitan ko na ng hec 480 acepower.. ayaw ko na ng generic PSUs.. hehehe!

yup mapprocess yan.. kaya lang need yung ganun sa packaging kasi para hindi masiraan physically yung hdd during transportation..

kadalasan na navovoid ang warranty if may burn marks or butas yung silver sa side or sa ilalim.

had my 80gb sata (replacement drive) RMAed last monday (5/5/08) kasi nagkaron na naman ng bad sectors due to improper shutdowns. checked my mail for confirmation and based sa model number nung ipapalit nilang drive mukang 160gb sata ang ipapadala ng seagate singapore. yipee! woot! woot! il keep you guys posted and will also post pics of the harddrive as soon as dumating dito sa bahay.
