It’s time for the finals of the DOTA tournament between Team Finest and Team KE. Lineups for the respective teams were as follows. Team Finest – Mirana, Nevermore, Omniknight. Team KE – Sven, Rooftrellen, Queen of Pain. Since only two teams registered, there was only one match and it was the finals. During the starting minutes of the game Team Finest seemed to have technical difficulties and were disconnected two times before the 15 minute mark and thus the game had to be remade. We gave a warning to Team Finest that if they were disconnected again they would be disqualified.

During the game both teams seemed to be on equal footing but something happens. LAG strikes and both teams suffer deaths due to lag. It was then agreed by both teams that every 15 minutes to change hosts because the lag was to unbearable. It was very weird because whenever a member from Team KE hosted the game Team Finest lagged. But when Team Finest hosted the game Team KE lagged. We even tried hosting the game but it was even worse for both teams and the save game option was not allowed for an observer.

The early minutes of the game, both teams were both determined to creep block and were fairly successful. Minutes passed and finally the 1st blood of the match was drawn. Team KE’s Queen of pain was struck by a shot from Mirana’s bow and was killed. But during the commotion Team KE’s Sven made a comeback and took down Team Finest’s Nevermore. After a while Team Finest seemed to have problems and was constantly being gangbanged by Team KE. During the 1st clash of the game in the middle lane Team KE took down all three members of Team Finest with the help Team KE’s Rooftrellen’s double overgrowth skill and was successful in pushing the middle lane. The rest of the game was uneventful, nothing out of the ordinary happened. That is not until the dying minutes of the game. After 50 minutes of gameplay 2 of Team Finest’s members got disconnected leaving only their Nevermore to fend for himself. But even though Nevermore was alone he was no pushover. His items were close to godlike(2 butterfly, threads, hyperstone, satanic, buriza) and was easily keeping up with the members of Team KE. Good thing for Team KE though that they were able to push all three lanes during the time and it was suddenly a race to the throne/tree. Before the throne was destroyed Team KE’s Queen of Pain and Sven went back to defend and was able to kill Nevermore one last time with the help of stuns and the guinsoo item of Queen of Pain. A few seconds after that the game ended with Team KE’s win.
