as for me, the premise that Jesus married Magdalene is only logical kasi sa time period nga noon, all men are required by law to be married at around 20+ years old. eh, wala nmang ginawang explaination kung bakit single pa c Jesus at that time, which is abnomal. :huh:

anyway, it's a really good book. if you're faith isn't strong enough, syempre your whole belief system ay masisira and you fear that you will lose your faith. it's not the book it's you, because you were weak. /e5

It was an interesting plot. I do not know if I should believe it. But if I do, He will still be my God. And I will not yield my faith. :)

IMO, theres no harm in reading the book despite what many people say. kxe, u would be able to make a better decision naman if u know both sides of the story dba? we know what the church teaches us, other side lng cguro ung thoughts sa da vinci code. perhaps wild imagination lang ni Dan Brown. but as a critic, his ideas make sense dba? the way the story flowed, it made sense.

Dann Brown is such a great author. He based on facts and he input his own ideas in it to make the plot better. And about Mary Magdalene, I don't believe in it. But if we base on the book per se, it is factual because we will only base on the text. If we go out in its bounds, certainly not true.

Before things can be called as facts, evidences are needed and investigations should be conducted. :lol:

Navi Navi Navi, you are quite wrong there. The Bible has many versions becuse of one thing, man's perspective. Every man has his own perspective of the Bible and that is why there are many religions to suit their own perspective. There is no wrong religion becuase it all depends on your own perspective and not belief. The way we understand the bible becomes our own belief. You have to also take note the historical background of the people who made the Bible, remmeber they thought at first the world was flat and God made a dome on this flat surface from where man lives as the sky, sun and moon. That was how the people then percieved the world then and that is why the bible is outdated.

I too do not have a religion but I have great respect for all because their teachings have great meaning if you read it in a deeper manner. We can learn from religions on how we should live our lives.

Again, the Bible should not be shunned for bieng outdated, there is a historical reason for it and when you know its historical background, you will then understand what is written in there.

Did you know that Jesus christ was the greatest scandal of their times? because he claims to be God's only son and he has proven it to be with his way of life. He did nothing wrong so that is why the Jews could not kill him. The highest punishment a Jew can give to Blasphemy was Stoned to death but Jesus spoke of the truth yets they were afraid to lose their credibility with the people because Jesus would show the corruption. Instead, Jesus was tried politically with the Romans and their highest form of punishment was Crucifixion.

We also have to take note that Jesus himself was a Jew and he, like any other man during those times, had the same limited knowledge of the world and his culture was the culture of the Jews. He also thought that the world was flat also and he based his teachings within his own society and culture. What matters is how jesus had lived his life. I hope you guys would understand alittle bit about the bible.

Who ever believes in Da Vinci code as truth is one very dumb@ss person! The book is based on facts and historical relics and events but Dan just used these facts to play with our intellect and hence this book is one of the best mind tingling read of this generation. Only some one with no education would have changed their faith after reading this book.
