Have you guys ever think that maybe it happened another way? Here's How I think it went down: Paul was in a crash and ruined his face. John didn't want people to be turned away by Paul's face so he fired him and hired a lookalike.

Judging from the picture of that guy in the car crash, I don't think anyone could survive having their head blown open like that. And besides, doesn't one of the lyrics say "We took him to a surgeon, there was nothing they could do"?
