As noted earlier today, Bobby Roode was originally scheduled to win the TNA World heavyweight title at this past Sunday's TNA Bound for Glory PPV.

According to a report on PWInsider, Hulk Hogan actually lobbied to have the finish changed, feeling that Roode was not ready to hold the title.

Hogan had said as much during an appearance on SiriusXM last week, stating, "He's [Roode] not ready... He's not the next guy. Ya' know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He's not the next guy."

The report also stated that there was backstage heat on Hogan for recently criticizing AJ Styles on Twitter after Styles missed the TNA Fan Interaction event on Saturday due to a death in his family. Apparently, talent are joking about wanting to be transferred to Jeff Jarrett's new India project.

Funny part is Jeff Hardy threw his shirt to the crowd and a fan threw it back at Hardy. - Abyss defeated Gunner via count-out. - Gail Kim returns to TNA as a heel enforcer for Karen Angle. - Eric Bischoff is double crossed by his son, referee Garrett Bischoff. - James Storm defeated Kurt Angle in a short match. Fortune celebrated with storm and celebrated with fans.

Legend Group: Members Posts: 554 Member No.: 234 Joined: Jun 2006	Yea that makes perfect sense TNA, spend a couple of months building up Roode as the next champion, then at the last minute randomly decide to give it to Storm instead... Thats not really the way to win ratings --------------------
