I used to watch Sheamus a bit when Irish Whip Wrestling was on TV a few years ago and used to wonder how he'd do in WWE, so was pleased to see him join
Am now wondering what other people think of him. I think hes done pretty well so far but maybe that because I want him to be doing well lol
So, what do you think of Sheamus?

the celtic warrior bit won't take him to a title. He'll need to change up his persona to go above mid card.

He's ok. I haven't really formed much of an opinion about him yet either way. I know Triple H is high on him and works out with him, so that can only help.

I really dig Sheamus! Im suprised they bumped him to RAW so soon though. I thought he would at least get a crack at the ECW belt first...

I do think he needs a new finisher though... that backbreaker just doesn't cut the mustard IMO.

ANyone else suprised to see Lance Hoyt in WWE!? Hope he does better than Wildcat Chris Harris...

Not seen Hoyt there yet, hope he does well, still don't know why TNA let him go at the time they were bringing in the likes of Shane Douglas! :chair:

I wasn't surprised to see Hoyt/"Vance Archer", as I'd heard that he was in the WWE's developmental territory. I *WAS* surprised to see that they made him cut his hair short and shave his beard off. His look was what set him apart, in my opinion.

Sheamus has a ton of upside, but I fear his association with Triple H is the reason he's moving up so fast. He's got the build, the heavyweight wrestling styles and decent mic skills though, so you can't take that away from him. I read somewhere that his destruction to Jamie Noble was a rip-off of an old Vader stunt used in WCW to put him over. Regardless, Sheamus could be a contender in the next couple years if WWE uses him right.

It looks like Sheamus in now getting a big push with his PPV match with Cena. Meanwhile, Jack Swagger looks like he is getting de-pushed.
