Thi is more of which PPV have you had the most fun watching? Not necessarily which you think was the best. Like, I've had more fun watching some TNA PPV's than I have had watching WrestleManias. That doesn't mean they were better (some were tho :P), but it was just more fun.

Couple of my picks...

WWE Wrestlemania 2000 (TLC was sweet, Jericho/Angle/Benoit was great. Main event sucked but a sweet undercard)

WCW Spring Stampede '99 (Goldberg/Nash II, Sting/Hogan/DDP/Flair main event with guest ref Randy Savage)

WWF Summerslam '91 (Match Made in Hell main event, with Hogan/Warrior versus Slaughter, Adnan and Mustafa. I also consider this the best top-to-bottom Summerslam ever, BTW.)

TNA Genesis '05 (The whole show was just hella fun. Just entertaining. More fun than WM21, IMO.)

WWF Survivor Series '98: Deadly Game Tournament (the new format was cool. Russo's booking at it's finest)

Any others?

WrestleMania X-7
The entire card that night was flawless... and I was there.

WrestleMania 14

WrestleMania 12

I guess you cannot go wrong with WM.

Yeah I hear X-7 is always voted the top-to-bottom best WrestleMania ever. Although I have to admit I've never sat down and watched the whole thing. I thought the main event turn by SCSA was stupid and I was tired of seeing Rock/Austin for the millionth time. Guess I shouldn't really judge until I watch the whole show, tho.

But I dunno, some of the Wrestlemanias were pretty bad. :P WMXI comes to mind. Although the LT thing wasn't "that" bad. WM13 had the Austin/Hart match, but there wasn't another good match on the card IMO. Same deal with WM10. Ladder match was the only standout.

Didn't think particularily highly of WM21 this year. It was good enough I guess.

All the early and later 'Manias were pretty good though. So like everything I guess it has it's good and bads.

Probably SummerSlam 88, since it was the first PPV that I actually watched live on PPV.

The old days of the Survivor Series were always fun. You never knew what the odds would be for a team. The shows were packed with 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5. They also had the Tag Team ones that had 10 men from each team. Also, it was the Thanksgiving Day tradition back then and we can't forget the Gobbeldy Gooker debut (Poor Mean Gene.) The Royal Rumble is also another classic, so was King Of The Ring, but that's gone.

WrestleMania 19 : Angle vs Brock, Y2j vs HBK, Rock vs Austin, V1 vs Rey, even Hogan vs Vince, majority of matches were great, only a few negative points (Bookers burial, RVD on Heat!, Nathan Jones booked on when they never intended him to wrestle)

No Way Out 2003: Build up to aforementioned WM, had some great matches, and Rocky screwing the Huckster over at the end!

Halloween Havoc Chamber of Horrors: First WCW PPV I ever saw, not that good in hindsight, but at the time I was so excited to actually see a WCW PPV!

Superbrawl 1: Sting and Luger vs the Steiners, plus Pillman vs Windham taped fist match!

Survivor series 88: The 20 man tag team SS match, with the double turn, lasting an hour in length, and the conquistadors nearly winning!

WrestleMania X: The first Bret vs Owen match where Owen shocked me (never thought he'd beat Bret!), Bret winning his 2nd WWF title, the unique match between Savage and Crush and a decent Ladder match to!

I'd go with

WWF Survivor Series '98: Deadly Game Tournament (the new format was cool. Russo's booking at it's finest)

Wrestlemania 3 was a classic. Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat is one of the best matches of all time. If you were watching wrestling in '87, Andre vs. Hogan had such a special feel to it that I don't think will ever be topped. I wasn't able to watch it live as it happened, but I rented it the first day it was available.

Wrestlemania 8 was the very first PPV I purchased, I had to talk my parents into getting it as one of my birthday presents, so it has a special place with me. Although I have never even really liked the Warrior, I marked out big time when I heard his music playing and he rushed the ring.

A great majority of Wrestlemanias including the ones mentioned above were great. I agree Wrestlemania 13 was horrible. Austin vs. Hart was great but everything else stunk.

Royal Rumble is my second favorite PPV of the big 4. I loved it the most when they did 2 minute intervals.

In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede is just incredible wrestling throughout. If you haven't had a chance to see it, please do so.

For the major cards, WrestleMania X-Seven and Great American Bash '89 are always going to be tough to beat.

Best wishes,

Andy

Can't believe I didn't list this one. I was a big Bret mark, and to see the tables turned and the Harts being cheered while the faces were booed was fantastic, think I'll have to pick it up on DVD!

Which Royal Rumble had HHH vs Cactus Jack? I really enjoyed that pay per view top to bottom. :bigthumb:

For me they would have to be:

No Way Out 2001: (4-way IC title, extremely solid, Austin/Triple H 2 out of 3 falls, great match with a lot of brutality, Show/Raven, always fun to see a mumble jumble of guys going for that title, Rock/Angle, huge Rock fan at the time so it was fun to see him win the title)

Wrestlemania 17: (As other people have stated, this is great card from top to bottom)

Survivor Series 2003: (Team Angle/Team Lesnar, solid action, Team Bischoff/Team Austin, great matchup, very emotional farewell to one of the best superstars ever, Shane/Kane, good solid match, lots of action)
