Title: Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
Description: Holy moley.

What an ambitious project... Apparently, every character from previous MK games will be playable in this one (due out this October), with several updates to some of the more obscure characters. They're looking at 60+ classic characters, a few new ones, plus a player-created character.
You can read more about it here: Mortal Kombat Online: Armageddon info
Any other MK fans here? Chime on in!!

They didn't put the notorious Motaro in that shot? I hope they still have the adventure mode, where you go to different realms. Mortal Kombat Deception was pretty sweet and your character Shujinko got older as the game progressed.
Was Damashi really Onaga? Highly doubt it!

They need to put all of 'em in a game like the last one on the Xbox, what the heck was that called? It was a beat 'em up ala Double Dragon but was so much fun to play! Probably my second favorite MK game ever.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that noticed Motaro was missing...

Just played that game the other day. Oh, how many new characters have been invented since MK I (Kano, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Sonya, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Goro, Shang Tsung, & hidden character Reptile.)

Over at ign.com, there's an interview with co-creator Ed Boon. He talks about the upcoming Mortal Kombat and what not. There should be a video
on the upcoming clash.

This game should be coming out shortly and with creation it could be possible to create the Skull demon that was in Shujinko's story mode.

That game should be sooo much fun! So many characters and they made them all really different.... I love beating my guy friends at fighting games!

I guess I'll attempt to state something here. To be honest, at first it was cool then it became a total bore and the fatality system gets old fast. The classic fatalities were the bomb and not having them made some characters stale. I'm not in it all for fatalities, but the story mode sorts sucked. I was hoping that the story would feature every character, but they left out a bunch (no Jax, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, or even Nightwolf?)
Fun for playing with friends, but it becomes old really fast.

It's nice to know this will be avaible on the Wii.
