Say it loudly, and say it proudly!

As for myself, I got into it around 1991 with the release of Mega Man 4. I played it over a friend's house, and that's where it started.

I can proudly say I was a fan since X1. I played it 1997 - Sure, I understood no English at the time being only 7 - but it was hella fun and hard. Only when I was 11 did I pick up the series again.

Since early 2003. Zero 1 was the first I actually "played". I remember in 1997 playing X4 and hating it. XD;; Didn't get to play it again until 2005... Needless to say I liked it alot better then.

Back in the '80s when Megaman 2 first came out, I played it and loved it. In fact, my favorite robot master was Metal Man for the longest time or maybe it's more accurate to say his weapon was my favorite for the longest time (still is actually).

Unfortunately, I did not own the game, only rented it. I slowly forgot about Megaman until Megaman III came out. Best classic series game EVER! Megaman 2 was my first taste, Megaman 3 and the arrival of Protoman got me hooked. I've played probably the majority of the games since then, but almost none of the classic series games captured me the way MM2 and MM3 did.

Then came X in the 90's. It was falling in love all over again. I loved the game play, the new abilities, the story (such as it was), and the general atmosphere of the game. X1 got me started on the X series and I am still an X series fan to this day. Though I never really saw what the big deal was about Zero was other than his origins.

I also love the Legends series, probably as much if not more than the X series.

Never played much BN, but the concept was certainly interesting - though I still think one of the villians should've at least tried pulling out a gun when Lan pulled out his PET.

I never played the Zero series . . . except for one or two flash games based on it. But I did follow the storyline, which was interesting. Though my favorite characters were actually the 3 Generals.

I guess I've been into Megaman one way or another since the 80's.

Oh Lord, I forgot about the cartoon. I watched it, but I wasn't really a "fan" back then as I'd never even heard of the games.

I'm shamed that it slipped my mind XD I've got the whole series on DVD.

There were actually a number of quite good episodes of the Megaman cartoon. Too bad there were some stinkers to go with them.

I remember the Megaman they showed in the old Captain N: The Game MAster cartoons. Short green dude that looked more like Bubbleman than Megaman. Also said Mega way too much . . . but he was one of thier stronger fighters there.

Sigma (or Cygma as they spelled it in the cartoon) wasn't in that one. But Vile was.

Oh yeah, he has an unspoken brief cameo.

And despite the Americanized "shitty" to it I liked Vile's voice ;p

2001, with X2, which came with a bunch of ROMs and an ZSnes emulator my brother got for me XD

I remember hating it because I couldn't bounce on walls, and almost deleted the X2 and X3 ROMs I had XD I have no idea why I kept them ^^;

Thing is once I learned how to bounce on walls, I became a fervorous MMX fangirl XD

2nd Grade, with a copy of Mega Man 2, which is still a near perfect game for me.

I recall also attempting to make a Rush Jet mod skateboard in 3rd Grade, despite me not having the materials or even, in fact, a skateboard. But, with the advent of Electric Skateboards, this desire still stands mighty. ;p

I started playing Mega Man probably when I was like four. That was a long time ago though and I don't know the exact age. I just know that I have been playing Mega Man games for many years.
