It is unavoidable that I'll later have to expand on the Megaman Consortium, here I'll post the vague notes on each of the 8 Powers and their Leaders.
Nation: Neo-Arcadia Fictional Location: Russia Leader: Megaman X AKA: The Guiding Star, Copy X Other Citizens: Harpiuia, Leviathan, & Fafnir Purpose: The purpose of Neo-Arcadia is to protect the humans, and allow them to prosper. To do so, large domes were built, covering nearly every city in the Nation. Because protecting the humans is first priority, Megaman X has a zero-tolerance policy towards reploids who don't do as they are ordered. When the Resistance appeared asking for more Crystals, which are reserved for human consumption, the tyranical Megaman X labeled them as Mavericks. Nation: Neo-Babylon Fictional Location: Austrailia Leader: Megaman Beelzebub AKA: The Evening Star Other CItizens: Hellbat Silt, Kyubit Foxtar, Blazzin FLizzard, Faust & Kiku Purpose: The Law's bindspot. The nation of sin has become the center of questionable research and development. If a person, or nation, has new ideas involving extra-legal activities, you indulge yourself in Neo-Babylon. What happens in Neo-Babylon, stays in Neo-Babylon. It is the most popular vacationing spot for humans and reploids alike. Nation: Neo-Amazonia Fictional Location: South America Leader: Megaman Orochi AKA: The Rising Star, The Center Tree, Jukai Other CItizens: The North Tree, The South Tree, The West Tree, & The East Tree Purpose: The preservation and restoration of the world's flora and fauna. The Land of the Trees is personally responcible to helping engineer and "build" plants and animals, better adujusted to the Earth's changed landscape. Neo-Amazonia is the native land of "Technorganic" Reploids. Okay, I'll come back with the other Nations, as well as better looks at the Nations and their Leaders as the thread continues. Nation: Neo-Atlantis Fictional Location: The Atlantic Ocean Leader: Megaman Megalania AKA: The Tide Star Other Citizens: Unknown Purpose: Purifing the water. During the course of the 20th thru 23rd century, the oceans and other bodies of water became dangerously poluted, leaving this Nation on the Water, the purpose of cleaning and purifying the Earth's oceans. Contrary to popular belief, the capital and most of the cities of Atlantis sit on artificial islands on top of the Atlantic ocean, only the cleaning factories sit below the water. Nation: Neo-Zeal Fictional Location: The Pacific Ocean Leader: Megaman Delsol (name subject to change) AKA: The Wishing Star Other Citizens: Unknown Purpose: Cleaning the air, and restoring Earth's Atomsphere. The Nation of the Sun is the most isolated of the 8 Powers, and they are nearly selfsuficient, giving the citizens of Neo-Zeal a aura of arogance. While Neo-Zeal does not have much of a presence on Earth, the 8 Colonies orbiting Earth fall under their jurasdiction. Nation: Neo-Avalon Fictional Location: Europe Leader: Megaman Fenris AKA: The Falling Star Other Citizens: Unknown Purpose: Clearing dangerous debry. The Maverick Wars, and other catalysmic events, have left tons of debry littered through out the world, and it is Neo-Avalon's duty to clear the land. Neo-Avalon's survice is necessary, because when they clear a land, it is eligible for Neo-Amazonia or Neo-Arcadia to colonize it. Nation: Neo-Metropolis Fictional Location: North America Leader: Megaman Veronica AKA: The Morning Star Other Citizens: Unknown Purpose: Energy reserch and technology. The Crystal Empire is the most powerful nation in the world, despite what Neo-Arcadian's might think. Neo-Metropolis hold the monopoly over the production and distribution of Energy Crystals throughout the world, so they have a hand in the politics of all the other nations. It is also the most progressive of all nations, since Reploids have had fullrights for nearly 50 years. EDIT: Nation: Neo-Carthage Fictional Location: Africa Leader: Unknown AKA: n/a Other Citizens: n/a Purpose: ? (for now) Okay, so I haven't really thought this through. -------------------- |

I guess I'll start my revival by posting "The Brief History of Neo-Amazonia," my private notes on the Land of the Trees and expand on it in a later post. If you read The Secret History this is where the North Tree (or you may know him as the Pit Lord) is originally from.
Like the Secret History, these are filled with Magic the Gathering references, and even 1 Naruto reference. Without further ado, the brief history of Neo-Amazonia. The History of Neo-Amazonia: The Land of the Five Trees Now-Amazonia was founded with the purpose of resurrecting the dying plant life of the planet Earth. At it’s head was a single Reploid, his name was Orochi, but history remembers him as Kodama the First Tree. While the creation of technorganic plants seemed like a success at first, a fatal flaw in their creation threatened to break the foundation of Neo-Amazonia. In a final heroic gesture, the First Tree sacrificed himself to save his nation. The resulting explosion of botanical energy saved Neo-Amazonia, and the event became known as “The Birth of the Trees.” The First Tree’s sacrifice saved the nation from economic destruction, but his absence left the nation in pieces. Neo-Amazonia soon became divided into four states. Each state of Amazonia ruled sovereign, until one revolutionary reploid united them. His name was Lionheart, a technorganic Reploid who was part-Plant/part-Ape. Even though Lionheart was from the Western part of Neo-Amazonia, he knew that only by uniting, could their nation rise to power. Being a very large, powerful Reploid, it did not take him long to conquer the scattered tribes of Western Amazonia. With the Western State under his command, he approached the Southern State. In the south, citizens had established a republic, and were reluctant to accept a brotherhood with the savage West. But, in the end, Lionheart’s message of strength through unity rang true. The Southern state was reluctant in approaching the Northern sector of Neo-Amazonia, but Lionheart could not imagine the reformation of Neo-Amazonia, without their reclusive Northern citizens. It is unknown, how he managed to wrestle the Northern sector into agreeing to uniting, but he came back with representative from the North. Lionheart’s ambition was not yet completed, but the influential Southern state coaxed him into finally announcing a united Neo-Amazonia. Ironically, in the last days before appearing in the world scene, Representatives from the west presented Lionheart with a token peace, the would-be-famous Pagoda Tree. And so, that was how Neo-Amazonia was finally reunited. With the help of the Southern State, a new government was created, one that was beneficial to all five sectors of Neo-Amazonia. Lionheart named four leader of each state of Neo-Amazonia. His close friend, Rhino was named Kodama, the West Tree. The head chancellor of the southern Senate became Kodama, the South Tree. And, the genius who created the Pagoda Tree was named Kodama, the East Tree. The North Tree’s title was given to the occult leader of the hive in the North. To this day, no one knows what the North Tree looks like. Only Lionheart is said to have ever met with the North Tree. It was stipulated in the constitution that the North Tree never had to make decisions in person. Lionheart was given the title, “Kodama, the Center Tree.” History would remember him as “Kodama, the Founding Tree.” Every Kodama served for life. When one of the four trees died, the Center Tree would name a new citizen to replace the fallen Kodama. When the Center Tree passed, nation-wide elections were held. Each of the four divisions would nominate a runner. But, the Center Tree also had the right to train a successor that could also run to succeed his mentor. For the Founding Tree, he named a young plant/humanoid Reploid named Jukai from the East. The Founding Tree ruled over Neo-Amazonia for 80 years, and in the last ten named a successor. After his death, Jukai was narrowly elected. Now that Neo-Amazonia was fully reunited, the new Center Tree brought on the idea of improving the nation, and has been on shaky ground ever since. Lucky for him, in his short rule, he has named 3 new Kodamas. The only original Kodama is the North Tree. -------------------- |
