It's been noticed that a few people don't have scanners but wish to get their artwork on the computer some how.

Are there any suggestions out there for those who don't own a scanner?

The only possible things that came to mind for me is the college, but I'm not sure if they have a scanner to allow you to put your work on the computer. The next thing would be the library, but again I'm not sure if they have one you'd be able to use.

Another thing is to offer to scan work for people and email it to them, but that's entirely up to those with scanners to do that if they wish and if people are willing to give up that piece of artwork for no more than a week so someone can scan it for them.

There's a scanner upstairs in the learning centre and two in the design block (no one'd notice if you didn't take design lol XD)

Coolio where abouts is the scanner in the learning centre? I would love to get my artwork on the computer cos then I could email it to other people I know.

I get the feeling it could be near the technician desk thing at the top of the steps in the Learning Centre. But I'm not 100% sure.

Nah...uh ok...*hates giving directions* lol. You know as you're coming up the stairs there's a landing with two doors? It's by the big computer cluster that you see directly as you come out of the right hand door.
It's attatched to either the second or third computer along from the right hand side of the back wall I think...The back wall being the one with the notice boards with all the stuff about computing and the "Do not eat or drink near the computers" signs and stuff...If you can't get at that one, seriousely just go in the design block in a free or just after college or something (I think it gets locked at break...) The ground floor has no classrooms, it's just computers. I've got a piddly feeling there might be one in the geography department too but i'm not sure (I get sent there sometimes when design run out of computers). Try there as a last resort.
