I use:

The "good" health and mana pots from the AV vendor
Heavy Runecloth Bandages (regular kind)
Alterac Mana Biscuits (best food/drink I've found)

What are some other good consumables I could use? I'm not an engineer so I can't make cool bombs or anything, just wondering if there are any other consumables that people have found effective in PVP.

I use the alterac runecloth bandages since I bought like 2 stacks iono hooow many months ago and stil haven't used them all.

Autobar chooses them over the regular ones too as a plus when in the BG ^_^ same with the mana/healing potions.

Unless I'm in Alterac.... I don't normally drink or anything. Usually I'm dead long before my mana comes into play... or I use an innervate... or I'm running the flag and my mana bar doesn't get affected much.

Other than that.. I use swiftness pots when I have them... free action pots when I remember to pop them.. I think that's about it.

Grinding Twilight dudes in Silithus provides an endless supply of runecloth.
I always have a stack of combat health pots on me.
I usually just beg mages for biscuits though.

I also keep a stack of Swiftness pots on me, usually to chase down a free actioned druid with our flag.

I usually havea couple stacks of Mighty or Greater rage pots on me too, though usually don't use them in PvP, mostly for mid recklessness goodness after I've dumped the first rage bar. B)

I use morning glory dew :P

I tend not to use consummables, but I'd occassionally use combat potions.

I usually use a Major Healing Draught, Crippling poisons and Swiftness potions.

Nothing else is worth it to me :P

You can use Crystal Charges in place of bombs.

Crystal Restores will do a heal-over-time, that you can cast on yourself or another person (such as the flag carrier) while in combat and running!

Oh ya. XdO hates druids who use Free Action potions. Actually most Horde do. You figure they might purge it a little more often then >.>

you're making one fatal assumption.. that a person doesn't want ALL of their characters to have a mount of another's race..
human.. must have ram!
dwarf.. must have mechanostrider!
gnome.. must have kitty!
night elf.. well.. night elves don't need much runecloth to ride other races.

other races' MOUNTS of course!

I don't use conusmables... pretty pointless for me... as I usually top the charts in death per round...

Though I know that some people use free action (which I don't need really because I can blink when I am not counterspelled) and swiftness potions... outside of that.. I don't know what would be useful...

I have on occasion popped a health pot when I didn't have time to sit and eat (like an incoming zerg).

But I am still pretty much a newb in the battle grounds B)

Generally I don't have either the consumables or the money to afford them, but when I do have them I use...

Major Mana / Health potions: I can get them as drops from the furblogs for timbermaw rep so it really only makes sense for me to use them.

Morning Glory Dew: its common as mud, and I have it anyways. When I need the mana why not?
