Ok, today was a contrived mess. Apparently, the writers have no clue about time or time zones.
So Fish and Kyle are talking through the night. Kyle says he tried to find a store open, can't find one. They then say they are going for breakfast. But by then 512,000 people are already at Angel Square voting? Meanwhile, John is already in Michigan and in California, where it would be like 5 a.m., they are all there. So we have super-cop John able to convince some dolt in Michigan to just arrest some guy for no reason, he's so powerful that John. Then, as Viki and Clint and Charlie have a conversation, John takes the super-time warp back to Llanview in just minutes. Rex takes the magic time warp from Napa Valley to bumfuck Michigan in just minutes as well, while Dorian, Marty and others are roaming around Angel's Square.
Um, when Rex wondered about his father before, should he not have maybe asked Aunt Corrine who he was? And this nerdy woman is Roxy's sister? And Rex just leaves Natalie and Jessica to run out there immediately? All of this when Mitch could have simply kidnapped Rex and Brody? Um, why would Mitch want to drug and tie up Rex when he's his son? Um, if Mitch wanted to surprise Nat and Jess, I don't know, how about doing it at Llanfair where they live? And now Jessica is dropping off Brie at Renee's to take care of the kid, with a household full of staff?

Then we have the Langston / Markko bullshit. This is the most intriguing story they can come up with? Markko voted for Viki, so they're through. That's why that guy Ford will be coming back in December. Um, Markko, there's a reason they got you a bus ticket with John Brotherton...

Meanwhile, all of the gay people in town are upset that Dorian may not win. Um, hello? Viki supports the same issue, even told Dorian, "My first act as mayor may be to marry you.." But no matter who wins, neither has the power to issue valid marriage licenses, so I don't get what all of this is about.

Right. And Dorian wins the gay vote? There's about 51.2 people there at the Big Gay Wedding. Are there any other mayoral issues aside from being gay? How about they want to build a football stadium and need a slight sales tax increase to get one? Or, they need more cops? (Heh. I crack me up.)

Don't get me started on time zones and teleporter usage. That's always been a thorn to me. :)

I'm pretty damn sure Rex had asked Corrine about his father before --- or maybe Roxy spoke with her. Either way I could swear the last time she was on --- and there was a last time --- it was about Rex's father. Of course, back then the writers thought it might be Mitch, but they weren't sure either. (Oh, and Corrine is Walter's sister if I remember correctly.) As much as I like RB, I'm pretty much over this Mitch taking over bullshit every time he returns.

Wait....is Ford really coming back and is Markko really leaving? Or is that pure hope on your part?

What I loved most about Tuesday's episode was watching every pointless character you can think of in the voting booth. Cause I was just thinking, "I wonder who Moe, Noel, and Markko's mom are going to vote for?" That was a major concern of mine. I'm surprised Shawn, Dr. Dumbass Closet Case Glassy Eyes, Daniella Toddita Esperanza Flanita, Density, Nigel and his cousin (arrgh...not funny!), and Carlotta weren't there too voting....or thinking about voting. And then we have poor Marty --- played by a double Emmy-winner --- who is reduced to making appearances wherever they can squeeze her in.

So how long before they turn Charlie into one of Mitch's disciples and fuck up his character too? That little exchange between Clint and Viki yesterday leads me to believe we'll be going down that boring ass road again sooner rather than later.

------

Me, too. Could barely contain myself. I also had to wonder why Mo and Noelle are voting in Pennsylvania.

If we keep Mo, Noelle and Markko's mom can we get rid of McStench? I'd chip in for that.

The very top of my list now is Stacy/Kim. After them: McHair, Coleslaw, Markko, BAH etc.
