Chikole is a small town near the norther coast of Serenn. It is quite chilly, but not frigid by any means; however, it is advised NOT to swim in its waters unless it is in the heat of midsummer.

The major Laboratory of Serenn make a sharp contrast against the homespun feel of the rest of the town. The specific reason that the Lab is located here is unclear.

A few Pokémon might be wandering this mostly rustic town, but not many. Also, there may be some weak Trainers who have traveled here to obtain their first Pokémon.

All in all, the few people who live here are quite friendly and willing to give help to the beginning Trainer.
