Route 202, which winds southwards through the Niai Sea, officially leads to Azrak. But, if one can navigate with their surfing Pokémon through the many rocks that are to the west, the persevering Trainer could find their way directly to Ka Town, with no trip through the forest-- but stronger Pokémon lie among the rocks, so it is not advised for newer Trainers.

However, there are some swift currents that will quickly carry trainers from Ka Town to Ayu, too fast for wild Pokémon to attack.So, in that respect, it's safe-- but the rocks are still a hazard, though none too great.

Sea Pokémon can be found here, as well as some Deep Sea Pokémon in the few areas where one could Dive, if they or their Pokémon have the ability.
