'ave a gander.
Listening is saying a bit much, but they're generally gauging fan response. Course, they're only doin' it on their own forums and those guys are legitimately fucking nuts. Fan demands include not reusing levels, being able to equip followers (barbie dolls for everyone) and... that's it. The devs have responded by gently steering the conversation towards which parts of the lore the fans want fleshed out.

I romantically like the idea of Bioware taking ideas from the people who play their games.

Every suggestion I have for Dragon Age III has already been shut down by Mike Laidlaw as he has already stated they won't be going back to what made Dragon Age: Origins so excellent - a love letter to the Baldur's Gate games. Not reusing levels, full character customization, and a return to it's dark fantasy art style would be a step in the right direction, but BioWare doesn't understand good faith anymore.

Good idea on paper, bad idea to execute. The majority of Dragon Age fans now are a bunch of struggling amateur romance writers, cosplayers, Felicia Day lovers, and people who just like to play dress up. This will only end in disaster.

Maybe it's because I've just had a really great time with Infinity Blade, but is there anything inherently wrong with reusing levels? I more had a problem that it was a dreary boring shitfest to play.

Infinity Blade is a fighting game. Since when does anyone care about scenery in a fighting game? However, when you're making an RPG that lasts 20-50 hours - creating three dungeons with no variation to them - repetition is going to set in really, really fast. Plus you'd be setting a bad standard in game development if you thought it's a good idea.
