I have to say that I agree with you, it's ridiculous that it has been going on for so long and no one of real importance has really cared or really done anything about. I also like how they fail to mention that A.) Kony left Uganda about 6 years ago and B.) Yoweri Museveni has been the dictator of Uganda for the past 26 years, with more people killed under his regime with his consent than Kony has ever killed. And then you have flaw C.) and flaw D.) and so on, too many to even mention. But still, it's a start and hopefully it does work for the good and helps people to see the reality of things and how far we have let things go. We only have ourselves to blame, we could have stopped it at anytime, but we as a whole just don't really care. I support the movement though, maybe it will bring about the change that is needed. Am I hopeful that it will change America? I doubt it, but at least it will get momentum started towards the end. Hopefully. |
