As anyone would notice, I don't have a Playstation 3 or PSP, but this game recently popped up while I was reading random things. Apparently, I had missed out on this game (released last year) and I remember several fond times of playing it back in the old DOS days. I was curious, has anyone noticed this game?

Video here.

This, on the other hand (to reference my other post) looks like exactly the type of game I'd enjoy.

Haven't heard of it, though, not at all. If it's retail, though, I'll keep an eye out for it. Although the chances of it cropping up in an Australian store are near nil.

Never heard of this. Looks like an interesting concept, although it would be nice to have more combat abilities than just spraying the same blue lasers everywhere lol.

Plus of the retro adventure/exploration based games from that era had very few to just the one attack, and this is entirely just a graphical overhaul, so I'll be very surprised if you get more then say, 1 upgrade.

It seems to just be more a platformer. Which is good enough for me.

Well, the original 1985/95 (I forgot the years) game had just that. And this game is merely a touch-up on a classic game. In a sense, this game got horrible reviews because of the fact that "nothing changed" besides the graphics. Those familiar with the original DOS/PC-88 game would be right at home with this 3D enhancement. And it's a download-only game, not retail. I've looked up prices for this game, and it turns out to be selling at $9.99.
Considering this to be headed by Square Enix, it looks quite neat, but it also seems to be derived from the fact that Square Enix is buying out other companies in the area, perhaps taking Game Arts with them as well since they have Taito already. I wish they would do this more often to other classic games.

Edit: Sorry, I wasn't reading the above post.
