Nice to see that Blizzard is ready to demonstrate their sense of humour every now and again. Figure if I pull some sort of hilarious scam, might get the same treatment? Must be like... royalty.
I've still yet to play it... wait no, I already have. But I'm going to hold onto revealing my opinion until I've played some of the other classes that isn't the Barbarian. Maybe even hit some co-op.

Well I barely managed to squeeze in a chance to play it to level 5 so far. I have been cautiously enjoying it.
I say "cautiously" because I was immediately turned off by the near-copy pasta resemblance the main game menu has to World of Warcraft. The music also had a bit too much of a Warcraft vibe to it and it wasn't really feeling like Diablo. Then I got into the actual gameplay, and that quickly changed. The interface and controls became much more similar to Diablo, but with necessary refinements which I am so far pleased with. The music and sounds are definitely Diablo, the blasting away of hordes of zombies and undead shit is just as satisfying as before (if not more so, your shots really feel like they have impact).
The graphics are slightly disappointing--mainly as far as character models are concerned. The environments are otherwise pretty well-done and the game runs pretty smooth on my machine with all settings maxed out. I also haven't totally figured out the new skill system; it doesn't seem like Diablo 2's at all. I have no idea if I'm wasting points or not.
Overall, Blizzard can still suck my dick over the always-online DRM requirement and the removal of LAN play yet again, but these issues aside the game is fun to play so far. I'm going to finish playing as a demon hunter and then try the wizard class next.
