Go see it.
Usually I don't give a damn about plot, and I'd usually happily spoil it for you. But this... I don't want to spoil it, at all.
Just keep in mind that this is a black comedy satire of horror films, and then go see it.

Huh, what? You don't give a damn about plot in movies in general, or just in horror movies? XD

Lore, plot, storylines, whatever all of them nearly all the time, don't give two hoots. I really don't.

I don't watch movies. Unless they're Wanted or DOOM because those are literally the best movies to have ever been made.
But I saw this one on recommendation... Even though it's absolutely nothing like what I would usually watch (Wanted or DOOM) it's completely brilliant in every way.
I personally went in with just about everything "spoiled" and still immensely enjoyed it. Just fuckin' watch Cabin in the Woods. You wont regret it.

No, it is objectively true. Those are the best. Do not be blinded to their brilliance.

That movie looked fucking stupid. Why's it getting such good reviews? It's not like Sam Raimi directed it.

I wouldn't pass up on Cabin in the Woods just yet though. It makes fun of the generic horror cliches seen in all those shitty horror films. Plus it got excellent reviews too.
Regardless though, I haven't seen a movie in theaters about 6 or 7 months ago. I don't plan on seeing Cabin in the Woods in theaters, as I'd rather save my movie money for Prometheus instead.

Sorry, I hope i didn't appear offensive, I didn't mean so! But yeah, it doesn't look bad at all, and the reviews are good! But the trailer didn't really give me a spark in my arse strong enough to make me run to the cinema to watch it ...

Tried to re-watch Wanted little while ago, wasnt as good as i remembered. Doom, I liked it for what it was, and while I know its not a great movie, its a personally favorite. If people are allowed like twilight and justin bieber, Im allowed to like doom and planet Hulk (seriously planet hulk isnt bad, it has surprising depth compared to live action hulk films).

Wanted is kind of not cool every single moment they spend not smashing each other in the face with keyboards.

So it's your favourite film only because of the keyboard-smashing scene?
