It's called Halo: Out with a whimper. Luna knows, so does shadow, and KR. Basically it's a fan game of Halo, but compared to other ones, this is really decent and deserve to be called a good game. There's a lot of members working on it, not to say they're one of the first games to use the New Rayg sprites. Their lead is Voho, multiplayer coder, Jangos Legacy. Others include 117, 13th Shorty(some of you might remember him, he registered here before), Torrent, and...some other dudes. The game is really neat, what I like the most is that, this game is actually using its own sprites, and they're coding their own Multiplayer engine, similar to Halo 3's multiplayer engine. Your scores are posted at their website, also your maps, mods, your perms, everything. This game allows you to fully customize yourself, and it's game. You can make your own weapons, your own armor perms, your own levels, forge. I say this is as good as a game can get, it included new characters for multiplayer, like brutes, and all the other Halo characters for different gametypes. A new character, but not yet decided, still in production, is a sentinel character, they name it the Vanguard, which is created by me. *uh - Hem* Concept 1Concept 2Concept 3Concept 4__________________ WIP: Other than that, a new screenshot is available for viewing, there's more, but I will not show because it's for certain people only. => Register here LAWL <= Anyway, a new playable is available on March 8th. If you want to compete with eachother, make sure you register, and I shall pwn you on the battlefield. More about Halo Sprites: Halo sprites is a huge community with 100 active members, either spriters, coders, drawers(moi), and sniper 117s(yeah he registered there but they banned them because he's really annoying) Any chance you want to forge with them, a lot of other forums have forged with them, to create this huge community. So, good luck. Nore to come soon.

Moved to Computer. And I'll start caring about this when I see a finished product. Honestly it looks like it will be another lost cause like many other Halo fan projects.

I find that a lot of Halo fan games have potential, but distractions and lazy creators always halt production. But is anyone here getting tired of Halo fan games? Honestly, even I, a huge Halo fan, am starting to think all these games are just ridiculous. They pop up, get mentioned on HBO... then die. Like SoR..

Exactly. These games get their spark, then they fall. That's why I kinda dropped my Halo project too. It's really nothing but a simple engine anyways.

Well... This game is too big now to just drop. They have 5 coders, the best spriters they could find, and me =D.

Yeah. But then, will it be as big as of a hype as Halo Zero? I don't see people saying things like, "OMG New Halo 2D Game!" They did that for Halo Zero and it was pretty much all over the net. Will OWAW be the same? I don't think so.

Because ever since Halo Zero, people wanted to make their games better than Halo Zero. But since then, they've been stealing sprites from Halo Zero and so on just to make their game "better." Apparently, some make their own sprites, but then they make the game seem just simply overhyped. Sure, the game will be fun once in awhile, but why would it get the hype Halo Zero got? It's just because a whole bunch of people who didn't know what it was saw it and played it. I don't think they'd get another successful and popular fan game unless they used something better than Game Maker anyways. Sure, you can make nice games in Game Maker, but then what's the use if you already know that many don't like to use it? Besides, C# and C++ are cross platform to those who don't like Windows.

And me. They stole my Longsword sprite in one of the videos. But yah, I've played the demo, it's not so good. MUCH worse than Halo Zero which personally, I think, sucks.

Boy, that demo is so old. They don't even use the same sprites anymore. The new demo have so many improvements, nothing like the old demo.
