But hey, look on the bright side, Halo 4 got a 10/10, so if you need your space mech fix, better purchase a new Xbawkx and get Master Chef's latest adventure.

I agree, that was stupid. While it wouldn't be an unwelcome addition, it's hardly worth noting in a review. The multiplayer mode was unbalanced anyway and was mostly just there as an extra.

I'm actually getting a slight suspicion about the review as a whole. I'm getting a lot of conflicting reports. Other reviews say the framerate is mostly improved. Some say the framerate is better in-game, but worse during cutscenes. I don't know who to believe. My guess is though this particular reviewer may never have played the original and realized the massive battle at the end of the game was always horridly choppy, so it's not actually a decrease in performance from the previous iteration.

No thanks, if I'm going to spend $60 on a game it has to be a new release.
