Thanks in part to our PM and the media people now appear to be panic buying petrol.
My local Shell has been dry since this morning. On my drive home tonight I noticed a lot of stations appeared jam packed as people were obviously piling in to get petrol. Hope everything works out alright... --------------------

its mad
 they have to give at least 7 days notice to strike...i know this as mark spends alot of his life on strike  we have 3 cars and all of them need fuel  no idea if we can get any now  We think its a gov plan to get more money from us, we buy more fuel they get more Tax  --------------------    Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today, then if you like it, you can do it again tomorrow! |

Well industry insiders say petrol will be £1.60 a litre by the summer!!!

I had to get some last night as I was on the red. I waited untill 10pm and still had to queue for 10mins
This morning i passed a garage that was 1.36/ltr on the way home it was 1.38/ltr. Talk about cashing in! Are the masses in this country actually this stupid? makes me feel like I just want to give up! I think you hit the nail on the head kimi, end of tax year in 5 days time... end of year revenue boost! --------------------  |

Yes. The trouble is, all the brainless berks who are doing the panic buying are forcing the rest of us into having no choice but to join the queues for fear of being left in the lurch. I went to fill up for tomorrows London jaunt at the crack of dawn this morning on my way to work - I had the place to myself but even so, all of the diesel pumps and all of the regular unleaded was sold out. People are idiots - that one sentence explains all of this. --------------------  |

No such problems at the BP in Gornal. Went there about 4pm yesterday and I was the only vehicle on the forecourt.

No V-Power at Shell on the Tettenhall Road all weekend
Horrifically I had to pay £150.9p for a litre of super unleaded at Texaco because of this. Handy how fuel prices have rocketed due to this 'crisis' eh? --------------------
