Thanks for the comments guys.
I was a bit iffy on the front bumper from the pics but Jurgen said you have to see it on the car cause it looks great and goes well with the rest of the car. After seeing it for myself, i agreed that it does look good but im still thinking about changing it early next year (after winter). I will still keep this one though as a back up. The car is mapped to 1.2 bar with the greddy boost controller and HKS ECU but still has the standard exhaust on with a back box. I think the previous owner had taken the aftermarket one back off before it came from Japan. I have tried the car at 1 and 1.2 bar and it flys I will be changing this to a full 4" HKS titanium early next year too as I think its pointless to do anything in the winter. Will get engine bay pics up as soon as I can. Thanks |

Crikey - the standard exhaust pipework is very restrictive, so mating that just to a backbox will be strangling a lot of power from your car
Make sure both cats have been removed if you're going to run 1.2 bar boost. The restriction the cats create causes very high EGTs and this can fry the stock ceramic turbo blades Should be insanely quick BPU at 1.2 bar boost - mine runs stock 0.9 bar boost and will run low 13 second 1/4 miles all day -------------------- ![]()

I know that the standard exhaust is restrictive thats why I tootle at just 0.8 bar
It will remain at 0.8 bar until I get my Exhaust and Defi's fitted so it should be ok. |

I'd recommend the Tanabe Concept G Blue for a Supra exhaust mate Nothing sounds like a 2JZGTE through these zorsts and the quality is unsurpassed, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-A27MJnMVs I'd have one on mine if I could justify the price I'd also swap the fuel pump for a walbro, as the j-spec fuel pump isnt totally reliable when you run higher than stock boost -------------------- ![]()

Im looking at getting the HKS 4" titanium exhaust with decat and frontpipe to match.
I will definately check and change any parts required to get the most out of BPU before going single. Initially I was looking at getting the Tanabe Ultra titanium but think that it may be hard to get a hold of or may even be discontinued now im not sure. |

This the badboy? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-Titanium-Exhaust...=item43957ea41c Remember you'll need a restrictor ring in there to stop the boost spiralling over 1.2 bar if you remove both cats -------------------- ![]()

Thats the one. Thats a good price comparing it to Whifbitz who have it listed at £1500 just for the catback.
Have you used this company before?, they seem to be ok looking at the feedback. Yeah either a 1.0 or 1.2 bar restrictor ring will be needed too, to keep the boost under control. |

Never used them. I think they've got a bad rep on the Supra board IIRC... -------------------- ![]()
