Group: Moderator Posts: 3,728 Member No.: 3 Joined: 9-October 05	well today the enevitable happened! i came home with a poorly water pump and a torn engine mount i had a first run in full trim with all the seats a spare wheel road going tyre pressures and ran a 19.6 @ 66 which i was incredible pleased about as im now running 14's and though the car would struggle to break the 20 second barrier, whats more my old mk1 managed a 19.9 in full trim so it was looking promising lost the seats and dropped the tyre pressures and had 2 very hairy launches where the car decided to torquesteel straight towards the stand!!! (you wouldnt think it possible with just a 1.1) then a final run in the far lane rather rushed on the staging i ran a 19.1 @ 77 i know most of you guys will be chuckling away and saying whats the point but its all a bit of fun and even with it being the cars first time out i was the quickest 1.1 fez of the day , bring on shakey! ill chuck some high octane fuel in it some ocane booster and remove some more weight see if i can get back into the 18's --------------------

Cutting 1/2 second from your time and adding 11mph to your terminal speed over the course of the day is not to be sniffed at whether you're driving a Ferrari or a Fiesta
