Had a dabble on this this afternoon... handling very similar to Forza 2, but lots of little rewards and a much improved ugrade system. This game has recieved maximum marks in both xbox mags that I read... and it seems like its gonna be amazing.
Haven't touched the rewind button and just run ABS in terms of driver aids (unless the real car has TCS as standard) in order to reduce the nannying.  Some initial pics: My first car:  Teg on WedsSports:  Now with added scaffolding:  Will keep y'all posted.  -------------------- ホンダ

Apart from the gameplay, its by far the most beautifully presented game I've ever played too. Proper slick, crisp and HD tastic...
My new Sprinter with comedy green Advans. She's a tail happy little beast as I run no TCS, but a hoot to drive and really rewarding to win in.  i ruined this shot by messing with the shutter speed:   -------------------- ホンダ

Just unlocked kaido racing mode...

GT5 wont suck... Sony wont let it!
One thing concerns me though... I always feel like the 'trigger' buttons on the Playstation 3 controller dont allow much modulation for throttle control and offer very little resestance, whereas the xbox trigger buttons are much more like scalextric hand controllers... making minor adjustments to the throttle is childs play. Haven't played a racing game on the ps3 however, so my fears may well be unfounded... is it just unfamiliarity? -------------------- ホンダ

Lol... well written and amusingly presented review! As he admits though, he does seem to spend a lot of time bitching about the game though, only to call it "awesome" at the end.
One area that I disagree about however is the graphics, which IMO are a significant improvement over those on the last game. I distictly remember black borders around the cars, and roofs that magically turned white in the sunlight on F2... Ah well... 944 w00t!  Uber jap hillclimb...  -------------------- ホンダ

Been messing about with the design editor today... check the bonnet; I'm now repping The Boost™ online!
 If anyone does buy the game, search 'octaneboost' at the storefront vinyl shop... 2000 credits and the design is yours! [/delboy] McLovin my new Gram Lights (see first shot) too but defo need to darken up the 'carbon' bonnet lol...
