I like it!!
Sounds like you got a good deal you may be able to extract a few more BHP or torque having the map tweaked which is pretty cheap. 182BHP though on CAMs is a very good result and i can imagine drives pretty wild. Only thing i'd do is take off the black strip along the lower doors as it spoils the lines of the car and BMW fin unless it actually is the aerial. -------------------- |Yeah Its Camm'd Baby!| http://nathanielhamilton.fotopic.net | http://www.saxosportsclub.com | www.sxoc.co.uk | My Xbox 360 Gamer Profile http://live.xbox.com/member/Nathanvtr

I like it too, but i agree about the stripe, it doesn't quite look right.
The bonnet vent isn't my thing either but then i'm a bit of an OEM geek. With so much red as there is, i'd also do the door handles. It must go fairly well. -------------------- ![]() |

Saw this in person at the meet today and I think it's great
Yes it does need a slight dechavving in places, but thats nothing a dremel cant sort out 180ish bhp must be fun and its certainly got all the mods you've wanted Tommo. The bonnet vent is actually functional as well, which is quite a shock!!! -------------------- ![]()

thankyou all very much, bonnet is on the 'to do' list but the 1.4 bonnet is pretty crap to be honest, stonechips, dents, whatnot so wont be using it...
right i added a pic of the front end originally to the first post, and now some new ones. just to point out, today i changed the brakes to the red dots i brought off of stufagti a while ago, just to get me out the shit, there still shit but they work, think they need bleeding and brand new discs/pads. one of the pad carrier bolts was seized, snapped the head off, the other was the wrong thread on the bolt so raided the parts bin (Si) to get me back on the road... removed the neons, pissed about with the stereo (front speakers not working) washed it and took it out to its first meet. HUGE thanks to corbs and my neighbour mark for the help and support cheers to hadyn and corbs for the pics ![]() ![]() and the best one with the aggro front end... ![]() cheers tom --------------------

im afraid the bonnet is going, gonna put the Si one on even though i said i wouldnt, starting to get used to it now and get an idea of what i want from it and the bonnet is too much for me, yeah its functional but i might go for a subtle lift on the back edge of the bonnet...
P1 shiteki is an aoc thing lol the indicator vent was originally made by suteki, i branded mine a shiteki as it was a quality tommo botch, P1 is phase 1. my gti is a phase 2. the P2 got crystal style lights so the vented indicator doesnt quite match up but thats only if anyones being anal about it lol tracey, thankyou very much Sam, its gonna stay as it is pal, i like the car as a whole to be honest --------------------
