FEU Forum Guidelines v.1 (By Cat)

If you are new, Cat, and the entire FEU staff would like to welcome you to Fire Emblem Universe. If you are just reading the rules, good for you. You are the prime example of a great member! Lets get started with board guidelines.

On the forum

Fire Emblem Universe's community is a real tight-knit group of people who really know each other well. Thus the zany spam topics, insane posts--We seem to carry a playful nature on this board. Due to this, however, some forum members have began to think hat it is okay to spam throughout the forum. It is not okay to spam. In fact, any spam that appears in any forum other than the spam forum will be met with consequences.

While creating topics, be sure to include a descriptive topic title that will give the correct impression of what your topic is about. If it is about how you Aethered the Black Knight twice, then make sure your topic title has to do with the fact that you Aethered him twice and kicked his Metal butt. :E

Your work

Plagiarism is not a big problem as it used to be, but I'm still gonna go over it. Courtesy of Dictionary.com

If any of this is reported and proven true, this will result in a instant ban. No questions asked.

Innapropriate Material

Fire Emblem's roots are from Japan. Fire Emblem actually spans to nine games! From Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryű to Hikari no Tsurugi to Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki. Which leads to ROM requests. ROM requests are absolutely not accepted here due to IF's acceptable use policy. However, ROM links cannot be posted, Emulator discussion is okay, because Emulators are not Illegal. No Links to any websites carrying ROMs. Or ISO's. Or any Video Game in Emulator format. Breaking this rule will result in a ban. Other things that are not allowed are illegal MP3/warez and anything of that sort. Lastly on links, Advertising is absolutely positively not allowed without asking a forum administrator's permission.

Signature and Avatar

A signature is your space to decorate with whatever you like. However, some people go over the top with them, and they are just annoying. No more than three images in your signature, and it cannot be more than 300px in height. Linking to your forum is allowed there, but only one link. If your signature breaks anyof these rules, you will be asked kindly to fix it, or I'll give you my special signature. ;[ Your avatar cannot be more than 120x120px. Nothing pornographic or innapropriate.

Behavior

Forum Behavior is a really big thing here at FEU, and is strictly enforced. No trolling or Flaming. Trolling is basically verbally attacking someone in hopes of starting a fight. Flaming is arguing violently. You have to end disputes somewhere else, or else you'll be serving a suspension just for getting involved. USE PROPER SPELLING AND GRAMMAR FOR GOD'S SAKE. Necroposting is generally not allowed, but you can kindly ask an administrative figure for permission to bump something. Lastly, Profanity. Profanity is used everyday, insults, joking around, whatever it may be. Keep it to a minimum-if at all- nothing. It will be tolerated very little. If you use it way to often, welcome to the "traitors" group. Basically brands you an idiot.
