Iahna bit the inside of her lip and gave a small smile, "Well..." she began gazing at the smiaring water, "It's been so long, I have trouble remembering them. But, I had no siblings unlike you. They were kind and caring folk, full of character. And when they had to let me go for the sake of our village, they did so with little hesitation." she laughed softly, "I don't know how to take that honestly; patriotism...or relief."

[Misha]

((Yeah...I was procrastinating more than usual on homework that day ))

"I'm sorry." Lucy wanted to know more. Why would Lara's parents have had to send her away? But Lara hadn't offered that information and Lucy knew from experience that some memories were just too painful to talk about, especially with someone you just met.

After a short silence, Lucy added, thoughtfully, "You know, our parents had to let us go, too. Only it was for our own good, to protect us from a war that was going on. It was meant to only be temporary. But... that was forever ago, in another world, before we came to Narnia. I can hardly remember it." It was strange that she should forget Spare Oom -- no, what was the real name...Eng...England -- so soon. According to the record books, she and her siblings had only been ruling for about six years. But for some reason, their prior life seemed much more distant. In fact, Lucy hardly thought about it at all.

I have always thought as time as an essential and good healer, unlike what some may say. With the kind of past I have had to carry, time has become a good friend." She smiled sadly, and desperately wanted to change the subject. The thought of the past only regurgitated old and forgotten emotions.
