Is there a law about playing live in public without a license?

just i was thinking how about hiring a luton van, a generator or two and getting you guys to play out of the back at stragic points around bromley, croydon, etc etc.

then driving off before anyone complains (as if they would - i reckon it'll be like the street dancing scenes in the Blues Brothers)

Think of it like guerilla warfare. before they know it they'll love the song, and they won't know why.

Added into this is flyer and "where to buy" the cd leaflets being handed out etc etc.
