Here is the fanfic I have been working on for a long time. I posted it on janime, pojo and yugiohcardmaker. I am MasterSepman there as well.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Yu-Gi-Oh characters, cards and anime-related things. I do own all the characters I created and all the cards.

Someone who posts this story and claims it to be his, while he/she does not carry my name, or claims that I gave permission to post it, is not true.

Chapter 1 “Crusade to Hisehade City! Kamon versus Lean (1)”

A cruiseship is going to the harbour of Hisehade City. On the ship is a boy called Kamon McFlinn. He is on his way to the company of his father. Kamon is a highschool champion in Duel-Monsters and he even beated the regional champion. He is famous in Oka, the village where he lived and the only one who brought him to Hisehade City, was his father. However there are also kids who don’t like him. One of them is on the ship, called Lean.

Later that evening, Kamon was eating alone, while the boys were making fun of him. Kamon is just been attended by his assistant, a beauty of a girl called Sara. Sara asks whether Kamon cares about Lean and those others. Kamon says he doesn’t really care. They are just a couple of fools, wanting to make fun of someone who is the son of one of the richest men in the world. When they say something about his sister who fell from a tree and died, Kamon gets up and asks what the problem is. Lean says nothing, but he was just going about Kamon`s past. Kamon gets angrier, but keeps himself in the hand. He goes outside, followed by Sara.

Outside on the deck, Sara tells him she feels like the fact that there is something dark around Kamon, every time he gets angry. Kamon says there is nothing wrong with him. Lean comes outside and starts telling stories about Kamon. Kamon grabs him and pushes him against the rail of the ship. Sara begs him to stop. Kamon grabs him harder and almost throws Lean over the rail, but he gets himself under control. Kamon says let’s finish this the way they normally do. Let`s duel. Lean says he’ll crush him. Kamon tells him not to be so sure of himself. They stand by their dueldisc`s.

Kamon suddenly sees a lionlike creature staying behind Lean. He asks what that creature is. Lean says it is his duelspirit, Leanbroww. Kamon says he wasn’t talking about that one, the other behind Leanbroww. A black clad wolflike creature appears behind Leanbroww and Lean. Lean says he doesn’t know, it is however one of his cards. Kamon says he has heard about Duel-Spirits and hoped he would have one to. Never mind, let`s duel!

Kamon – 4000
Lean – 4000

Lean says Kamon issued the challenge, so he can start. Kamon agrees and sets two cards facedown and Dreamsprite (500/500) in defencemode. Lean starts his turn by setting one card facedown and a monster in defencemode. He ends his turn. Kamon draws a card and says that he gets 500 lifepoints because of Dreamsprite (4500). Then he plays Bowdarion (600/400) in attackmode, activating Lean`s facedown card, Ultimate Offering. Bowdarion destroys the facedown monster, Skull Servant (300/200). Bowdarion then can gain half of the opponents attackpoints (750/400). Lean starts his turn by summoning another monster in defence and then activates Ultimate Offering to give up 500 lifepoints (3500) and summon another monster into defencemode. Then he pays another 500 lifepoints (3000) and a third monster appears in defencemode. Kamon starts his turn by gaining another 500 lifepoints (5000). He sets a card and plays Pot of Greed, drawing two cards. He plays the magiccard Assault Robo Cannon. It summons two Assault Robo Token`s (600/0) in attackmode. Dreamsprite destroys a facedown (another Skull Servant), Bowdarion destroys a facedown (also a Skull Servant) and raises his attack to 900, a Assault Robo Token destroys another facedown (a Skull Servant) and the other Assault Robo Token attacks directly (2400). Kamon says this is to easy. Lean says it is not over. He’ll summon his all powerfull monster.

Kamon – 5000
Lean – 2400

In the meantime, an employee called Sam Degin, is about to go to the company of Kamon`s father, when he is being attacked by a big shadow. The shadow summons a Golgaroth (2000/2000) in attackmode and punches Sam down. Sam stands up again and the shadow touches him. His eyes change from blue to red and he asks how can he serve his master……

Sara gets a call from Kamon`s father, asking when Kamon will arrive. Sara says Kamon is dealing with something first. The father asks if Kamon is duelling again. Sara says yes and he is crushing his opponent. They hang up and Sara watches as Lean is about to summon the card he was talking about all time. Kamon tells him not so fast and activates his facedown card, Lullaby of Silence. He gains 300 lifepoints and cancels out the order of Lean. Lean says it is just a matter of time until his ultimate monster arrives. Kamon gains another 500 lifepoints because of Dreamsprite (5500) and then tributes his Dreamsprite and an Assault Cannon Token to summon Des Dondagalf (2200/2000). And another Assault Robo Token appears. Kamon gains another 500 lifepoints (6300) and Lean asks how he did that. Kamon says it’s because he tributed a Dreamsprite as well. Des Dondagalf takes over the ability of Dreamsprite to give him 500 additional lifepoints. Now further he ends his turn. Lean draws a card and says it is all over. He summons Underworld King of the Skull Servants (?/?). Then he activates the special ability of Underworld King of the Skull Servants to gain 1000 attackpoints per Skull Servant in his graveyard. He has 4, so his level becomes 4000/0. Then he plays Reaping Scythe as a additional magiccard and attacks Bowdarion (Kamon = 3200). Because of Reaping Scythe, the attackpoints of Bowdarion are split and added to his Underworld King(4450/450). Kamon is not really impressed as he orders Des Dondagalf to attack the Underworld King. Lean says that makes no sense, why should Des Dondagalf attack a monster which is stronger as him. He orders a counterattack and we are left wondering what will happen. See next chapter………

The writing style will improve during the furthergoing of the story.

Here is chapter 2 as well. Now I will wait how you think about it. Please read and review!

Chapter 2 “Kamon versus Lean! Rise of the Wolf-Lord! (2)”

Kamon – 3200
Lean – 2400

After the two blasts collided last chapter, we are waiting for the fog to clear. When the fog clears it seems that both monsters survived the attack. Well, Des Dondagalf is destroyed shortly afterwards, but Underworld King still stands. Lean says he just needs two more attacks and then he will win. Kamon tells him to go ahead, even better, he’ll help him. Kamon switches his Assault Robo Token to attackmode. Kamon sets a card and ends his turn. Lean says it only makes it more easy for him. He draws and says it is all over. He plays Haunted Morph and one facedown card. This activates another effect of Des Dondagalf, summoning it back to the field. This time with 2400/2000 as level. Kamon uses his magiccard Sharp Teeth on Des Dondagalf, raising his attack to 2600. Kamon orders Des Dondagalf to attack Underworld King and Lean orders Underworld King of the Skull Servant to counterattack.

This time Underworld King goes down, bringing Lean to 1700 lifepoints. Lean says now his Haunted Morph kicks in. Underworld King of the Skull Servants returns to the field. Underworld King (4000/0) again, equipped with Reaping Scythe, goes on to attack Des Dondagalf, lowering Kamon`s lifepoints to 1800. Kamon says he has only Assault Robo Token on the field and now he has to discard it because of Sharp Teeth. Underworld King (4700/700) attacks Kamon directly, but Kamon stays still. Kamon says he cannot just be defeated, you need more then that.

Kamon – 1800
Lean – 1700

Sam, in the meantime, arrives at the security gates of McFlinn Mechanics. The security-personell tells him he had a day of. Sam says he had to do something. The head of security, called Graem, tells him they have no record and so he is not allowed to go in. He calls the boss, father of Kamon, and tells him Sam wants to get in. The father, called Liam, tells them not to let Sam in. Graem tells Sam he can’t allow him access. Sam says he has too. A black shadow appears behind him and two monsters stand next beside him. Two Lainar-Knight`s (1800/1400) knock down Graem and his compagnions. Sam laughs and moves on.

In the meantime, Kamon looks at his hand (fltr: Monster-Reborn, Daigren-Blade, Ke-Chiow (1000/1000) and Final Wish) and thinks of a strategy. He draws a card and gets Battle-Fusion. He sets it facedown, then uses Monster-Reborn to bring back Bowdorian (600/400). Then he summons Ke-Chiow (1000/1000) and uses Daigren-Blade on Bowdorian. With it Bowdorian level raises to 1000/800. Then he can draw out one card he used earlier in the game and a card from his deck. That`s something he can do every turn. So he brings back Assault Robo Cannon and gets Polymerization from his deck. Then finally Kamon puts his last card in play, Final Wish. He rolls a dice and gets a 3. He draws three cards from his deck and exchanges one with another card from his deck. He sets one card facedown and then activates Polymerization to fuse Bowdorian with Ke-Chiow to Bowdor-Chiow (1500/1000). Lean asks whether that`s all. Kamon says not yet, he only must attack again. Underworld King counterattacks, but Kamon activates Battle-Fusion. So Bowdor-Chiow (6200/1000) attacks Underworld King and destroys it for good. However Lean uses the Grimreaper magiccard to stay safe. He still has 1000 lifepoints.

Lean says that was an awesome move. But Battle-Fusion is worked out now and Bowdor-Chiow is ready to be trampled. He says it is time to bring out his Duel-spirit, Leanbroww (2000/1000). He does so and the armoured lionlike warrior appears. Leanbroww destroys Bowdor-Chiow, lowering Kamon`s lifepoints to 1300. Kamon says he is far from defeated. How about bringing out his Double-Headed Leghul (500/500). It can attack directly and does so (500). Lean says that doesn’t matter, he can destroy it next turn and win the game. Kamon says there will be no next turn. Double-Headed Leghul can attack twice in a turn. And that goes as well for direct attacks. Lean tells him to go ahead. Double-Headed Leghul attacks directly again and should have lowered Lean`s lifepoints to 0, but he activated two cards, one from his and one on the field. The first one was called Seal of Divinity, discarding 4 magiccards from the deck to the graveyard. The second one is Soul of Purity, bringing back four magiccards he discarded and setting them at the field. Then he activates his other card on the field, called Emergency Provisions, discarding all four cards on the field and gaining 4000 lifepoints (4000). So where was Lean? Oh yeah, he was about to destroy Double-Headed Leghul, leaving Kamon with 200 lifepoints. Kamon catches for breath. He did not expect such a power from Lean.

Kamon – 200
Lean – 4000

Sam, in the meantime, arrives in a secured office where a man is watching the current duel of Kamon against Lean. Sam says the man called for him. The man tells him he did indeed. He is currenly watching the duel of Kamon against Lean and he wonders whether Lean can actually beat Kamon. Sam says if Lean releases the full power of his deck, he can. The man says they will proceed as planned, so get everything ready when the boat arrives. Sam bows and leaves the office.

Kamon is still trying to catch some breath. Sara tries to reach him, but Lean says it is an official duel, intervention of someone might meen disqualification of Kamon. Sara still wants to reach Kamon, but Kamon tells her he is fine, he needs to finish this. Kamon`s turn is now, he only has one card facedown and no monsters. He draws and says this lightens up again. He summons Glandalan (1200/800) to the field. This activates the special ability of Leanbroww, allowing Lean to activate a magiccard from his deck and Leanbroww gains 200 attackpoints (2200/2000). Lean plays Shrouds of Dark Magic. It allows him to summon a level-5 or higher dark-attribute monster in attackmode, by paying half of his lifepoints (2000). Then Glandalan gains 300 lifepoints, because Lean activated a magiccard (1500/1100). But from the shrouds of the magiccard the wolflike warrior, the unknown monster-spirit of Lean appears. Lean says he needs to tribute Leanbroww for it, but he now has Zen-Aku the Wolf-Lord (0/0). The level immidietly raises to 2000/2000. Zen-Aku is looming over Kamon, who is far in minority with only Glandalan. What will happen and what has Lean more in store for Kamon. We’ll see next chapter………

Kamon – 200
Lean – 2000

Eh. I read brief parts of it. Sometimes, you were very vague. Others, you seemed as if anticipating to spell out how they urinate. For the Sam scene, you don't have to put the same exact ending on every single sentence. A reminder, maybe, but we're not going to randomly start believing that you switched the subject to Debbie in Arkansas. <.<

That is mainly because these were the first chapters. The whole style of writing changes during the serie. Don't expect anything to change in the next 15 chapters. If I may advice you, read the whole story first.

The fact that there is no talking, ie quotation marks, makes the story inept and kinda boring.

You change from present tense to past tense A LOT.

If you want to write professionally, I suggest reading other Yugioh fan fics on Fanfiction.net and getting an impression on HOW to write a card battle.

The change in tense is very distracting and makes the whole thing look rushed.

I don't want to sound rude, but as I said before, it will change. When I am done with this saga, I will redo the first 15 chapters. Currently I am at 49 already and trust me a lot has changed.

I cannot suddenly jump to chapter 16, since you miss a lot of the story then. So I put up chapter 3, 4 and 5 now and tomorrow until 8. At the end of the week, you should be able to read the good versions.

By the way, being a bit more nicer never hurt anyone.

Chapter 3 “Kamon versus Lean! Arise, Preda Megabattleborg vs Eternal Dragon! (3)”

Kamon – 200
Lean – 2000

Zen-Aku the Wolf-Lord easily destroys Glandalan. But when the smoke leaves the place, Kamon still stands with 100 lifepoints left. He used his Last Resort-trapcard. Zen-Aku’s level raises to 2100/2100. Kamon uses the time to play Gold-Dagger and draws 5 cards. It allows him to play Grant-Guardian lv. 1 (500/500). Then he has to discard all monsters from the cards he just drew and get back magiccards or trapcards to the same amount. He throws away two monstercards and gets back Monster-Reborn and Last Resort. He uses Monster-Reborn and brings back one of the monsters he was forced to discard, Psycholoco (800/600). He sets Last Resort facedown and ends his turn. Lean says that`s not really an impressive defence. Kamon tells him to watch what they can do. He has just the right monsters on the field. Grant-Guardian can now be tributed for Grant-Guardian lv. 3 (1500/1000). Grant-Guardian`s update allows him to gain 500 extra lifepoints per turn (600). However Zen-Aku’s level raises to 2600/2600. Lean says he has already won. Remember his Seal of Divinity, he now can activate the four magiccards he then send away anytime he wants. He threw away, for instance, Dark-Core Flute. It can only be activated and equipped with a Zen-Aku. Zen-Aku`s level raises to 5200/5200. However Psycholoco throws a dice, getting a 3. His level raises to 2400/1800. Lean says it is still not enough.

He plays out the effect of Dark-Core Flute to bring out the Centauros Predaborg (2800/1000). That`s when he activates the second card Frontline Base. He brings out the Wolf Predaborg (2500/1000). He activates the special ability of Wolf Predaborg to bring back a trapcard called Ultimate Offering. He pays 500 lifepoints (1500) and brings in the Gorilla Predaborg (2800/1000). He says it is not over yet. No, says Kamon, he’s just starting. Psycholoco`s level raises to 4800/3600. Zen-Aku attacks Psycholoco, but Grant-Guardian intercepts the attack. After the attack, Grant-Guardian still stands. Kamon tells Lean to remember that a Grant-Guardian never can be defeated in the first attack. Lean says he did do it on purpose, now he can play the Lion Predaborg (3000/1000). Five monsters are looming over Kamon and his Grant-Guardian lv. 3 and Psycholoco.

Kamon – 600
Lean – 1500

The man who previously talked to Sam is still watching the duel of Kamon against Lean. He says it is just merely a test to see whether Kamon is ready to deal with bigger things. The world will be on his feet. He asks someone to bring in the assasins. Three people with cloaks come in and asks what their master want. The man says they each have a mission and they need to deal with a group of duellists. If he wants to take over the world, they must be cleared of the world.

Graem was listening in on this while he was on his security check and cameras sees him. Three big men come to him asking what he want. Graem tells them nothing is wrong, he was just on his security-check. He goes on to call Kamon`s father, telling him what he just heard. The father, called Glenn, tells him not to worry, nothing is wrong. He goes on. The man in the room gets a mysterious phonecall telling him, someone was listening in, but he took care of it. The man says good and goes on watching the duel with interest.

Sara was looking on the McFlinn website, seeing a high concentration of money to buy the company, while the company has no problems. She thinks to keep an eye on it. In the meantime, Kamon has his hands full on Lean. He gains 500 additional lifepoints because of Grant-Guardian (1100). Lean then plays Spirit of the Spring. He gains the same amount of lifepoints as Kamon will (2000/Zen-Aku (6200/6200)). Kamon plays out a card he got in his last turn, Foolish Move. He brings back Dreamsprite (500/500) and gains instantly another 500 lifepoints (1600) and so does Lean (2500/Zen-Aku (6700/6700)). Then he can evolve his Grant-Guardian lv. 3 into a Grant-Guardian lv. 5 (2800/1300). Which means, he can take out the Wolf Predaborg (Lean = 2200/Zen-Aku (7000/7000)). Lean tells him no problem, he can unite them. He plays Overload Union. There comes the Preda Megabattleborg (4000/3500). It destroys the Grant-Guardian lv. 5 (Kamon = 400). Psycholoco attacks, but is destroyed and Preda Megabattleborg still stands. Lean says it is the defendershield of Preda Megabattleborg.

Well, Kamon says, his Psycholoco forces his opponent to remove any monster from play he wants, so he’ll choose Preda Megabattleborg. Further he can gain 600 lifepoints (1000) which raises Lean as well (2800/Zen-Aku = 7600/7600). Kamon says he is going to end this battle now. He plays two cards, Brainwash Machine and Mystic Wok.

Kamon – 1000
Lean – 2800

The man who was watching Kamon and Lean`s duel all the time says the duel is nearing his end phase of battling. Then he’ll bring the duellists to his demise. He knows the outcome of this duel. He calls someone who apparently is at the harbour and tells him to set everything ready.

Kamon tells Lean the effect of Brainwash Machine. He can take over a monster on Lean`s field for the rest of the duel. And Lean can’t revise the effect. Then his second card comes in play, Mystic Wok. Tributing Zen-Aku, the one who gave Kamon such a lot of trouble, Kamon gains 7600 lifepoints. But of course, because of Spirit of the Spring also Lean gains 7600 lifepoints. But since Brainwash Machine was activated Lean receives damage equel to the level of Zen-Aku, which keeps Lean at 2800 lifepoints and Kamon has no trouble anymore with Zen-Aku. But Kamon hasn’t shown his most powerfull move. He uses Assault Robo Cannon (the magiccard he retrieved earlier in the duel) to bring in two Assault Robo Token`s. Then he moves in a Bowganion (300/800) in defencemode. Last card he plays is Honour Medal. He can tribute his three monsters on the field to summon any monster he has in his hand. And that`s his most trusted dragon, the Mega-Eternal-Seadragon (3400/3000)!! The great dragon is hovering above the field. However Kamon must wait another turn before he can attack. Lean says if he draws the right card he will finish it this turn. Kamon says he’ll just set this card and end his turn.

Lean draws a card and hopes it will be the right one. He sees it and says this duel is over. He says he just drew Spirit of the Spring – Devil`s Curse. He needs to deactivate his old Spirit of the Spring magiccard and throw it into the graveyard. Then he can activate Spirit of the Spring – Devil`s Curse. Because of it, he can draw out one card from his deck and draws Final Saber Slash. With it he brings back Zen-Aku. Zen-Aku (2800/2800) hovers above the Mega-Eternal-Seadragon. Then Lean tells Kamon because of SotS – Devil`s Curse he gains 2000 lifepoints (1000 per magiccard) and so does Zen-Aku (4800/4800). Zen-Aku attacks Mega-Eternal-Seadragon and should have destroyed, but he doesn’t.

Kamon says he is going to win. He played out the effect of Mega-Eternal-Seadragon (3400/3000) and got back a magiccard which immidietly activated, Battle-Fusion! Then he plays Seadragon Hatchling (400/0) and tributes it for another Mega-Eternal-Seadragon (3400/3000). Then the first Mega-Eternal-Seadragon (8200/3000) destroys Zen-Aku and lowers Lean`s lifepoints to 0. Kamon says it is finally over. Lean agrees and tells him he now knows how great Kamon really is. He leaves and his friends follow him. Lean tells them not to bother Kamon anymore, Kamon really is a superb duellist. Kamon turns around smiling and Sara says that`s a long time ago that she saw Kamon smiling. They go to their rooms.

Next morning Kamon sees how the ship approaches the harbour. Kamon says this is going to be an fun time, he hopes. Behind him his duel-spirit flies, the Mega-Eternal-Seadragon………

Chapter 4 “The lost champion!”

Graem is watching the monitors of the company where he is a security-guard. The telephone of him goes and Glenn is the one who calls him. Glenn tells him there is something wrong in computerroom 5. Glenn tells him there is a high activity of magnetic energy in there. Graem sees the report and looks up. He says there hasn’t so much magnetic energy in here, not after ‘operation apoca’. He watches a safe at the other side of the room and thinks, he should take it just in cause trouble would come.

One of the cloaked men is watching Graem coming to computerroom 5. He tells him to come, he’ll be ready for him. Suddenly Graem disappears. The cloaked men asks himself where he is gone. He tells some units to find him. Five armoured soldiers materialize from holograms. They close in to the computerroom 5. The cloaked man says the Quartoldon`s must find him and defeat him anyway and anyhow. However the Quartoldon`s report they don’t find any signs of Graem, but someone else. The cloaked man says he doesn’t care, take care of it.

In the meantime Kamon has gotten of the cruise and walks towards a cab. However two hummers and a limousine start driving up the driveway. Lean and his friends see how Kamon gets in, protected by some big and strong man. Kamon looks one more time at Lean, nods and goes into the limousine. The colonne leaves and Lean shakes his head. Lean tells his friends to catch a cab, they need to find an hotel.

The man in the screenroom (from the last episodes) sees Lean and the others leaving and tells his men to take care of them. He sees the two hummers and limousine coming down to the company. Nice vacation, never going to happen, the man says. He tells the Quartoldon`s to take care of the cloaked man in computerroom 5.

The cloaked man in computerroom 5 has found the troublecauser in the room, terminal 5a. The cloaked man puts in a disc, telling himself that the last time also terminal 5a was used. He accesses a program, but notices on the extern-camera that Quartoldon`s are coming for him. He reveals to have a dueldisc. The Quartoldon`s make their way into the room. They all carry dueldisc`s. The Quartoldons tell him to remove himself from this room, or else they will punish him. The cloaked man says he doesn’t think so and removes his cloak from his arm and reveals his own dueldisc armed with a deck. The Quartoldons activate their dueldisc`s. He says he is Mysterio.

Mysterio – 4000
Quartoldon 1 – 4000
Quartoldon 2 – 4000
Quartoldon 3 – 4000
Quartoldon 4 – 4000
Quartoldon 5 – 4000

Mysterio tells them they may go first. One by one the Quartoldon`s activate their magiccard Quartol-Rage. This deals 600 lifepoints per Quartoldon on the field including the controller. So Mysterio gets 3000 lifepoints of damage. The man behind the screens says that Mysterio doesn’t stand a chance. Then the Quartoldon`s activate one by one their magiccard Bomb under Defence. If the opponent plays a monster in defencemode, he loses 800 lifepoints per monster. However they can play free monsters in defencemode. So they play Quartol – Shield Bearer (0/2200). Mysterio plays a monster in defencemode, which is destroyed and he is left with 200 lifepoints.

Mysterio – 200
Quartoldon 1 – 4000
Quartoldon 2 – 4000
Quartoldon 3 – 4000
Quartoldon 4 – 4000
Quartoldon 5 – 4000

In the cab in which Lean and his friends are, they are talking about the upcoming USA Tournament. One of the friends of Lean, called Jen, says she has the weird feeling they are being followed. She is quiet right as two fighter-helicopters appear above them. They are being attacked and Lean and Jen try to get out unharmed. However, their friends are not as safe as they are. They are still in the burning wreckage. Lean`s armcomputer tells him these are Quartol – Aglache HX2 Copters, monstercards but how can they be real. A group of Quartoldon`s appear from the Aglache`s. They knock down Lean and Jen and they disappear, leaving the wreckage behind.

In the meantime, Mysterio is still battling the five Quartoldon`s and he is far from ok. He has 200 lifepoints left and no chance of playing defence-monsters with Bomb under Defence activated. He draws, saying it is his turn and he plays Core-Defence. The Quartoldon`s are surprised. Mysterio says that`s not all. They defeated his Core-Guardian – Besque (800/2000). They should never have done that, now he can summon his Core-Guardian – Tevez (2500/2000). Tevez easily strikes down all the Shield Bearer`s and reducing each Quartoldon with half of Tevez`s attack (5x 2750). Then Tevez can gain 500 attack – and defencepoints, because he destroyed five monsters (3000/2500) and then attack again directly reducing each Quartoldon back to holograms.

Mysterio – 200
Quartoldon 1 – 0
Quartoldon 2 – 0
Quartoldon 3 – 0
Quartoldon 4 – 0
Quartoldon 5 – 0

He says they should not have encountered him, he knows now for sure, project “Ecalypto” has been activated again. Then a droid comes in showing him a message from the man we saw earlier behind the screens. He says he now sees the lost champion has arisen again. Mysterio says that is a life he gave up a long time ago. The man asks him to join him. Mysterio tells him he knows what the man is wanting to do and he will do everything he can to stop him. The man says he didn’t expect anything else. The droid selfdestructs and Mysterio leaves the scene. Some later Graem appears back in the control room. He puts something back in the vault and sees the collonne of hummers and limousine has appeared.

Kamon and Sara get out of the limousine, watching over the giant building, seeing Graem appearing from it. Graem and Kamon greet eachother as old friends and Sara has a more businesslike relation with Graem, whose colleague informs Sara all the lodgings are in the Crestmore Hotel. Glenn requested them to be brought there, since they might be tired of the trip. Kamon thinks it might not be a bad idea for them to rest sometime so they can do the rest tomorrow. They all agree and set of to the hotel.

In the meantime Jen wakes up on a rooftop. The rooftop of the Crestmore Hotel! She looks around and sees she is been surrounded by a seal which keeps her from getting out. She still has her own dueldisc. Lean, however, is waking up in a dessert. He starts walking, not knowing where to go……

Chapter 5 “Double Duel! Cyber`s and Heroes vs Undead and Shadows! (1)”

Kamon and Sara are relaxing at the hotel. Sara is checking the website of McFlinn and tells Kamon some company is buying stock on McFlinn. However Kamon is sleeping. Then Sara gets a phonecall from the police department of Hisehade City that the cab in which Lean and his friends were, was found destroyed, with bodies of a couple of people in it. They all live, but three out of five are in critical condition and they know two other were there, but they were gone. Sara thinks about waking up Kamon, but then sees he is sleeping quietly. She thanks the police officer that warned her. She decides to go for a walk.

In the meantime, Kamon can’t sleep. He is dreaming that he is running from a shadow who is following him. The shadow summons two giant monsters, whose immense power follows Kamon. Kamon however is able to summon the Mega-Eternal-Seadragon, his protector. The levels of power of those two monsters are equel. Kamon jumps on his dragon and flies away, but the shadow creates a third monster, a dragonlike creature and follows him. The shadow laughs at him, telling Kamon can’t escape, he will always be with him, if he wants it or not. Kamon`s Seadragon and the dragon of the shadow fire at the same time a blast.

Lean is still walking around, wondering where the heck he is. He is lucky he has his deck and dueldisc with him, but he wonders where he is. Then suddenly he hears something and turns around to see a little pretty girl watching him. He asks whether she knows how to get out of here. She says no, but her mother might know. Lean has no choice and agrees to come with here. He arrives in the girl`s tribe and sees people he recognises as amazons. But they all look like Amazon Archers, the card. He asks whether there are also men in the tribe. The girl laughs and says no, only men as slaves. The girl transforms into a witch and summons forth two Flare-Salamander`s (each 1500/800). Their fires makes sure that Lean can’t use his own deck to protect him. Not even the spirit`s of Leanbroww or Zen-Aku can reach him now. The witch tells him he can scream but no-one will hear him.

Sara returns from a short walk when the gardiner of the hotel tells her someone is waiting on top of the roof of the hotel. Thinking it is Kamon, Sara goes up to the roof. The eyes of the gardiner flash from light blue to red and back again. She arrives at the rooftop and finds Jen, which she recognises as one of the friends of Lean. She asks whether everything is ok. Jen said she shouldn’t have come, it is a trap. Two man come from behind the little storage on the roof and says she was absolutely right, it is a trap. For Sara and Jen both! They reveal to have dueldisc`s and decks so the only way this will be settled will be through a duel. They say if they win, they can do anything they want with the ladies. Sara agrees and tells them if the ladies win, they are free to go. The men agree. It will be a double duel. When one of the teams lose the duel is over and the other team is the victor. The ladies agree. Sara reveals she has a dueldisc and a deck as well. The two men say they are Cadice and Sean. Let`s duel!

Cadice – 4000
Sean – 4000

Sara – 4000
Jen – 4000

In the meantime is Kamon sleeping. In his dream he is still been hunted by the shadow. He lands in a forest and the shadow flies over, not seeing Kamon who is in the forest. He recalls the Mega-Eternal-Seadragon and goes on, when he sees something moving in the trees. Those are Armed Ninja`s. Summoning his Des Dondagalf again, he defeats them one by one. He starts to get dizzy and falls down, being broken and tired.

Sara and Jen look terrified as Cadice says he will start the duel. Cadice draws out an extra card and summons his Ninja-Spear (0/1000) in defencemode. This allows him to summon a Dark-Ninja (100/100) in defencemode. Then he sets one card facedown and activates the fieldmagiccard Dark-Dimension of Power. His Dark-Ninja gains 500 attackpoints and can attack directly now. So he does and strikes Jen (3400). Ninja-Spear (500/1500) can attack now directly as well and lowers Jen`s lifepoints to 2900. He ends his turn and now Jen can go. She draws her sixth card and activates the magiccard Gift of a Hero. She summons Time-Hero Vanguard (1300/1200) in defencemode. Then she sets a card facedown and ends her turn. Sean plays his magiccard Swords of Revealing Light and his Skull-Dagger-Knight (1000/1000) in attackmode. Then he plays the magiccard Undead Magic Revival, which allows him to bring back one magiccard when it is send to the graveyard. He secures the stay of Swords of Revealing Light with this. Further he can deal 300 lifepoints worth of damage because of his Skull-Dagger-Knight and the level of Skull-Dagger-Knight raises to 1300/1000 and then to 1800/1500 (because of Dark-Dimension of Power). So Jen`s lifepoints drop to 2600 and Sara`s lifepoints to 3700. Sara goes ahead with her turn and plays the magiccard Cyber-Base. She then summons her Cyber-Turtle (1300/2000) in defencemode. She says because of Cyber-Base she can summon a 5-star monster directly. Further because of the effect of Cyber-Turtle she can remove a card from the game and gain 500 lifepoints (4200). A second effect allows Sara to pay 1000 lifepoints (3200) and summon another cyber-monster to the field, so she summon Cyber-Cyclops (1200/1000). According to it`s effect, Sara can destroy one card in each of the hands of all players. So she destroys Jen`s Time-Hero Jetborg (2200/2000), Cadice`s Polymerization and Sean`s Dark Shadow-Master (1000/2000).

Cadice – 4000
Sean – 4000

Sara – 3200
Jen – 2600

Kamon is still heavely breathing in his sleep, but wakes up. He gets up and sees Sara is gone. However, when he opens the door, he sees a long hallway. He asks himself how that can happen and goes on. Suddenly out of nowhere, three small droids appear. Kamon recognises them as K7 Des Scizzors (1000/1000). He tries to draw a card from his deck, but he is to tired. He gets taken by those Des Scizzors` and Kamon asks himself whether this is possible in a dream. This is more like a nightmare. Then suddenly all out of nothing, a mysterious woman appears. She draws a sword and destroys all three the Des Scizzors. Before Kamon can reach out to her, she tells him he is one of the chosen ones to stop Ecalypto from happening. Kamon asks what Ecalypto is. The woman disappears and Kamon starts walking through the hallway.

Cadice says he’ll use his magiccard Shadow-Ninja Armour to unite his Ninja-Spear and Dark-Ninja to Dark-Ninja - Spear Soldier (2000/1800, now 2500/2300). Then he’ll use his Double-Shadow magiccard to unite his Shadow-Flare (100/300) with Dark-Ninja – Spear Soldier to Dark-Flare – Spear Ninja (2600/2200, now 3100/2700). He attacks T-Hero Vanguard, but Jen activates his special ability to increase his attack and defence by the difference in lifepoints (1300/1200 + 1400 = 2700/2600). Dark-Flare – Spear Ninja attacks and leaves Jen with 2200 lifepoints. Sara says she’ll take care of the problem and uses Cyber-Cyclops` other special ability to pay 600 lifepoints (2600) and bring back T-Hero Jetborg (2200/2000). Jen thanks her and Sara tells her no problem. Jen draws a card and plays Time-Hero Quantumfrog (1400/1200). Then she plays Fusion-Gate and fuses her Quantumfrog and Jetborg to Time-Hero Quanjetfrog (1800/1600). She plays out it`s special ability to deal 900 lifepoints of damage to both players (Cadice = 3100/Sean = 3100). Quanjetfrog, Cyber-Cyclops and Cyber-Turtle are all destroyed by the Dark-Dimension of Power. This gives both Cadice and Sean 750 lifepoints (Cadice = 3850/Sean = 3850). Sean plays his magiccard Burning Crystal, summoning two Zombie Crystal Token`s (0/0 each, now 500/500). He summons Glandalan (1200/800). Then he decides to play a magiccard called Zombie-Fear, which in turn activates Glandalan`s special ability, to add 300 attack – and defencepoints to him (1500/1100). He then ends his turn. Although he wants to defeat them, he fights with honour. They can’t attack with Swords of Revealing Light. Then it is Sara`s turn and she plays the mighty Cyber-Dragon (2100/1500). And she has another in her hand, she needs one more to form the ultimate Cyber-End-Dragon!

Cadice – 3850
Sean – 3850

Sara – 2600
Jen - 2200

In the meantime is Lean captured in the tribe and two Hell-Dog`s (each 1200/1000) are guarding him. The witch says she is Pamadala. She is an apprentice of the mighty Gaianadon. She was told that he would come. She was told to sacrifise him in order to give him the power of the Devil. Lean says his friends will find him. Pamadala tells him not to count on them. She shows him images of Lean`s friends inside an hospital and the grave of Jen (although we know better). He could also join them and fight for a better world. Lean says never, never will he join her. Pamadala says he will be sacrifised in 4 hours then.

Countdown until sacrifise: 4:00:00 hours
