The group of friends laughed. They loved to play out in the Nocturna Fields after dark, gazing up at the star-spotted sky contrasted with the drifting fireflies and thinking of new ways to cause trouble, but in this quite calm moment, they were just playing a small game of tag. Jayko was ‘it.’

Jayko was the leader of the bunch, with his jet black hair and bright blue eyes. He was about average height, and yet he seemed to have small control over his friends, including Sal, who was almost a foot taller than him. He ran towards one of his friends in an attempt to tag him, when the sky lit up strangely.

They all looked up in amazement to see a bright blue streak fly down and slam into the ground probably a mile away. Everyone fell to their knees from the tremor of earth.

Jayko stood, and looked to his friends with a smirk.

“Last one to the meteor buys ice cream!”

Everyone took off running in the direction of the bright light that had hit the ground. Jayko was determined to be first, even though his stamina wouldn’t allow it. He ended up being the fourth person to the impact site, following Sal who was in the lead. As the other three caught up, they all gazed.

They looked into the small crater caused by the meteor, only to find that it was not a meteor, but a strange crystal-like apparatus, covered in strange symbols that none of them could hope to comprehend. Sal started to approach, but Jayko held up a hand to stop him.

He jumped in and slid against the side of the crater before approaching the strange machine. He reached out to touch it, before he screamed.

His friends, startled, started jumping into the crater, but Jayko was already floating out of the gapping whole. He arched in the air, turning around as his hair turned white and stuck strait up, his eyes flashed purple and lavender stripes etched onto his cheeks…

Do you know who I am?

Jayko dropped into darkness.

Soon, he found himself standing in front of Nocturna City, with the Lunaluna Space Center in flames.

Jayko looked to the left and saw his friend Sal, only to find him in a black, tight outfit, his jet black hair spiked and his eyes red. He looked down into a puddle of water, and looked at his new appearance, with a strange smirk. His clothes were white, with a cloak draped elegantly around his shoulder. He started to ask Sal what had happened, when he realized he had no control over his speech. He turned around to see an army of strange, creatures with different colored crystals pulling out of him. His mouth moved, and a voice came out, but it was not Jayko’s.

Void! We are now ready to concur this universe! Our last attempt was failure, but this one shall be exemplary!

The strange creatures cheered, but not in a happy tone. There was a sense of bloodlust in the air. Jayko was shocked, but his body wasn’t. Out of thin air, he pulled a lance with a crystal handle and a strange tipped, shaped like a torn keyhole.

To victory!

He aimed the weapon forward, and a keyhole appeared in mid air. A beam shot out from the tip, and hit the keyhole, sending pulses that seemed to tear the fabrics of space…

There was a burst of light, and a bright portal appeared. Jayko led Sal and his troops onward…

Who are you?

You may call me Overlord.

They marched onwards to a new battle.

[Start at Neos Town... it's a bright town flashing with neon lights with gamblers and casinos everywhere!]

As Raz entered the light-filled city of Neos, his heart thumped. His shield in hand, he sat on the curb pondering on his dillema:

"I need to get some munny...", he thought "how?"

He lifted himself up, shook off dust from his rear-end and went off. His heart still thumping. Something was about to happen; he knew it. At the bottom of his heart, he knew that he was about to enbark in an adventure he'd never dream to think of.

As he paced the huge city, he looked at the skyes. He then heard the sound of people. People and money. He searched arround and entered an alley. He heard lots of chatter, people talking, and machines running. he saw people gambling and thought he'd never get money honestly. No way one of the security guards would let him in one of those loud, noisy cassinoes.

His heart thumped even faster, he could hear it among the loud noises of the people arround him.

"Stop!" he screamed

His shield, glowing in synch with his heart. The faster his heart beat, the stronger his shield shone. And suddenly, they obeyed him. Everyone was frozen, as if under a spell. The noises stopped, everyone stopped talking, and the machines stopped spinning.

"Stop spell." He thought, looking at his shield. "Haven't done that in a while."

Suddenly, it hit him -- he remembered. He ran, not worrying about the safety of others. He jumped over the counter of one of the cassinoes, oppening the register as he went along. He took as much munny as he could, before he ran in fear that his spell would run out.

Tommy had been visiting Neos Town for quite some time on holiday from his usual job with the Power Rangers. He wasn't one for gambling, but he did enjoy the lights, and the crooks. He had been keeping parts of the town safe on his trip, taking thrill in the chase. Now, as he stepped into view of an alley filled with flashing lights and the sound of coins dropping, he saw panic. People were yelling that their money disappeared, and someone said the register was empty. Tommy saw a figure "booking it" around the corner, several coins spilling from his bulging pockets.

"Thief!" Tommy called out. "Stop it right there!"

The boy had obviously ignored him, and thus Tommy had to pursue him. He pressed some buttons on his wrist communicator and his white shark cycle came whizzing around the corner in a flash of light. He hopped on and yanked the accelerator forward. As he neared the boy he noticed that he was carrying a peculiar shield shaped like a hexagon. He dismounted his cycle and drew Sabra, his mighty blade.

"By the order of the Power Rangers! I command you to stop right there!" Tommy cried out from under his helmet. "Resistance is futile! Hand over the money so i may return it to its rightful owners!"

It didn't look like the kid was listening to him. All Tommy could do was wait.

Unexpectantly, Raz hears a roaring motor.

"Thief!" A voice called out. "Stop it right there!"

Ignoring the voice, Raz kept running. Running and thinking:

"My spell didn't work on him. He must not be from this world." He thought. He didn't stop running to wonder, though, as he was panicking and just couldnt bring himself to stop.

At this time, the spell had run out.

Neos Town was well known for its Gamblers, Hustlers, and otherwise Cheating folk. Where Civil blood makes Civil hands unclean. Where the lights fog up the night sky, so that you are almost unable to see the clear stars twinkle in the darkness. Not that there was much of a twinkle in them. After all, why would any star wish to twinkle in a land so depressing as this? It needed a friendly touch, a bit of cheering up. This scene was just a bit to depressing for one girl.

Abigale could do the trick. She always could, and was always willing. She searched the alley ways of Neos, not always the brightest idea if you're looking to play it safe, But Abby sure wasn't. She was looking for trouble, thinking of stirring it up even, if she had to. But only if she had to. No reason to create more chaos in this town. As if it honestly needed it.

The girls' sigh lifted through the thick noise of the City life. It's amazing she could even hear herself think through such ruckus. But it was the perfect place to start something going.
Or so she thought, if the place had not already been robbed. The girls' eyes glazed over once she saw the scene. Her idea had totally been stolen! Literally! Some chump beat her to the act. She had it all planned out in her head; She would visit the winners and distract them while taking just a small bit of their earnings, slowly gathering Munny all around. No one would suspect her. How perfect was that?

But a new idea had just come into mind. She didn't want to take this guys' sloppy seconds, she wanted a crime all her own. Maybe not in this area, but she was going to go through with it. All she needed was some paint.

Luckily, not far down the street, there was a Casino under Construction, and the outside was lined with ladders, paint, brushes and more. Everything Abby would need for her little shenanigan.
She took a can of paint and a few brushes, sneaking it around a rather popular Pub around these area's. As she made her way around, passed all of the Pub-goers, she spotted a wall that would suit her perfectly. By now, in case you had not caught on to Abby's trick, she was going to vandalize this wall with her name, for as long as the paint would last. Her name would be etched into history.. For a little while.

Popping open the metal can, the lid clashing to the ground, she struck her brush into the paint and slopped it up on the wall. In her slopping, a rather awkward A had been painted, rather crooked, but it was vandalism. It didn't need to be perfect.

Somewhere in the middle of town, in front of a foutain, a loud ripping noise pierced the air, and everyone ducked in fear. Then someone stood and pointed near the foutain.

"Oh my god!"

A keyhole-shaped light appeared just above the highest sprinkle of water, but the light was flickering, and the loud ripping noise came over and over again. Suddenly, the area between the light in the keyhole slashed open, and a bright light poored out. Out came a very peculiar creature.

It could be described as humanoid at best. It sood on two legs, completely naked, though absent of genitalia, and it was hunched over in a strange way. Its skin was white, almost blinding, and sprouting out of it in strange places were black crystals. It looked at the nearest human with no eyes to speak, it just moved its head to face him. It spoke horsely with no mouth...

"Sooouuuls..."

It put it's arms downward and pounced onto the human, scratching at it until it pierced the man's skin as if were paper. Strangely, instead of blood, he just seemed to be hollow. The creature ripped in different places until it could reach inside, and pulled out a pale green-glowing orb, and it devoured it.

The man retched. Where the holes in his bodies formed, pale green crystal structures stretched out of his skin, then his body when white and his hair and face disappeared, and he ripped his clothes off, turning into one of the creatures that just attacked him.

The attack began. They jumped from human to human as they ran around in pure horror.

Emerging at the sight was none other than Jayko, only he looked a few years older now and slightly more mature. He stood in his white gown and cloak, and pulled forth his silver rod fastened with beautiful crystals.

So he ran, as fast as he could. Through lights, people, places... He even saw a girl painting a wall.

Suddenly, he heard a ripping noise. It was far away, but it was so big that the shockwave knocked him off his feet, dropping all the money and bruising his arm.

He heard terror and pandemonium comming from what seemed to be about 5 miles away. A flashing light hit his eyes, comming through the people above. Raz gets up.

"Cure!" He called. Bells came uppon him, and shone with green light. And there, as if by magic, the bruise was gone. Ignoring the lost Munny, Raz runs desperately towards the keyhole-shaped rip in the sky, seeing as it was where the ruckus had started.

Falthor sat int he dark of the hotel room. He sat with his feet propped up against the table in the center of the room, while leaning backwards. He sat and thought, it was a bad thing when Falthor was bored enough to think.

Why am I here again. Oh yes, this is where they predicted it would happen. It has to, I've followed the prophecies, and they all lead here. This is where the revolution will begin. Falthor's train of though was cut short, by a door opening and a scream coming from another room. He suspected that a local had found the body of the inn keeper pinned to the wall with shards of metal, his face burnt halfway off. The villain chuckled quietly. Standing up, he stretched his wings and crinked his neck. It's been a while since I've heard agony. He walked out of the room, stragely silently for a man made mostly of metal. He walked into the lobby and saw a little girl no more than seven years old.

She looked up at the large figure standing before her. Ivory white hair, demonic wings, mechanic body...and that smile. The evil smile. The little girl turned and tried to run outside, but two metal creatures appeared in the doorway and obstructed her escape. She was cornered.

Falthor took a step forward only to meet the horrified screams of the little girl. The two metal creatures behind her lurched forward and took her in their grasp. Falthor smiled and looked out the window. "Child, you chose a bad time to be in Neos Town." Outside slick white creatures with no faces were causing havoc, attacking citizens everywhere. Stepping outside, the mechanical beings followed Falthor. Instantly one of the face-less creatures ran to Falthor, and he stopped it. "You want souls...right? They don't get better than this." And at Falthor's command the two metal puppets threw the child into the arms of the soul-eating creature.

He watched in delight.

The being devoured the little girl, pulling her purple soul from her body, turning into another creature with purple crystals jetting from her body. The two crystalized beings turned to the strange one with wings but did not attack...

"...Soul?"

They stepped back in awe. They had never come across such a being that seemed empty of a soul. One of them ushered away while the other one stared without eyes.

Teleporting on the spot, a tall, white-clothed man stood infront of the winged man with a smile on his face. A horse voice erupted from his mouth that would not suit him normally.

Getting to the point as quickly as possible, he stated clearly, "I sense you have enormous potential for power. Who are you?"

As Raz crosses the horizon, filled with panic. He is interested to see a commotion of white, human-like creatures gathered in a hotel room. This gathering, however, did not stop most of the creatures from attacking the public. The more people the creatures attacked, the more creatures were formed, as they seemed to feed on the panicking townsfolk.

Raz felt guilty of stealing all that money and never returning it. He felt he should do something about the on-going situation. "Gravita!" He scramed nervously, as his shield shone a dark purple color. Raz jumps and smashes his shield on the floor, taking effect on the spell, which quickly pulls all of the creatures to the ground. The shield shatters; then and there, Raz knew he was low on Magic Power, the energy that allowed him to cast his various spells.

Raz explodes in a burst of anger, as he nervously runs over to one of the mysterious creatures. Nothing was going right, as he thought in his point of view. First the Munny, then the guy in the motorcycle... nothing was going the way he thought it would. Raz lost track of what he was pondering about as he is surprizingly "woken up" by one of those mysterious creatures, from behind. Raz braces himself with his naked arms, as the creature slashes across them with its claws. Raz falls on the ground, eyes closed. Hoping the crature had not done to him as it had to others.

I've been everywhere.
I've been nowhere.

A trek this immense had never been done before. To have covered the entirety of the galaxy in existence and that of nought. But to have completed that journey thrice, that was something to boast about. Too bad he never spoke....

Yes, the traveler was making his rounds again. As yet again, the galaxy was about to take a turn for the worst. In return, Auron had to once again turn his back on his path, and make the trek back. He ran, yet no sound was uttered from the toungues of his sandals. He panted, yet no air moved. He was old and tired, yet he could continue on forever. Too much thought over him could kill. He was a paradox of the purest variety, yet he was also so murky.

Renowned for being able to protect the best and brightest, Auron was almost to Neos Town. There, he would begin the stand against the darkness. Light surrounded him as approached the door between worlds. It had been broken. Tears were evident upon the magical barrier. He stepped from beautiful tranquility into morbid chaos. As soon as he entered the scene, Auron turned. He sensed her somewhere. He had to get there before they did!

He turned a corner, to see some monster divulging itself to a feast of useless souls. He shivered and continued, determined to reach his goal before he failed. Finally he saw it. Auron surged forward, his humble feet propelling him all the way to the vandalizing girl.

"Abigale. Come." He uttered. Time was of the essence. He spoke with meaning, so much that those two words were all he needed as he drew his Katana with his left hand, and analyzed the situation. A few steps in front of him, Auron saw a boy being attacked by one of the vile creatures. With a sigh, Auron lurched forward and slashed at the monster. It reeled back in pain, and at that moment, Auron put away his sword and grabbed the boy[LandShark]. He placed the limp body across his shoulder, and returned to his original spot, waiting for Abigale to come to her senses. Everything could be explained later on. Now, they had to get out.

The screams. Oh god, the screams. That was all that filled Abigale's ears as she assessed the situation. These screeched of terror had come from virtually Nowhere. Literally right out of thin air. She was curious, yes, but also determined to finish what she had begun. She had just finished the G and was working on the next A in her name.

But more screams interrupted her work. They were drawing ever closer. Abby was beginning to worry. Maybe it was that thief from before? Of course. That had to be the answer.. He wasn't satisfied with his steal so he came back for revenge. Right? Oh, Abby sure hoped this was the answer. Her staff was leaning against the opposing wall.. maybe she should move it closer. Just a bit.. for safety of course. What with that thief running a muck and what not. He might come her way and-..

Oh what was she doing! Fooling herself, that's what. There was something going on and she was scared, Intimidated. As always. The weak girl.. always running from her problems, never doing anything about them but leaving them to rot with others. Sheesh, what was wrong with her? How could someone be so weak, yet act so strong? Who was she kidding, honestly. Any chimp could sense her power.. It was Slim to None. The most power she held in her hands right now, Her Crystal Staff. Without that she would be any normal girl.

How she liked that thought. Normal. Maybe she would have a family, a home, and some friends. She imagined herself surrounded by loved ones.. By Memories. How she ached for that dream to become reality. She lost herself in that dream world often, she had her own made-up friends and everything.
She was a nice girl.. not too spoiled, but she got what she wanted. Her family was wealthy, but her parents weren't around much. She had her siblings and the maids that worked at her family's Estate, and the select few friends from her High-Quality Boarding School. She missed her parents, reminiscing on how they would just take weeks off at a time to spend together. She recalled the vacations they took. Oh, what fun they had. The precious time they spent together. It was all so vivid, as if it was a real memory.

Then something hit her, a stone cold reality. She was remembering something.. she could see it now. Clear as day. There was a young girl, a young Abby. An older male stood over her. He was dressed in common rags. There was a slight smirk on his face as he broke a small loaf of dry bread in half and handed it to the young Abby. Her tummy had been strained on by the demons of hunger, as they pulled and twisted at her insides. This offering of bread was a Godsend.
She recognized him now.. Her older brother!
Now, if only she could recall his-

Abigale was yanked from her meditation. Someone had come to her.. they had spoken to her. In an instant, this new memory had been forgotten.. shattered into millions of fragments lost in her mind. Her mind snapped back to the real world, Screeching and all.

"Abigale. Come." The man said to her. Who was he? Abby snatched up her Staff, scrambling to stand and dusting herself off. That was odd- she didn't recall falling asleep. Ah well. The girl shrugged it off, and took a few steps towards this man. He had a boy slung over his shoulder now. Abby was unsure if she could trust him. She had even found herself thinking he was this mysterious thief that had ruined her plans.

With caution she spoke, "W-what do you.. want?"
There was an array of questions streaming in and out of her mind, But she found this more important than all the rest.

Auron was getting old. With age, came wisdom. But age did not only add to you, it also takes away, For Auron, his patience had been worn out by the tides. Each year was like anothr wave crashing over his body. Joints ached, his mind became fuzzy, and his hair lost its luster. Even his personality became more and more severe. From a constantly irritated man, he had transformed into a senile crazy geezer with only one goal in mind. Not only that, but he was inconsistent. Sometimes he displayed a tenderness only capable of an old man, but othertimes he was just evil.

Right now he was irritated.

Too many things were going on. People were dieing all around. Their sould were not even able to escape. How horrible. Auron shuddered at the thought. Not only that, but with every soul devoured, evil got that much stronger. Many of the people in the town tried to fight back, but they stood no chance. As Auron awaited the girl's reply, a smaller monster approached him, one of the soul eating variety. This one had smaller crystals, but its mouth looked ready to tear flesh from bone in a flash of combat.

Auron stood his ground apprehensively, and as soon as the monster leapt forward, he drew his sword and placed it in front of him, in a defensive fashion. The monster collided with the sword, and it was sent flying backwards, just as viciously as it had come forwards, at the old Ronin, beyond his years by countless millenium.

As some of the terrorized citizens saw Auron take care of the monster, they saw hope in the man's steel and courage. They flocked to him, and stood behind him. Auron sighed, and a tear fell from his eye. These people needed help. Bad.

By the time the droplet of water from the sage's face had hit the ground, three more monsters had turned their attention to Auron and his little group. With strength booming in his voice, Auron took charge if the situation like the experienced verteran that he was.

"Stay behind. Only courage can save you now." He stated, matter of factly as he usually did. he had fully recovered from his 'softie streak'. With his sword gripped tight in his hand, Auron rotated his shoulder. It popped, but Raz fell off. That was what Auron had needed. He was going to need all that he had to survive this. As an older male approached Raz and picked him up, Auron turned to him.

"Get everyone in a circle formation. Little ones and Abigale in the middile, able bodies on the outside. We will move back from the main square into the residential district, where the enemy has not stricken yet. Pick up any weapons and others along the way. We have no time, hurry! I will stall them as long as I can!"

Auron then turned to Abigale through the crowd. He mouthed two words to her. Guide them.

Auron then turned, and swung his great sword horizontally, knocking off one of the monsters' heads. But as soon as that happened, the other two leapt upon it, devouring it. Auron grimaced, and cleaved the other two. They howled in fiendish pain as they crumpled to the ground. Auron began to back up, until he was standing in the center of an alley, the survivors slowly but surely retreating to a more defensible position.

As he help his ground, Auron cast his gaze across the battlefield. He saw an evil being, with a face familiar to him. They locked eyes, and Auron shifted his collar and turned the other way. The man's gaze burned. Energy within him was corrupt beyond any kind of purification. "I guess it's true." Auron muttured in exhaustion, as he was forced to deflect another intense blow. "A guardian's job is never done. Even in death, I am worked like a dog."

Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa. What was going on? Who was this guy, and these people and those.. those creatures! Where did they come from! Abigale was in complete disarray. What did that man expect her to do? Abigale De Marquis, of all people. Impossible that she be able to help these people, much less guide them through this chaos that had apparently befallen the city. Who did they think she was, some goddess? If so, they were surely mistaken!

But nonetheless, the people that had gathered had made the circle. They had followed Auron's instructions word for word. Small children had clumped around her, while the adults and older folk had made a complete circle around the group. Abby was confused. Ok.. So, what now? She took a glance over towards Auron. He seemed to mouth something that she had a bit of trouble making out. Guy Hem? Hi there? It took her a few moments, but she finally figured out what he was trying to get to her. He wanted her to Guide them, obviously. But.. where? She barely knew this city, it was unfamiliar to her. Especially the Residential area. She only knew her ways around the Back Alleys. No more, No less.

Did he really expect her to take responsibility for this entire group? Oh, gosh. What a predicament she was stuck in now. But there was no time for questions. A creature leaped from the roof top and growled. From whence came more creatures, and that is when Abby decided to high-tail it out of there.

"Everyone.. uh.. To the Residential Area's. We have to take the back way, If they came from the Roof, they're coming from the town square." She called. A few elder men agreed, and led the group towards an alley that faced the Residences. Abigale sighed, clutching her staff tight in her fingers. There was a tight lump in her throat.. She could only pray nothing would bestow the chaos upon these people.

A few turns, a barbed fence, and a couple of new faces. These things the group faced along the travels to the Residency. The could hear the creatures screeching from afar, but nothing too close, so nothing too dangerous. It only took a few more minutes to reach the Residential area.

"Everyone, span out and gather as many weapons as possible. We need a big defense against these.. things. Does anyone know how they're killed?" She questioned. There was a slight hesitancy in the group. She sensed it. No one came fourth to answer. A look of terror was fresh on their faces. It was obvious; Realization had just hit them. And hit them hard, much like that of a metal bat to the skull.

Abigale sighed. How was she supposed to deal with this, again?

Tommy gave up on the little thief and turned his shark cycle around, speeding out of the alley. As he turned the corner, the heat from his tailpipes burning the air so you could see a blur trailing behind him, he noticed the pandemonium going on at the center of the town. Strange no-faced creatures with crystals jutting from their bodies were massacring the people all around.

Tommy slashed at them with Saba, his white tiger blade. But they were just too much for him to handle alone. He had to bring in the big guns now. He raised Saba into the air and turned to a screeching halt. As the creatures began to attack him, he summoned the powerful White Tiger Zord. A large part of the town square rose up and the Tiger Zord emerged from under ground. Tommy leapt into the air and landed safely inside the head of the giant, mechanical tiger.

He initiated the transformation of the tiger and it transitioned into Warrior mode, its white armor gleaming in the twilight. He pulled his saber out and began slashing and stepping on the beasts. Fireballs erupted from his chest and incinerated the creatures around him. He called out from his loudspeaker,

“Evacuate the area! I have the situation under control. Evade all beasts for the sake of your life!”

He swung his great sword once again, slicing several of the faceless creatures in half. But, in the distance he could see a tall, ominous figure with wings laughing at the onslaught. Tommy wondered why this person was not evacuating the area.

Even within the safe shell of his White Tiger Zord, the figure sent chills up his spine. Nevertheless, he ignored the white haired figure and continued defending against the seemingly endless wave of creatures coming at him.

As Abigail was thinking up her plan of isolation, Raz wakes up confused. He quickly turns arround, as an elderly person had instructed him to. As he turns, he sees a pretty, blonde-haired girl, who, at first glance, seemed to be unsure of herself. He recognized this girl to be the one he saw painting her name on the wall.

"Everyone, span out and gather as many weapons as possible. We need a big defense against these.. things. Does anyone know how they're killed?" Said the girl in distress. Raz raises the hand the shied was in. With his hand up, he firmly instructed:

"Magic." The crowd roars with fear. "He's crazy!" the crowd disaproved.

"No, I'm serious!" Said the boy, firmly "When I cast Gravita, the creatures seemed to be affected by it, and fell to the ground. Maybe magic is the key, I know numerous offensive spells as well as deffensive spells. Abigail, what can you do with your staff?"

As the people talked among themselves, a tremor shook the ground. A giant, white robot rose from the ground in the shape of a tiger; but not for long, as it soon transformed into a beautiful warrior with shining armor. a voice called out, telling the fearing townsfolk to evacuate the area. Raz recognized this voice as the commanding voice who had ordered Raz to stop, before all the pandemonium had begun.

Overlord spoke to the winged man with a since of urgency.

"We can finish this some other time."

He teleported on the spot some miles above the ground surface and looked down onto the onslaught, and smiled.

Suddenly, his eyes were covered by a blue, transparent rectangle, with information being strung to him. In bright white letters, at the end of the message, there was a little statistic:

SOUL POPULATION PERCENTAGE: 83%

So... 17% of the Neos Town was already covered by The Void...

Overworld laughed maniacally.

You must stop this! I won't allow you to take another world!

Hah, like as if you have a choice... Silence Jayko. You are the beholder of this universe's Apocalypse...

He smirked, and turned to the left, to find a high level member of the army of The Void. He was completely made of crystal; from his gourd shaped body to his cannon shaped arms and legs...

"So, how many of the Null have taken over the Population?"

Overlord replied, "Around 170..."

"Well, this is a rather small planet," he replied, speaking out of a crystalline face with no mouth. "Are you sure this planet is instrumental to your plan?"

Overlord smiled back. "This world is a crossworld of sorts, much like the Traverse Town you found yourself visiting when your soul was attached to your body."

"You know I have no recollection of that. Only you know of your previous life..."

"Well, Kaiser, if you continue devouring souls, at your rate you will transform to a more human-like form before the month's over. Now go back to Angel Grove, you have work to do."

"Yes, my lord." Kaiser had opened a door in midair, and stepped forth into the darkness pouring out, and as soon as the door closed, it faded away.

It is nice we learned to control the Corridors of Darkness...

Falthor just watched as the strangely powerful man disappeared before his eyes.
Power...He coulkd be just who I'm looking for. Falthor smirked and an evil shine glistened in his eyes. "So they want souls do they? I think I might help them out a bit. From the ground Falthor summoned ten more metal-like creatures. These were different than the first two however, they had longer appendages...used for capture.

"Go! Capture anyone in this world and bring them to the soul-eaters!" The metal servants lept off. Falthor flew to the rooftops and gazed over the chaos.

As the battle for Neos Town was being waged, clouds had made their way overhead, blocking out the glorious sun, and emnating an ominious feeling. Auron was not scathed, though, and continued on. Through ragged and painful gasps, he was able to get through. He knew that him standing in the road was the only thing preventing the monsters from getting to the townspeople. If they got to the townspeople, they would all perish. That was something that Auron did not want to happen. Even as pain coursed through his body, he had to continue on. The sturdy pillar of willpower would prevail, and keep Neos Town on its feet for as long as possible.

Auron now had five monsters staring him down. Each one was three feet away from him, still only in front of him. There were six others, dead. Each one had fallen to Auron;s blade, but at a price of course. Auron was a deep gash on the side of his left leg, and he felt a welt froming on his right one. He was nearing his ends, and was almost ready to turn around and flee back to the residential area. But, he had only lasted three minutes so far. He figured two more minutes, then he would turn and take flight, to avoid anymore outstanding injuries.

Meanwhile, back at the entrance to the residential area, the townspeople had taken initiative and had prepared to repel the oncoming monsters. Fenceposts were set up along the base of the road, and had been propped against a brick lower wall. It stretched for the entirety of the street, and no area was passable now. About two hundred able bodied citizens had prepared themselves, as well. Piles of rocks, for throwing, and other items that could be thrown at high and damaging velocities were found around the area.

Not only that, but these people had armed themselves. Lengthy poles, sharp at the ends, were found in their hands as they stood at their wall. Other make shift weapons were also found among them. The children and women had been placed in a house far from the wall, and the house had been barricaded to become a seige ressistant base. But even more importantly, the people at the walls were ready to face fear in the eye. They were ready to keep their homes and families safe. The ywere ready to fight for those who had already fallen.

As the protectors of Neos Town waited and waited, they finally welcomed a new sight. A warrior, clad in pure red, stumbled down the street. In pursuit, two of the monsters. Auron was running as fast as he could, but it was not fast enough. He was one hundred meters from the wall, when one of the monsters caught the back of his foot in their mouth. Auron's eyes widened, as he whirled around and smacked the monster across the face with the sharp blade of his sword. It howled and collapsed to the floor, as the other one made its move.

As Auron had been occupied by the other monster, the last one had seen a chance. Unable to pass it up, the monster leapt upon Auron. Without a single noise, the experienced sage simply let himself by tackled, but a few moments later, his sword stuck straight through the monster, as it squirmed and then was silenced forever.....hopefully....

Auron was soon upon his feet once again, and this time limped to the wall. He was soon at it, and men on the other side helped him across. When he was finally stable, he approached Raz and Abigale. He eyed the boy with a pure eye, and found what he had been looking for. He then turned his peircing gaze to the girl, and observed her. After a few moments, Auron turned watch the preparations continue at the wall. He sighed, and opened his mouth.

"These are troubled times, children. You, boy, are destined for greatness. Your time will be soon. Never mind magic, you have what is needed to defeat these foul beings right inside of you. And you, Abigale, are needed to guide this boy. That is what you are. Of course, you two are probably wondering then, what, am I? Well, children, I am a guardian. I protect nothing and everything. When someone needs a hand, I am there to lend it. Right now, our galaxy needs all of our help. With the rise of this new, lethal evil, we all must band together and repel the darkness with the light only found inside of us. Now we must hold the monsters at bay until further help arrives." Auron said, panting when he was finally done with his lofty speech. "Get your questions out now, before the fight begins please." Continued Auron with a sigh. These children were sure to have extra questions, considering their curious nature.

As he spoke, seventeen monsters approached the wall. They were just within sight, and were about one fourth of a kilometer away. They only had about five minutes until first contact between the two parties was made. Auron was making the most of this time, by getting destiny in order, and making an appointment with luck.

Abigale had been watching over the citizens, helping them build up the great wall that divided them from the pandemonium of Neos Town. She had not spoken many words, though, due to her shy nature. Not to mention she was rewinding the previous events through her mind repeatedly. She was trying to figure out what went wrong, how she had become involved in this entanglement. And who the heck was that guy? What did he want with her, why her? Abigale, of all people. Couldn't get a strong hero, no, go for the weak teenager.

There came an abrupt noise. Abby spun around quickly to find that an elder man had dropped his weapon. She bent over to pick it up, and handed it to him. He nodded in appreciation and got back to work. Guide Them. Oh, right, now she got it. These were just normal people. Abigale had something special about her. Her staff, right? She could wield it with the finesse of a great ballet dancer on stage. No, that can't be right. Abigale was anything but graceful, such as her ballet dancer counterpart. She was fierce. She might be weak, but she did have the mental will-power needed. Or, sorta. She was taken by surprise before, any Hero would act the same way in that sort of situation.
Right?

But that was nothing to worry of now. She was thinking to much, digging to deep into this subject. She had a mission of sorts to concentrate on. That man left her in charge of these people, and she was a woman of her word. No monsters would pass under her duty! She was almost sure. Almost. Just up until she heard that awful screeching of the damnable savages.

Rushing towards the wall, she watched as Auron leaped into the safety of it. She had missed the initial battle between him and the monsters, but all that mattered now was that he was safe, and under the jurisdiction of her crew. He turned to her accomplice first, Raz, he who she had yet to fully meet, much less learn his name. His gaze centered then on her.

One look at his eyes was all it took, and her eyes were set on the ground, shyness taking over. One glance and she was obedient. The man began to speak then, but she dared not look up. Her eyes were transfixed on the ground. She was barely even listening to him. She could only concentrate on one thing..

His eyes..

How intimidating, how fierce he seemed. Not the kind of man, she thought, who would spend his time protecting Children. She did however, hear him when he told them to ask their questions now. And, boy, did she have a billion.

"What's your name!" She blurted out, gripping her staff, "Where did these creatures come from? What do they do? How did you know who I was!" Her heart was racing, hot blood pumping through her veins. Her gaze finally reached his in a cold, hard glare. She demanded answers, and now.

Jayko's mouth frowned.

Hm, the citizens are attempting to revolt, are they?

He moved his free hand in a sprialing motion, speaking clearly...

"Meteor."

Suddenly, glyphs appeared around him, and they opened up holes in the fabrics of space. A huge, roaring sound erupted from each of them. Overlord laughed, and as the huge rocks emerged from their holes, they shot forth.

This will keep the common folk busy until the chosen one reaches his potential. Just think: a Void controlling the Key...

He thought back to the last demension he attempted to concur with happiness. He had the whole game almost won. He had the Key's weilder under his control, and he approached the door to Kingdom Hearts, and burst it open... but he wasn't expecting what approached him on the other side.

Meanwhile, on Neos Town, a rather old man with lavender robes and a silver beard had teleported next to Auron and spoke...

"If you need help, I am here to assist you. Maybe you have heard of me: My name is FuSoYa."

((Yay, allies for you. Meet FuSoYa. He knows every spell ever thought of. He is the master of magic. He may teach you a few things each. He's NPC, so you can use him as you wish. More info here: click

Just to counteract for now my character's uberness until you gain more power. ^^))

An old man poofed in front of them, quickly, as if from nowhere. He reported to Auron that he would help as much as he could; not surprisingly, Raz didn't pay attention. He was more worried about one of those weird, creepy soul-eaters. But this time it was different. It was if the creature was enbulfed in the crystals which would normally only look like bumps on their white, smooth skin. He watched as the creature jumped from building to building. Person to person. Soul to soul.

Raz followed as the creature came closer and closer to their safeguarded sanctum. That wall is no match for that thing. He thought. Without thinking, he ran towards it, pulling appart his elderly companions, and braced himself from the debris that came flying from when the creature kicked it open. As if in slow-motion, he observed as the pieces came towards him in mid-air. The creature prepared to slash Raz's face open hen Raz braced himself with the shield. Bam! The shield blew out of the way. Raz was knocked back in the same position. The shield was shattered.

"How did I survive that!?" He screamed opening his eyes. In front of him, in his own hands was a beautiful weapon. The infamous keyblade. He had studied its history and capabilities before, but he'd never seen any like his own. It was beautiful. The hand guard was cast of shiny metal forged to resemble angel wings, and colored as so. Out of it came a long appendage, which guarded his arm. It looked like his old shield, reminding him of the reflect spell. The blade itself was a sturdy block of old-looking rock, an aura emanating... Streched sideways out of the tip was a overly complicated design, all surrounding a heart. It's keychain was shaped like the symbol he subconciously remembered from when he was attacked by that soul-eater before. He pointed it to the creature and said with a grin:

"You're dead."

Auron almost smiled.

He held back a smile that would shatter his image, while listening to Abigale cry out in despair. Her curiosity had manifested itself almost into madness, as she screamed out questions. "What's your name!" She cried out first, which was smart indeed. "Where did these creatures come from? What do they do? How did you know who I was!" She followed up with another batch. Auron shook his head as he thought up an answer. He needed to tell her just enough to get by on, but if he told her too much, that would only lead to more and more questions. That would be annoying.

But, Auron's old mind stopped midthought, like a good clock that was tampered with. He watched as a new face appeared in front of him. Auron had never been one for names, but FuSoYa was one that deffinitely knocked his brain around. He was supposed to be watching over his own world, not tampering in others' affairs. But, Auron could use the help. Just as he was about to open his mouth though, he felt something. It tweaked his heart, and he winced in the awkwardness. It was the new keyblade.

Auron watched in awe as the boy charged forwards, not noticing his very own hand glow like a newborn star. Auron squinted against the bright light, then observed the new keyblade. It was like no other, a simple shield. That was something new. That kid was right, that thing was very dead indeed. With a keyblade, that child would soon be discovering powers beyond his own thoughts and dreams. Hopefully he could handle it, and would be able to carry the ressistance all on his own, until more keybladers were awakened.

Before he could leap into action, though, Auron had a few other things to take care of. He itched to leap into battle and fight beside the keyblader, but he had obligations, and a chance he could not pass up. To start it all off, Auron turned to the magic master, and said one word. "Healing!" At this, the startled sage burst into incantations, and magic leapt across the distance, and spread across Auron's body. He felt right as rain, and his injuries were mostly healed up. With a deep breath, he felt almost perfect. He shoulder his sword, and then turned to Abigale, the one with all of the questions, even though she had all of the answers inside.

"Abigale, my name is Auron. The creatures came from him." Auron spoke with a gusto, and gestured at Jayko. "The creatures do that." Auron then gestured at a lifeless corpse not to far away. "I know who you are because someone needs to, even if you do not. Now, help me take care of these monsters. Stick close to me, and we will take the left side. FuSoYa, you stay with Raz. Maybe he can learn something from you." With that, Auron burst off at a run, as many monsters leapt at what wasleft of the wall, and broke it to pieces. The townspeople scrambled back to the main house, and Auron encouraged them to do so. They had this taken care of.

As the monsters approached, the largest one, the one who had picked at Raz, approached him. Auron himself took the left side of the street, awaiting Abigale. There, he waited as two monsters formed up, and tryed to pin him between them. Auron smirked. They both pounced at the same time, and Auron spun his blade about. He twirled, and caught both beasts on his blade. Instead of cleaving through them, it caught on their crystal formations and so Auron stopped in midswing and they both flew against a building, and fell to the floor. They got up again, but were dazed. Auron motioned for Abigale to take them, as he turned his attention elsewhere.

Across the street, battles where being waged. FuSoYa screamed out words of age and power, and flames srouted up everywhere, sending the beasts sprawling. Raz started down the greater beast, and Auron watched as seven beasts surrounded him completely. They all spoke at the same time, somehow, and they hissed, "Give Up, old man." Auron shook his head, and replied as he rotated his shoulders. His cloak fell to the ground, as he readied his giant katana.

"That is not the way of the warrior." Those simple words gave way to a grunt as Auron launched his sword at the nearest beast's head. It stepped back at the last minute, narrowly avoiding the blade. Auron then focused himself, unlocking that old energy deep inside. He then plunged his blade deep into the ground, and with a crunch, flames shot up from the ground beneath each beast, as Auron muttured to himself the name of that technique. "Bushido Dragon Fang..." Auron then stepped back to observe his handiwork before casting his gaze towards Abigale, to see how she was doing. Inside, Auron asked himself a question. What is it that I see in her? Why do I care for her so?

Auron. Abigale repeated the name in her head. The girl let go a soft sigh. He hadn't given her as much information as she would've liked, She still had no real clue about the monsters. Although, spotting the situation she was about to be placed in, she figured that would clear up quickly.

"Alright, I'll help you." She spoke, frowning slightly. "But call me Abby. Abigale.. just doesn't suit me as well." She placed her staff forward, eying the boy before them, battling for them all. She wished she could be as brave as that, but inside she felt it. She felt the fear, nipping at her, the strong lump in her throat that just made everything that much harder. Through the corner of her eye, she spotted Auron fighting against those two creatures. He made it seem easy. They both did, Auron and the boy. But her fear kept her from moving. She was immobilized, struck dumb with cowardliness that even ashamed herself. Right up until she heard that Screech, the awful noise of those monsters.

One had approached her from the front, leaping, landing hunched over just a few feet in front of her. She could see the crystals all over its body; Ruby red, almost like they had been covered in blood. Luckily for Abby, the tip of her staff had a rather sharp edge. She could use that for attacking the beast, even though her staff was designed as more of a defensive weapon rather than offensive.

The beast abruptly lifted a clawed hand up to Abby, and she used the blunt edge of her staff to knock it away while running up close to get a good jab at it. She managed to pierce the creatures arm, but nothing more before it came swinging again. She used her staff to block his hand, but not without a scratch along her knuckles. She winced; the small wound stung like crazy.

"Suck it up, Abby." She whispered to herself, glaring, and managing to see the next monster that had spotted her. This creature came from the right, while to Abby's left there was the corner wall of a house. They were trying to trap her. She could tell as both monsters inched slowly forward, and she inched back, closer to the wall. The things could reason. That wasn't a good thing. Not at all, for you see, if a beast can reason, it had become more than a beast. Human-like, if you will, even if they appeared much less than Human.

Abby could reason, also, not very well, it seemed, not as she decided to attack the monster at her left. She plunged her staff deep into the beasts' torso, as it writhed and sunk to the ground, limp and dead. But in the meanwhile, she had completely forgotten about the first monster. Life-threatening mistake number one.

That is; she had forgotten about it, right until it tossed her like a rag doll back onto the corner wall. Abby cried out as her back connected with the corner, and she lurched forward. Her staff had been flung to the ground between her and the monster, and she eyed it before the monster. She could tell, she had that achy feeling, that the beast was going to reach for her only method of survival, her only weapon at hand. The two stood completely still. Both of them had the same objective; Reach the weapon and destroy the enemy. But only one would succeed.

Abby prayed it would be her as she jerked forward, arm outstretched, ready to grab for her Staff in a moments notice.

As Raz runs towards one of the greater beasts, he looks at his new-fangled weapon. He can imagine himself literally unlocking the secrets to this huge war. Never had he been in such affairs. He races towards the creature's ugly mug, and slashes it across; white light emanating. After each creature is slain, it seems, it leaves a trace of evil in the air. Raz, fighting with FuSoYa, find themselves cornered.

They look arround, back to back, and count 15 of the void arround them. As the creatures reel, ready to attack, both mages draw in breath. The monsters pounce in unison with the deffensive action.
"Reflect!" They scream with incredible togetherness. The creatures smash into the magical barrier, and break it; as intended by the spellcasters. The shattered wall seeks the attackers and makes like a sword. It rips them appart as the keyblade did.

FuSoYa informs Raz that he would go help the old and tired Auron, as the young keyblade wielder seemd to be fine by himself. Just as the old sage went, one of the void snuck up behind Raz and knocked him, high, up in the air. As soon as he felt the pain, Raz kicked, turning his body in mid-flight. He barrel-rolled towards his enemy, and hit it straight on one of it's crystals, smashing it and sending it flying for it's demise. Raz landed peacefully on the ground and turned his head towards young Abby in perril and watched as she faced the horrible beast.

Jayko's body fell from the heavens and to the world, right in the plaza where everyone was fighting. He looked to the perilous warriors and then to the one in the Zoid, and laughed.

"I must say, heroes, you have done better than I had initially expected. Now, I take my leave... to Angel Grove."

Overlord smiled evily, and turned to the door, the spear appearing to his hand. A door appeared, locked by chains of darkness. Jayko's arm lifted the weapon, and a small light went into the shackles, and they retreated beyond the door, bursting it open.

He laughed maniacally and stepped into the shadowy vortex that was the Corridoor of Darkness. He walked down the deep hallway of shadows, and broke down the door at the end with his blade, and stepped off into the new world. As the door opened, he found himself in a park. He immediately teleported out of sight.

I have to follow, its my only chance of acheiving the ultimate power that I deserve. Falthor Flapped his large strong wings, and was instantly propelled into the air. He couldn't help but wonder, what was the weapon that the other one had used. It was not a sword...but similar. He would ahve to learn more. Falthor thought, it must be connected to more power. I might get one of those one day.

Taking off through the air, he positioned his wings perfectly level as he glided through the air towards the first door. He soared through the door so fast that almost no one saw him. HE followed the set of stairways and encountered the open door.

After entering the door, Falthor looked around. As far as he could tell he was in a park. Now to find him.

((*Sob sob* I know...its so short! I had no time. Sorry.))

Legends have always been hard to believe or larger than life. That is how it has always been. Legends told tales of men beyond physical limits, groups that did the impossible, or weird happenings that were only plausible to a child. Little did those people upon the battlefield knowm though, there was a legend right there in front of them, fighting as he had always been, since the beginning of he story of his life.

Auron felt a sudden tweak in his stomach, and whirled around. He saw from the corner of his eye Raz taking down the monsters with ease, but the main sight was of Abigale, in trouble. The old man was by no means young, but anyone could tell you he was fast. In the blink of an eye, Auron dropped his bulky sword and surged forward in a red blur. He was so fast that as he ran, the world around him slowed down and he noticed things he had not had time to notice before. But, he strained to keep his attention focused on Abigale and the monster. As Auron came closer and closer, he noticed Abigale reach forwards for her weapon, as the monster did the same, albiet in a different fashion. Instead of reaching for the weapon, he was actually reaching out for Abigale, and he was in the motion of tackling her.

As he put on one last boost of speed, Auron could barely control himself as he planned his attack. As he came in for his kill, he muttered the words, "It ends now." As the last sweet word left his toungue, Auron planted his left leg as he was in motion, shifting his motion to his right leg as he shoved his right palm forwards into the beast's flank. A wave of kinetic energy left Auron as his speed and strength combined into a power the likes of which could not be gathered anyway otherwise. The blow struck the beast just as he was about to touch Abigale, but he flew away with the force of the blow, and was left with the mark of Auron's palm in his side.

Auron gasped for breath, being aged as he was. He was not used to this kind of 'exercise' nowadays. As he struggled to regain his breath, he motioned for Abigale to pick up her weapon, as well as his, as he leaned against the building, breathing hard. FuSoYa aproached, but Auron gasped as he motioned for him to help hold off the monsters. It was then, as Auron's eyes were clouding over, that he saw the figure enter the door. Clarity snapped back into his mind like a strong chill, as he regained his strength and supported his own weight once again.

He dashed towards the central plaza, tugging at Abigale, Raz, and FuSoYa as he headed towards the door. Finally able to talk, Auron said, "Raz, keep that door open with your magic. Abigale, hold my sword please. We all make the jump at the exact same time, alright? And FuSoYa, I guess you are coming along, too!" Soon enough, the group was close to the closing door. It was shifting constantly, becoming smaller and smaller.

With one last grunt, Auron jumped into the door, pushing everyone else in along with him. After that, everything went black. Jumping doors was not a stranger to him, and he expected to be waking up in a few moments, in the new area. Once he woke up, he planned to make sure everyone was okay, take a nap, get organized, then hunt the figure from before.

In the midst of his fighting, Tommy saw a dark figure drop from the heavens. The figure opened a sort of door out of nowhere and went into it, as did the suspicious winged figure.

Tommy launched a couple fire balls down at the creatures, then shifted his White Tiger Zord back to its Tiger Mode. He let out a sonic attack that blew back the relentless beasts and lept from the cockpit of his Zord. His Sharkcycle zoomed beneath him and he landed firmly on the seat. He sped off towards the door, while slashing at the creatures.

Tommy's Sharkcycle launched into the dark corridor. Into nothingness. He felt him conscious slipping away and he blacked out.

Now he was lost. Lost in a dream of his home land of Angel Grove. In his dream he did not see the prosperous land that he was used to, but instead flames everywhere. The faceless creatures were everywhere, destroying his companions. This was definitely an omen, but Tommy could not wake from this nightmare.
