"Nnn, you know i'm not a little kid. But...yea, friends. I suppose i can't blame you."

Kusake looked up.

"It's starting soon. If my timing's accurate, they should be receiving the trick tenth question by now. We have to ready ourselves.

[Jake]

"Should we go to the forest now and wait? I mean, our Jutsu will fair well in there, and the other Jonin wouldn't be suprised if some of the children die off."

She smiled a venomous smile.

"It would be fun."

Mars was still unconsious. He finally awoke after everyone left.

"What happened?" He had a splitting headache. He looked around, and saw nonone. He thought he would go back to konoha. and continue his mission. He left, and went back to the classroom.

When he arrived back. No one was in the room. He looked at the decagon shaped hole from before. Mars walked into the hallways, and saw an open door.

Mars walked inside, no one was there either. I hope that little blonde girl is okay...

"Just what i was thinking, ha. Let's go."

Kusake and Viinasu flickered into the forest of death, leaving behind rose petals. He stood on top of the gate nd held his hand above his eyes.

"Yeah, they're coming."

He ducked into a dense tree and turned to Viinasu.

"A whole mob of genin, i say. It's too bad i couldn't view any of them while i was incognito, so i guess we'll just have to pick them off like flies and see which ones actually live to tell the tale."

(Tox, i'm long gone and i don't wear my headband where you can see it)

[Hack Slasher]

Kadiyet regains contions. He slowly and shakedly stands up with, he is still beat and bleeding.

"I have to go back to the village..."
"WAIT! Those 2 people who beat me... they are going to kill the kids... i have to get there fast!" Kadiyet hurried down the mountain ignoring his pain.

[Purp]

Kadiyet rushed the best he could to the Jonin leading the genin toward the forest of death.

"Wait!" He said. "You have to listen to me! Enemy ninja have invaded the village; They're-"

"Woah, there. Take it easy. Of course there are foreign ninja here. The chunin exams are open for all the villages."

"No, these two, they're going to kill the kids!"

"When these kids accepted to enter the chunin exams, they were aware that they may get killed. I don't see what the big deal is."

"I-..."

Blowing him off, they just continued on their way and approached the Forest of Death's gates. some of the genin seemed hesitant, but they went with the crowd anyway.

"So many of them!" Whispered Kusake from inside the tree. "Youth is a beautiful thing, isn't it? Vinasu? Ha, i can't wait."

The Jonin announced that the Forest of death and opened the gat.

"Okay, everyone best of luck and try to remember one thing; Just don't die!" He opened the main gate and flickered away.

It's begun, Thought Kusake. Now to show these kids what the art of a ninja can really do!

[Jake]

Viinasu was standing in the branches of a large tree, spying on all of the children who were intering the forest alongside Kusake. She made a movement signaling Kusake to follow, and silently they hopped from tree to tree through the forest. She was watching the children carefully. None seemed to clever to take cover, but they probably had never done anything remotely close to this.

She smiled as she looked to Kusake.

"I bet I could hit this whole group with my Mind Seed Technique."

Mars hadn't a clue what to do, there was no one around, but that was because of the chunin exams, in the forest of death.

I might as well go check out what they're doing... Mars walked outside, some genin we're still running to catch up with the group. Mars let out a sigh, and began to walk out into the forest.

A younger boy bumped into mars as he was walking, Mars turned around, his head covered up the sun, his Utsurokon still activated, it made the little boy shriek in terror. He dropped his bag of supplies, and ran back into the village.

... Mars continued into the forest. He saw the large group of Genin walking into the forest. They all stopped, and a jonin in the front of the crowd said.

"Okay, everyone best of luck and try to remember one thing; Just don't die!"

The gates opened, there was an awkward silence. Mars was in the back of the crowd, he jumped into a tree, and jumped from branch to branch, it was better then making his way through the crowd. Mars came down, and was lurking in the bushes, awaiting for something to happen.

[Purp]

"As easy as that'd be for us to take out the skilled genin along with the useless ones, you already got your chance."

Kusake looked on as the ninja entered the forest and as the group divided into the numerous squads.

"Besides, hitting them while they're all clustered together near the gate would make them scatter and alert the elite. Besides threatening our mission, it'd be like a painter just glopping his paint onto his canvas."

As Mars leaped into the forest, Kusake held completely still. He recognised him from before.

That boy, the one that pirsued me. I don't like this guy; I think he's expecting us. Grr...

[Hack Slasher]

Kadiyet ran up to Mars.

"Oh my, you are the one from the mountain" Kadiyet said to Mars, "listen its dangorus in there there is 2 ninjas waiting to kill everybody you have to help me stop them! So what do you say help me or die?" kadiyet said as he very slowly walked into the forest pulling out his katana.

Hakida followed the rest of his class into the forest, with his entourage. It included the dogs; Haru and Kurisu, and Hakida's team; Suriko Uchiha, and Yunaka Hatake. Together, they could force out some very skilled combos, but each genin was close to useless alone. As they entered the forest, they all knew that they had to stick together, or else they could die.

They walked in, and immediately began to search for a base camp. When Kurisu, the wise old dog motioned to stop, they all knew that he had found the best place. It was in an open area, but a small hill rose up to the east, creating a small cave where they could easily defend themselves.

There, they all sat, each thinking. They had all already formulated their plans, but now where waiting for something to happen..

[Purp]

Kusake screened the teams and saw a genin team from the Mist village that looked confident. The leader of the group carried a small sword resembling a cleaver and they wandered into the forest.

"Viinasu, I'll have to get back to you. I see a weed that could use some pruning."

In an instant, he was gone with a small ruffle of the leaves. In the treetops, Kusake followed the team until they get into the deep part of the forest.

Mmm...now's my chance. Hiding camoflage jutsu!

Kusake performed his hand seals and became invisible to the naked eye. He jumped onto the ground between the second boy and the kunoichi.

"Hey, you hear something?" the second boy said.

"Yeah, we should keep our eyes open for anything...", said the leader.

The girl just nodded. Still invisible, Kusake grew vines from his wrists that hardened into long, dagger-like spikes with thorns.

In an instant, the two just died, their chests spurting blood out of holes that seemingly just appeared.

"W-what!? WHO'S THERE!?"

From besdies the corpses, Kusake reappeared and the bloody spines retracted.

"A well-done portrait is done with firm strokes and delecate twists of the wrist. Wouldn't you agree?"

"What are you talking about, Ya freak!?"

"I see, a staunch critic. Well, I'm ready to express myself in a way that will leave you breathless. Heh, heh, heh; Think you can keep up?"

Kusake struck a fighting stance.

"i know..." He didn't really, but let it slide. Mars performed some hand signs.

Utsurokon! Mars' body color tinted down to a soft gray, and his eyes became hollowed out, and the red irises in his eyes glowed. The chunin from before trembled back a few steps. Mars looked around forhis target, he saw some rustling leaves, all that was revealed was a small squirrel, carrying an acorn in its mouth.

I will find you... Mars became more serious, he knew that the lives of so many were at stake.

"HEY! Why don't ya stop lurking in the trees, and show yourself?!"

[Hack Slasher]

Kadiyet heard the kids from the mist village yelling and Kadiyet noticed a ninja was attacking them, so he ran over to help the kids.


"Somebody help me!! a ninja is attacking me!!!" The leader said panicing, then he saw Kadiyet running at Kusake with his Katana. "Hey you other ninja help me!!!"

"It's what i plan on doing, your dead Kusake!" Kadiyet yelled.
Kadiyet jumped into the air and slashed where Kusake was. Kadiyet had jumped back once he thought he had hit his target not sure if he hit, he hid in the trees.

Kadiyet's katana hit him in the side, and Kasuke just stood there. suddenly, he became a log. One with an exploding tag on it.

the real Kasuke was in a tree, watching.

A real thorn in my side, that boy. Boom.

[Jake]

Viinasu hummed a little tune as she hopped from tree to tree. She spotted a group of three ninja, then pounced down upon one, and slit her neck with a kunai. The other two turned to see their comerade fall down in a swirl of cherry blossoms.

Viinasu stood in the tree and looked down smiling with blood lust in her eyes.

She did a few and signs and shouted, "Dark Vine Jutsu!"

The ground split and giant spiked vines erupted from the earth, shooting foward and hitting one of the nin into the other, both falling back.

On a closer look, the two seemed to be twins. They did a few hand signs, and one spit a ball of fire and the other a ball of water. Both flew at Viinasu, and she dodged both elegantly.

"Oh please."

She smiled.

"Polar opposites, eh? Why not have one fight the other?"

She aimed one arm at the water breather after various hand signs, and hit her target right in the chest. He turned on his brother and held him down with a blank look in his eyes. He summoned a giant bubble of water, and both slowly drowned in the bubble.

She smiled evily and stabbed the flower in the water breather's chest, which wilted and turned to dust immediately. She then returned to the trees.

She heard an explosion to her left, but decided to leave it be.

Mars watched as Kadiyet left. Mars saw another boy in the trees, he thought he should follow him, but he was distracted when someone approached him.

"Hey, watchya doin in the bushes?" A blonde haired genin approachd him with the question.

"Nothing... im uh... I dropped something."

"What didya drop?"

"My supplies."

"Whats in your supplies?"

"Whats with all the questions?"

... The genin just walked away. Mars lost track of the ninja he was focused on, Mars just entered the forest, and looked for anything suspicious.

Mars ventued through the forest of death, the sun shined through the trees. He looked to his right, and saw an open area. Two bodies lay in the middle, with giant holes in their bodies, it was disgusting. You could see their guts still spilling out.

He ignored them, and decided to try looking from above the trees. Mars built up chakra in his legs. He ran up the trunk of the tree, and flipped . He stood above the tree, he didn't see anyone in front. But he didnt think of looking behind him. He looked back, and saw th leaves shake off a tree. Mars jumped below, and saw someone approaching him, she appeared to be wearing an all black apparel.

Kusake sat in the tree, still hidden. He was taking a break, seeing as how he had just struggled by.

Man...If Viinasu hadn't interrupted me, i would have used up too much chakra. I gotta stay hidden..I-

As Mars approached, he watched closely and didn't take his eyes off him.

AH, him again! This is really troublesome! Man, I hope Viinasu isn't having such a hard time. Wait- Someone else is coming! Is that-?

He leaned forward to get a better view, and accidentally shook the branch, causing the leaves to ruffle.

Kadiyet heard something in the trees but didn't think about it to much.

"Wow, being in the forest reminds me when i was taking the chunin exams..." Kadiyet said to himself quietly, "-sigh-, i wonder if anybody has died yet other then the people from the mist village... but hey this might be a time for me to learn some new justus, or not but either way i should keep my eyes open." Kadiyet sat down on a rock and started to think. "maybe i should try and warn the Jenin again about those two ninjas here. but they won't listen i know it" Kadiyet sat there waiting for something interesting to happen.

Good, i don't think he noticed me...I hope.

Kusake decided to sit back on the tree branch. He leaned against the trunk and looked up at the sky dreamilly.

This really does bring back memories. I remember when I first came to this forest. Oh, i don't even know how i survived back then. Now, it's nothing. Nothing at all. Funny how you think something's this gigantic deal one minute and then it's a walk in the park the next....Night should be falling soon. It's also funny how some missions take a matter of hours and others can take months, even years to complete. If this is going to be one of the latter, i hope it's at least not boring...I...ah...need some rest. Hmm.

He slipped into a light sleep, curled among the branches.

Hakida and his team seemed to continue waiting, to most people. What was really going on was that the image of the team and dogs sitting there, was an illusion. A very potent illusion conjured by Yunaka Hatake. It was meant to draw in any enemy teams. Once in the cave, they would be trapped, and see as the cave was littered with Suriko's traps that were concealed, they would stand no chance.

Unfortunately, the real team watched from above, in the highest of the trees. Kurisu was actually still in the cave, being lazy, but everyone else was waiting for an enemy to be lured in. No one had come so far. They were getting anxious. They wanted depserately to get out of this dangerous forest, and into the safe tower.

Soon enough, though, Haru heard something. He caught eye contact with all of the team, with a face that told all. Everyone in the team was affiliated with most of Hakida's summons, because he frequently used them. Haru was hearing the chatter and muffled footsteps of three kids. They were approaching their trap at high speeds. All they had to do know was wait....

[Hack Slasher]

Kadiyet watched the sky get dark. "-sigh- i remember when i almost died here, the people from the sand village attacked me when i wasn't with my crew" Kadiyet thought to himself while he was staring at the sky. i should find a shelter so i can sleep... hey theres a tree there. Kadiyet started climbing the tree and found a person sleeping.
"Kusake!!!" Kadiyet yelled and jumped out of the tree. "What are you doing there?!?!" Kadiyet waited for a response.

[Purp]

"AAH!"

Kusake woke up suddenly at Kadiyet's yell. He fell out of the tree and landed on his back, but quickly sat up and rubbed his back.

"What am i doing here? Well i believe i was sleeping...jeez..."

"Heh sorry, but since you're awake i wanna talk.. i wanna be on your team, i don't want to be against you anymore." Kadiyet said. "so what do you say?"

i know i might have to kill genin if i join them, but I would rather have allies then enemys

Hmm. On one hand, we'd receive a powerful ally that would distract the ANBU while we escape. On the other hand, it could be a trap...hmm.

"Heh. Okay, sure.

Kusake got up and dusted himself off. He scanned the area around him, and saw a figure coming towards them.

Mars was distracted, he saw the nin who left the training academy classroom on the ground. And decided to confront him instead of waiting for the other ninja approaching him in the trees, the ninja above ignored Mars, and continued on. Mars jumped down to the ground, he saw Kadiyet talking with the other ninja. He approached him with several questions.

"You, green eyes." Kadiyet walked aside. "Identify yourself."

[Purp]

Kusake looked at Mars and sighed tiredly. As he stood up, he stretched out his arms and cracked his neck.

"You again, huh? Well, I guess it'd be fitting to put my signature on a work of art, so I'm..."

He gave a devilish smirk and stared into Mars' empty, souless eyes.

"...Akahana Kusake."

Art? wha--? Mars was confused b Kusake's comment. Akahana, why does that sound familiar?

"Kusake... I'm Mars, Mars Anaboko. Kadiyet here tells me you have plans in store for the Genin." Kusake glared at Kadiyet. "well... even though it is my mission to kill them as well, i cannot... i will not take their lives, and i will not let you..."

Mars struck a fighting stance, and drew a kunai.

[Purp]

"Yeah, i guess you could say that I do have plans for these children."

Suddenly, Kusake's face became cold and menacing.

"...And i will carry them out. If you're willing to fight for these people, then i guess i'll have to defeat you."

Kusake struck a fighting pose and vine tips began to poke out from his forearms. He struck another evil smirk.

"Come, and witness my brilliant artwork."

"Kusake, I told him before we became allies." Kadiyet started to explain.

Kadiyet went to a attacking pose with his Katana out and a Shurkin in one of his hands.
