And my name's from...

Here you can say where your name came from, whether it's your real name, your favourite character, a play on words or just random letters, here's were you can say so.

I'll start the ball rolling, mine came from my original name "theultimatebulk" but it was weird and wasn't very "professional" looking so I shortened it to "Bulk". The Ultimate Bulk is also an opposite of The incredible Hulk. The Ultimate Bulk was always a man who when he became hungry ("don't make me hungry, you won't like me when I'm hungry...") became a big, blue, fat sumo wrestler.

And now it's onto you guys.

heh. i'm going to explain all three of my names.
first, the original. kirbymew.
long story, get some popcorn.
my first time for having a username was on a website called creatures caves, a site about a game called creatures (which rocks. norns are luff.). it had a chatroom (not forum), and i signed in one day as nobody. yup, the name kirbymew started as nobody. the discussion turned to smilies and i did this:

which is dancing kirbys.
one of the mods decided that nobody was an annoying name to use in conversation, so changed it to kirby.
i used that name for many weeks, then decided to join serebii. now, someone had already taken the name kirby, so i took the name of the first pokemon i could think of and added it to the name. and thus, kirbymew was born.

tempusdominus.
well, in time, young kirbymew became a doctor who addict, but happily stayed kirbymew. then, the series ended and kirbymew became very sad about this. she got her name changed as a tribute. tempusdominus is latin for timelord, the species/occupation of the doctor. (argue it as you will, whovians. i know his species is gallifreyan, but he keeps saying timelord. i also know there are gallifreyans who weren't timelords, but, eh, whatever.)
lastly, nevermore, the name i intend to keep.
now, tempusdominus, after six months of waiting, was overjoyed as the doctor who returned to her life. she liked the name temousdominus, but it was too long and no longer needed as a tribute. she didn't know, though, what she should change her name to. for a brief period, she had her name changed to km_returns to stop people saying she should change back to kirbymew. but she didn't want to go back to kirbymew. kirbymew didn't suit her. it was pink and girly and fluffy, which basically was aginst her principles. she had never chosen that name, it was really given to her. it was only used in serebii as she didn't know what else to be.
she, whilst surfing the wonderful sea known as the internet, came across an old poem which she liked but had never paid much attention to, and decided thta she loved it. she began memorising it at once, and changed her name to the name of the raven in the poem, nevermore. this was much more suited to her. it matched her addiction with 'the crow' perfectly, showed her love of corvids, and was anti pink, girly, and fluffy. nevermore liked this name very much.

this wierd person added me on msn [my old account] and he was all like: "who are you" and i wal all like: "Some random guy" at the time, i was looking for a new nickname. and i noticed how people had names like MNIG "my name is greg". i started to write down ones. until i came with SRG. but that was more of an abreviation of "sergant" and i didnt like that cause i knew people would say things like "sergant who?" so instead of one letter, i took two. to come up with Soragu. it also sounds japanese-like, which is cool.

Hmm... I like Pirates. I like Nine-Tailed Demon Foxes. Kaptain Kyuubi it is! It used to be Xkraid but that's boring and stupid now so i changed it, i think it was Kraid at the very beginning, before pyramids and eyerything but one day i attempted to join some sort of Forum and the name was taken so i stuck an X in front of it. Pretty soon it's gonna be something... Different for a week though, go here to find out why.

Pokemix... well i really like pokemon and when i first thought of the name i had made over 100 of my own mixed cds and i like a mix variaty of music. so its pokemon with my personality of music...

well, no, that mustbe one of the most stupid things i've ever said.

here is the real story:
once upon a time, in a little country called the Netherlands, a boy lived. he hopped from forum to forum, calling himself by his favorite pokémon, king_vigoroth. but one day, when the sky turned black and a storm raged, something snapped inside of him. his name king_vigoroth had become to much for him. so, the little boy thought of a new name, but he couldn't think of what he was looking for. he searched in every little bit of his memory, but there was no result. he cried and cried, and so he lost his faith in finding his name, and withdrew himself from the world. he lived like a monk, but only one who had access to a computer. and so the boy started to create things on the computer.

one day, when he least expected it, the boy ran into a photoshop brush. it had the shape of an ink splat. his brain started squeeking, the sun shined through the dark clouds, and at that moment the boy thought: it must be ink. the sky became dark again and the storm ripped his roof off. the little boy sighed and said: "fine, it will be splat". the dark clouds disappeared and he lived happily after after, with his newfound name.

Hmm...MoonGale...? No idea how i got it...Wait! It's coming to me!

Well...I'm obsesed with Fire Emblem and medieval war, no...? So...I wrote a fanfiction offline. The main character's nickname was the MoonGale, since she could weild cosmic winds...Annd she was as beautiful as the moon, the story went. And I liked that play on words. I just like the moon and strong winds...Plus i ounded nice. So yeah. I use it a lot online, now.....Moon for short.

But, I've recently been using Aeriath, one of my pokesonas...She's a white winged arbok with green markings and green yes...And I liked the name. So....I signed up on lots of forums as Aeriath. Yayz.

Then I came here. And my Aeriath obsession had worn off. So....MoonGale was reborn! *shot* My other usernames, Like Tereduck and sieglinde...Well, Sieglinde is from Fire Emblem. It's some sword's name. I like that name. So I use it. And Treduck is the first four letters of my name and duck. I love ducks. It's my e-mail addres, too....So yeah....

i was making an account on DA, but since mau was taken, i made up a new one stratto, wich reminded me of Jimmy Neutron's rocket.

I don't expect anybody to understand it but it's a word of a different language written back to front (the actual language has letters that don't even look close to English letters so I just wrote it how it would sound in English)

My name has been with me forever. When I was like 8 years old I was obsessed with Sneaking up on people and stuff like that. When I reached age 12 I was so stealthy I could get away from any situation. Around age 13 I got invovled with a gang(big mistake) and I told them about my stealth skills and they asked me to show them, so I left and came back 15 minutes later with 300 dollars, It was a big mistake in my life, I had went unnoticed into a gas station and snuck behind the counter, just as the cashier rung up someones purchase I reached up and grabbed all the 50 dollar bills, the cashier didnt notice. That 300 dollars got my my first set of daggers and I carried them with me everywhere and I became known as the Assassin. My uncle West R.I.P, was shot and killed by a rival gang. I fipped out and went after the guys who killed him, I almost died in the progress, I found one of the kids who was invovled he was like 17 at the time, I just walked up to him and with both daggers slashed an X across his chest. My gangmates started calling my AssassinX and thats where it came from. Soon after that at age 14 I gave up on the gang thing and got my life together. I moved from massachusetts out here to Minnasota, and well here I am 15 years old and sitting here typing this long thing about where my name came from.

And my parents named me Jacob, where Jake comes from, chosen for the John Wayne movie Big Jake and the fact that it's a Biblical name. Although I don't know why you'd pick Jacob out of the bible, he wrestled an angel, overpowered him, and was renamed Israel. Some girl at school calls me Israel when she remembers that.

I guess if you want to know, I used to be called Arti or Arti-son, the White Wolf. But that name, which I loved so much, I discarded. I was also a Seegen for some time, a Klee from Eelong. Not that you guys no what that means. And finally, jakepwnsjoo for obvious reasons, shortened to Jake when it wasn't taken. ^^ So... yeah. Sorry to bore you to tears.

Well I have had two names here on CS. The first one Blizzard was one I made up based on my love for snowstorms and cold stuff in general. My 2nd one Icon of Dominance is actually the name of my favourite Lordi Song

i was making an account on runescape, and my username was going to be jclaytontucker, cause thats my e-mail address. but, the name had to be 3-12 letters,and i didnt relize that untill it said my user was jclaytontuck, and its been like that ever since...

PS: dont ever,everjoin runescape unless you will spend allot of time on it.

i was originally absol attacker like everywhere else, but i chose purpurea in favor of the species name of my first tarantula.

I got the name aocom from an illustration company. But when you look it up on google... it's like... asian communications companies. o-o;

I don't have anything really interesting, like slashing an anarchy symbol onto a website... or something. o-0; then it would be... AOcom ah guess.... or (A)com...

Think me a liar if you wish, but I know the truth. And quite frankly, im not proud of it.

guys you know some people really live that kind of thing, even thought it does look quiet exaggerated, there are chances for that kind of story to be real.
and anyway it doesn't matter if it is or not anymore since if it is, it's past worth forgetting about, and if not, it's still totally irrelevant for a spriting community. so don't turn it into a moral discussion about lies unnecessarily.
