[Nevermore]

Nevermore growled and snatched up the nearest uniform. It seemed she had no choice about being dragged into this. She found an empty cubicle and changed, then went back out to join the rest of the group. The uniforms didn't actually feel as bad as she thought they would, but she still felt stupid.
"Dork isn't really my colour." she said “is this really necessary? And what's all this dagger room stuff, then? Sounds like a barrel of laughs."

[Kap'n Kyuubi]

"We'll see who laughs" Kureiguu said and walked back to the wall he was leaning on. there were still un-dressed people. (Won't they please just get changed...)

"Yeah, when little miss glum over there finds out what this rom really does." Cameron whispered to Kurieguu. He looked around the room, remembering the last time he was here. It seemed so long ago, when Ororo Monroe, aka Storm, was his teacher. They had come in here for real life experience.

"You mean you know? i don't, mind telling?" kureiguu said, he didn't expect that anyone would know already what the room does.

"well sure I do, but its a secret. You'll find out soon." Cameron ran off and saw Angel was still in the air waiting for everyone to get changed. "Man, who is so stubborn that they're still waiting to get changed."

"Come on, all of this nonsense gives me a headache" said Zack. "Am I going to zap something or what?"
Soon Zack, be patient" said Angel.
"Patient.. grrr.." he moaned.
"Hay Nevermore, what can you do?" Asked Zack. "I haven't seen you in action yet".
Then he made a little ball of electricity and through it towards her in order to see how she will react, thinking to himself "it won’t hurt, well too much"…

(Damn it! What is he thinking?!) kureiguu turned invisible and jumped in front of the Electricity ball. Of course, being invisible, no-one noticed him and didn't understand what had happened, Kureiguu slipped away into the Changing Room, returned visibility and was shocked to see himself unscratched. (I suddenly don't feel so much hatred towards this Suit) Kureiguu cloaked himself in invisibility again, sneaked back to his previous position, before jumping in front of the ball, quietly revealed himself and said "Wow, looks like nevermore can make things vanish... I'm jealous." A few people looked at him but didn't seem to suspect him much.

"Zack!" cameron and Angel screamed at the same time. The two looked at eachother and cameron continued. "Zack, you cannot just sit there and test their powers by throwing balls of electricity at them. Think, what if she can't control her powers yet and some big explosion were to happen, we'd all die. And what if her powers aren't fully developed yet, that could've killed her. You don't do that okay?"

Flora sat on the floor. Yawning as she was waiting for Angel to speak. She flopped awkwardly on the ground and fell asleep. She felt so tired from all the events that happened in about one day. People stared as they saw a carrot head fall unconcious on the floor. "Uhh.... I think something happened to Flora." Nevermore said blankly.

[Starter530]

"Nah, she's just sleeping." Cameron winked. "I can wake her up though." Cameron looked around the room and he saw just what he needed , an open bottle ofwater. He levitated the water out and moved iit closer towards Flora's face and.....
Splash right in her face, instantly jolting her out of her sleep with an angry look on her face.

"You had to wake me up like that!" Flora charged at Cameron furiously. He swiped his hand and the water came off of her face and hair, swiftly controlling it to her feet, Flora slipped and landed on her back.

"This might be fun..." Cameron smirked as he continuously picked up the water and thrust it at her face.

"St-st-stop i-it." Her words came out in gurgles. Cameron finally lifted the water away from her.

"Yeah, okay, whatever." Cameron scoffed.

"Break it up! Calm down Flora!" Angel scolded.

"Don't tell me to calm down, you! Cameron should be punished!" Flora yelled at Angel, gracefully hovering in the air.

"For what? Throwing water in your face? It's just water." Cameron giggled as Zack joined into the laughing.

"Why you little-!" Angel swooped down in front of Flora as she started to steam, picked her up, & dropped her over by Nevermore.

"Keep her company Nevermore." Angel flew back to his original spot.

[Nevermore]

Nevermore raised an eyebrow. "Not quite the best company in the world, but hey, each to their own..."
Everyone just seemed to be getting into squabbles. If this was supposed to be some sort of superhero team in the making, they weren't going the best way about it. At least everyone seemed to be ready now, though. "So what do we do here,a part from arguing?" Now that angel had landed, he seemed to be prepared to answer questions.

[Bulk]

"Right," said Angel, looking rather sternly at them all. "I guess it's ok to start without the others, they can just join in when they arrive. Welcome to the Dagger Room. The most expensive room into eh world. Here you will take your first test of your two-week course. Yes, the Professor has decided that we don't have time to teach you ourselves, we are simply going to test your powers."

He tapped a few buttons on his watch and the room went wiggly for a bit and transformed into a square in China surrounded by run down buildings. There was a bench, a small patch of grass, a number of washing lines hung out and a water fountain to the left.

"Now, your first test," said Angel smiling. "Would you please all line up, good. Now, I would like to deal with these arrows, and try to stay alive, they are as real as you're going to get."

He flew out the way and pressed another button on his watch. About 100 arrows suddenly flew into view over a wall to the far side of the square. About 20 of them had dynamite attached to them; something Angel had 'forgotten' to mention and about 50 were on fire. "GOOD LUCK!" he called out, perched on top of the highest building.

[Kap'n Kyuubi]

Kureiguu turned invisible (too bad invisibility isn't invincibility) and started running. His powers couldn't actually stop the Arrows so he was going to have to rely on his own Evasion Skills. At first he jumped onto a Washing Line but when the first wave of Arrows hit the floor, the line was snapped so he jumped onto a low Rooftop (i was about to lose balance anyway.) More Waves of Arrows were starting to land now so he started to climb up the buildings until about 3 inches in front of his eyes, an Arrow found it's home wedged into a Roof Tile (That was close...) Kureiguu thought, sighing when he realised something stuck to the Arrow. A piece of paper that had set itself on fire, an Explosive Tag! the building Roof Top exploded and he jumped into the air around 15 Metres above ground...

[Starter530]

"Be careful! This is Real!" Cameron said instantly running towards the water fountain. he used a turning kick on the nozzle and knocked it off, making the water spray everywhere. He started to control it and made a wall like he did outside the mansion the night before. He shot it forward, knocking back one wave of the fire arrows, dousing the flames in the process. He tried to lift the water again when another wave was fired and an arrow clipped Cameron on his right shoulder leaving a cut. "Son of a...." the shock made him fall to the ground avoiding more arrows. I've got to be more carefull. He stood up and lifted the water quickle smashing it into another wave of the fire arrows. He looked at his arm. it was bleeding badly. Cameron winced as he lifted his arms to get the water when he saw an arrow coming straight towards him, he dropped the water.
He was on the wrong end of a bad William Tell parody and there was nothing he could do.

Kureiguu's falling to death was interupted by a strong wall of Water. "Thanks, Cameron" he said revealing his visibility. "looks like you got hit." Another Wave appeared. "How long are these planning on coming?" Kureiguu yelled and looked at Cameron, he was bleeding more than kureiguu thought "Move!" kureiguu shouted as an Arrow headed straight for him. he ran towards cameron as fast as he could but knew he wouldn't make it in time so he jumped in the way and attempted to grab the Arrow which worked though badly cut his hand, the pain ruined his balance and timing and he fell onto his side and into the fountain. the water was deeper than he thought and he couldn't lift himself up because of his injured hand...

"Kurieguu!" Cameron shouted staying low he lifted up his good arm and lifted the water out of the fountain. Freeing Kurieguu. He used the water to surround himself as kurieguu lay in the fountain. Cameron ran towards the fountain with the water so compacted that the arrows could not come through. He positioned himself in front of the fountain and blasted the arrows that came within his range of attack.

[Nevermore]

As the arrows suddenly flew towards her and the other mutants, Nevermore dropped to the floor and jumped behind a pillar holding up some sort of porch. Over the noise of arrows thudding and various powers being used, she yelled, "What is this? Real or illusion?" she climbed to the top of the pillar to get a better look at what was going on, then hastily leapt away onto some sort of giant urn as an arrow made a beeline to where she had been. "And are they intent on killing us?" she hopped inside the urn for a moments peace. There was an explosion, and someone yelped, as if they had been hit. Nevermore looked up over the top of the urn, then ducked back inside as a burning arrow flew over her head and into the ceramic rim of the pot behind her. She turned to look at it, and saw a fuse almost burnt down. Just before it exploded, she looked at it with a sigh and the type of half smile that says "of course. Just my luck." she leapt form the pot just as it exploded, and got thrown into a wall across the room. Another volley of arrows headed towards her, and with no place to hide or run now, nevermore was internally dreading that her powers would be no help here, that telekinesis and psychic abilities had been honed into something that doesn't actually help with anything but people. With a resigned shrug, she stretched her arms out towards the arrows, shut her eyes and turned away, and said "worth a try". Black mist, directed by her hands, shot out in front of her and the arrows flew through it. 'I’m not dead, that's a start.' she thought. Nevermore opened her eyes. The mist had gone as quickly as it had appeared, and the arrows either lay in front of her or had crashed into the wall. They looked charred and burned. She bent and picked one up, and it crumbled to dust.
A wave of exaustion swept over Nevermore. It had been days since she had last 'eaten', and she had never tried anything like that before. Who knows how much energy it took to do that? She pulled herself round the corner of a building out of the arrowfire, and let herself slump against a wall.

[Kap'n Kyuubi]

Kureiguu coughed up some Water and slowly got up, he had a head-ache from landing on the stone in the fountain as well. "Wow, cameron, you saved me again, thanks" Kureiguu looked around and saw other mutants struggling with the Arrows as well, "this is mad, i can't do anything." He had a numb, bloody hand, a splitting head-ache and was drenched in Water, the fact that the Arrows showed no sign of stopping didn't exactly help either. (How long can he keep this Water barrier up? It sure is an incredible Defense...)

"Cameron, Kureiguu, you guys alright!?" Flora shouted. Ok, I have to concentrate! She lifted her hands up in the air, dragging a stump up from the ground. "Agh! It's so he-heavy!" She continued to pull the stump up, high enough to protect her long enough. A sweat drop rolled down her face as she used her powers. An arrow flew at her, slightly slitting her on her cheek. She winced in pain, but finished pulling the stump as for now. I remember a technique! Something that can heal wounds slightly! Something of a flower! While deep in thought a sound of cracking wood shocked her back into reality.

"Come on Flora!" Cameron yelled. Flora dashed towards Cameron, going behind the fountain. What! The stump was hollow! It was weak! I still can't control my powers... "Flora, are you alright?" They looked at her while she was blaming herself in her thoughts.

"Yeah. Don't worry about me!" She looked at thier wounds. "You guys are hurt badly!" She felt a sudden jolt of her powers activating. Pink glowing petals surrounded her, gently laying on the wounds from the arrows. " This technique! I remember! The healing technique!" The cut on her cheek disappeared quickly, since it was a small one.

"These petals..." Kureiguu looked at his hand, the wound was healing slowly. Cameron looked down at his own wound, watching it close slowly, but helpfully. Flora smiled happily, knowing that she had actually helped. Both of the boys thanked her.

[Starter530]

"Flora....T-That's amazing! I can't feel a thing!" Cameron said looking at the skin that was once slit open. "Just stay behind the water wall Kurieguu, It's not as big as the one last night so I'll be able to hold it longer, I just have to-" He was cut off in mid-sentance. The arrows suddenly stopped, then they started to fire faster and more in one wave. "Oh my God." An arrow peirced through the water wall. "No, its not strong enough." Cameron then closed his eyes and began to focus. He opened his eyes, revealing that they had changed to their deep blue state, and his hair stood on end. Suddenly the water wall grew another ten feet! Cameron was using to much of his power though, he began to stagger at the force of trying to keep it up.

"Wow, that was amazing! You two have great powers." Kureiguu said. "We're gonna have to move soon, the Arrows... there can't be too many more. Perhaps behind that wall where they're coming from, there's some sort of machine we could break? Something must be causing them."

A sudden silence occured...

"Well i'm going" Kureiguu said and begain to walk through the Water when an Arrow sped past his face, he quickly lept back in "How did it know i was there?! there's some sort of trick to these Arrows! They're following us!" Kureiguu shouted in victory, for he had discovered the Arrows secret... Or at least he thinks he had. "Then we should stay here, going out there is suicide" Flora replied but kureiguu vanished half way through that sentance, perhaps the Arrows will leave him alone now that they couldn't see him.

On his way to the direction that the Arrows were coming from kureiguu passed nevermore slumped against a Wall "Err... You okay?" he asked, "there's a bit of a defense back there, perhaps you should go there, it isn't safe just staying here" Kureiguu said and then thought, he hadn't seen that 'Zack' kid since this whole Arrow thing started. (What if something happened to him? i can't just ignore it, i've gotta look for him) kureiguu thought (perhaps i'll find him on my way to stop the Arrows.) He didn't know why he wanted to see if everyone was safe, it was just a feeling... "Hey, are you gonna answer or what?" Kureiguu said to Nevermore after being ignored by her.

[Nevermore]

Nevermore opened her eyes, hearing Kureiguu speaking to her. She shook herself like a dog to try and clear her head a little. Now that her defences were lower she could hear vauge voices, probably thoughts from everyone else in the room. Kureiguu offered a had, and after a moments thought, Nevermore took it and was pulled to her feet. "Thanks" she said quietly, averting her eyes, uneasy with being shown kindness form others after ebing alone so long. She looked round, and saw that there was indeed a shelter of sorts, an ice wall. She took a few staggering steps and steadyed herself, and turned back to Kureiguu. "Good luck with finding zack" She said, then tapped the side of her head as a means of explaination as to how she knew. She smiled briefly at him, then ran towards the ice wall where everyone else was waiting.

[Kap'n Kyuubi]

"Did she... Read my... mind?" kureiguu said, blinking stupidly. "Ah, i might have been thinking private thoughts!" kureiguu shouted out loud and then gasped and covered his mouth "that was too loud..." he whispered. "Well i've got to find Zack" kureiguu ran off, going invisible again and heard what sounded like electricity in the distance...

OOC: Kaptain Kyuubi i must say you have such great timing, I was writing this before I saw your post

Zack knew it was no joke and that the arrows are real since he has been at the dagger room long before, training with Cameron and the other students. "It had never been that tough right on the start, angel must really wants to take us to our limit", right then he noticed a flaming arrow flying his way. In the last moment he was able to jump and roll without getting hit and started to run, avoiding several more arrows. Suddenly a wall blocked his way, "No where to run" he said. "I've got to do something". Then an idea crossed his mind, his eyes became white with sparks coming from them as he was using his powers and shot an electric bolt towards the dynamites on some of the arrows that where hading his way. The electricity caused them to blast knocking the other arrows near them. "I can't believe it worked". Suddenly another wave of arrows came, "Will it never end?", Zack took out some more waves that way but he started to get tired of using his powers so much. "I've got to find the others, I can't do this for long, we must form some kind of plan". He run back to find the others while he was taking out the waves that were coming his way. Suddenly he crashed into something, "what the!?! There is nothing here" he said and then saw Kyuubi turning visible, feeling his head. "Kyuubi, watch out where your going!!!, are the others ok? We must do something"

"Phew! I found you!" kureiguu said, finding Zack. "They've made a barrier down there, i came to look for you, i'm gonna go find out a way to destroy the Arrows... You wanna come? there should be some sort of Machine, over that building." kureiguu said pointing to a particulary large building that Arrows were coming from behind...

The building's Door tilted open and kureiguu and Zack began to walk in "Hmm... This seems too easy" Kureiguu said keeping suspicious as the hologram image flickered showing the inside of the Chinese Building and the empty dagger Room yet there was no sign of any machine pumping out Arrows until suddenly Holes appeared in all the Walls and Arrows showed their heads out of the holes, preparing to launch themselves at the two mutants...

Cameron had the water wall up for too long now. He knew that he had to keep it up, else they would be skewered by the many waves of arrows. He held out his hands trying to sustain the barrier. He looked behind him, Flora was there who could not control her powers fully yet, and Nevermore who no one knew what she did. He had to protect them. The cornea of his eyes had ceased to exist now the entire eyeballs were a deep blue. If I keep this up I'll kill myself. Then his, knees quivered and then buckled. He fell to the ground and their only protection fell in front of them just as another wave of arrows were fired. Cameron struggled to catch his breath.
